I recently purchased the CDS N7102 8125 (SKU41556*) from Pandawill
and after rooting decided would have a it of a clear out... you know were this is heading after removing what i thought was non required apk dealing with contacts i now get the Unfortunately, the process android.process.acore has stopped error. scoured the web and tried everything clearing cash factory reset even safe mode reset but afraid no joy..

Question 1, Is there a way to replace the android.process.acore File/Files?
If Not then
Question 2, Does anybody have the original or modified ROM or even all the files in System directory that i can restore the phone with?

About 18 months ago I successfully reflashed my daughters (VF Spain) HTC MINI HD from WM 6.4 (I think ?) to Photonic's Android 2.3.7 .
My son now has the phone and he wants to reload WMback on to it . I've downloaded a few WM ROMs (RUU_Signed_0C0Ano_sense_clean.nbh) from this site , but they all seem to require that the phone already has WM on it and that I establish an active synch connection with the phone before hand in order to perform the upgrade .
I'd appreciate any help that you could give me to remove android and reinstall WM .

Hi again .
I've managed to find the WM backup (.img) that we made before changing to Android . Can some kind person please tell me how to go about restoring this image from the RECOVERY menu ? I've tried a few things but now all I'm getting are "MD5 mismatch" errors .

I was missing a file called "nandroid.md5" in my backup folder . I created an empty file and my phone is recovering as we speak .

I have an issue with my LG G2 after Lollipop upgrade.
Prior to upgrade I did full backup using lg pc suite, started the update, but when it was finished the phone continuously gave "Unfortunately, Process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly" error.
I tried deleting phone.apk data through setting>apps, but as it made no difference I finally had to do a factory reset. After that I transfered my media from PC using PC Suite, but I found out all my memos are deleted. Trying to use "restore" function in PC Suite made no difference.
Is there any way I can at least access my memos in the backup files? I found their folder), but it's full of .enc files which I cannot open.
Or, because Memos were regulary synced with my google account to access them there?
It would mean much to me.

Doesn't look like it. enc denotes encryption and they can't be accessed.
You can try posting in G2 Q/A section to see if they have better solution. You will need to sign up on forums for that.

Hello,
I received a so called "Lenovo K3" that turned out to be a clone... trying to get rid of some annoying Chinese apps, I used Uninstaller app. I accidentally froze a system app and found out I cannot unfreeze it without purchasing the PRO ver... The thing is ever since that I cannot install any new apps (I get ERROR 110) or even copy it to the system folder....
Another stupid thing I did was to restore it to "Factory Settings" changing nothing of the problem but loosing all of my already installed apps!!!!
I did that after trying to follow a procedure by someone who apparently had same situation, he resolved it by rebooting into recovery using ADB and then copying the "DefaultContainerService.apk" to the System/app folder
I manged to use ADB but once the phone booted into recovery mode, I lost connection (USB) and nothing I did helped.
SO-
I have a Chinese phone not sure if the CPU is MTK 6589 or 6582 , 512MB , 960*540 ( I remember the details from when I had an info app)
I cannot install anything (Error 110)
I cannot connect using ADB while in recovery mode
I cannot copy to System folder (Permissions)
I have no idea which ROM I can use to flash it and I was not able to connect to it when it is OFF (Only when running)
I have no apps on it except some basic apps
I think it is still rooted if Factory reset did not change that
Mmmmmm any ideas???

Is there a way to get system configuration using ADB?
Since no one answers, guess my only way out is to flash.. and since it is a clone with fake specs, I must know exact configuration so I can find a suitable rom, right?

can you please help me? I have seen some other user with the same problem; but I have Zenfone 2 ZE551ML.
Bought this phone 2 weeks ago; just configured emails and copy contacts through bluetooth.
Installed whatsapp and cannot configured it al because the popups start appearing and cannot do anything else on the phone: whatsapp tryes to read/write contacts.
My phone information:
Asus_Z00A-2.14.40.19
Also the icon that says System updating does not worked; gives error that DMClient was interrupted.
I tried to update firmware following this on asus site support/faq/1009748...and nothing happened.
Please help!!!!
