Ummm maybe I should just try myself but hows twrp 2.6 working out for those who have flashed it? Are the bugs that were in 2.5 and 2.4 still present?

I haven't done a whole lot of testing, but 2.6 has worked fine for me.

Cool. Ill give it a try myself.'
TWRP 2.6 is working just fine for me. It hangs for a couple (2-5) seconds before doing a couple of specific actions like rebooting, but that is not a bother for me because I have not problem with it.
Flashing ROMs is no problem either. I've flashed CM10.1 nightlies, Viper, bpear's seneless ROM, and another one that I cannot remember all without hiccups.

I was checking this out the other night. I've heard good things about crackflashers, but I haven't tried out their roms yet. Anyone tried them?
Looks interesting ......
oooh ! downloading will post back !
Whats crackflashers? I googled, but didnt find what I was looking for.
CM7 builds are already out, but whats crackflashers?
The only thing I know about CF is that DJDarkKnight has based his DarkGinger theme off of them. Other than that, nada.

surprisingly quick rom also... testing other things now
GPS doesn't seem to be working for me. The location icon was blinking up top but stopped and now it won't lock on for Maps. What a shame
I've seen lots of twitters posts with crackflashers, will be fun to check out.
GPS worked for me... locked on my location... might be like the other GB roms (hit or miss)
Navagation works fine...OC'd to 1113600... so far a fast rom with no reboots
No apps2SD
EDIT: Ahhh.... SD card doesnt mount

OK, as some of you may know, SNQ has developed a TB Wake for GB Sense ROMs.
I have taken the liberty to port the hack to be compatible with AOSP ROMs, so really the credits goes to SNQ.
I have tested the mod to work with Oxygen, but might as well work with other AOSP ROMs.
I know SNQ made some changes to the kernel, but I tested this with the standard kernel that comes with Oxygen 2.1.1, and it seems to be working good.
It works like in the good old days with Froyo where you had to edit the "curcial-oj.kl"
EDIT: Confirmed working on Devnull 1.02 as well
First, Thanks for your work!!!
I'm on oxygen 2.1.1. and flashed the zip with CWM (recovery), but the trackball don't wake up my phone.
Did I something wrong?
You make my day better
Now it's time to move to Oxygen for good.

+1 here. Fresh Oxygen 2.1.1 with no mods, and default kernel. No go.
Says "Installation aborted" in CWM 3.0.2.8.
Weird! Just tested it 20 minutes ago... I will look into it straight away! Else replace the 2 files in a fresh Oxygen ROM and flash it again (sign. verif. off)
Sorry guys redid the update.zip, and I think it should be working now!

Sorry about that. I have no idea how to make the UpdateR scripts the newer CWM versions uses. However you could just fake flash the older version of CWM

I started with venom XL and flashed Beastmode, then I flashed Nocternal had some issues so I restored my original back up. Thats when I noticed the camera freezing so I flashed Clean ROM and it is still doing it.

Yes I did a clean install, I Fixed it. I had to flash the Clean ROM Kernel to remove the beastmode kernel I had on there and now it works fine. Thanks to all who tried to help.
If you wanted to use Beastmode Kernel though, you could use the cam fix

What's the best jelly bean rom for the One S (S4). I'm tired of waiting for the official OTA from HTC so i'm going to try a custom rom. I've heard CM10 is one the best but i could only find nightlies in the development section. Any suggestions?

Nightlies work fine so don't worry about that and if you want a bit of a tweaked one then BAKED BlackBean is a good rom. But before you do anything if you haven't flashed a rom on this phone then you want to get yourself into the All-In-One Toolkit thread and do a bit of read before you do any flashing and also don't install CWM but instead install TWRP recovery.
Oh right thanks dude, and yh I've done rooting on this phone before so I've got the all in one kit. Atm I'm unrooted so I don't have a custom recovery so what's different about twrp from cwm

Not really but you are bested off with TWRP. Its mostly it will boot into CWM if you turn off the phone with usb cable connected and cant mount SD.

Baked is good too, but I find the latest PAC Man ROM to be really stable, and has lots of good tweaks and customizations available (its also one of the more recently updated AOSP base ROMs).
Also make sure to use a good AOSP kernel, and klin has the only good solution, his Fusion 3.1. It works very well for me. If your coming from SENSE, you will need to flash that kernel as well in order to load the ROM (check the kernel thread for install instructions and follow carefully, since you may need to fastboot flash in addition to flashing the .zip).
Cheers,
AKToronto

LOL, I remember your posts in that kernel thread... Hard to know what the issue is. Seems like kernels can have feelings too, and it dont like you, lol.
But in all seriousness, I would definately second your recomendation for using TWRP custom recovery. It has lots of useful features and is way more intuitive than Clockwork. Its also been updated more recently than Clockwork for the HTC One S.
I used clockwork for a while until I tried TWRP and now havent looked back. If you try it, you will see why its better.

Yeah, klin said it won't work for baked as of yet.
And I would have to agree that baked is the nicest rom available for the one s. I have it UC to 1.026ghz and it's as responsive and quick as anything else at 1.5 or even OC'd higher. The battery life is excellent as well
There's also some settings he added under settings->baked rom control->prop modder/init.d that are really nice. Some signal enhancements, boot settings etc.
I'm not sure if you prefer sense to aosp, or if the main reason for wanting jb is for Google Now, but the viper rom has GNow working just fine and is sense based.

Havent you experienced the unresponsive bottom in most of the apps ? or sometime with the home screen itself ? I tried it and went back to CM10.1 RC5. I would suggest wait for the issues to be resolved, looks like this rom is in nascent stages...

Usually that problem is because the Pie trigger is on the bottom edge of the screen. Move the trigger and you should be fine.
