Got this wonderful idea from @open1your1eyes0 in the Verizon thread so I figured I'd post it over here.
The other bounty thread was almost dead, this one is explicit and serious (and for the new firmware), you are asked NOT to make a pledge and then not pay when and/or if these methods become known.
Bounty Details:
As I'm sure you all know already AT&T released an update on July, 9 2013 with the build number UCUAMF3. This update blocked the motochopper exploit and Loki exploit.Samsung / AT&T blew a QFUSE when they sent the update to our devices.
This means you cannot downgrade from MF3 as the device will not accept it as the monotonic counter went up and cannot go backwards from this point. There would need to be some different kind of exploit to allow a custom recovery to be ran on MF3. If you change the boot loader in any way you the device will NOT accept it and you may be met with a hard brick. (Thanks @Aou)
This thread is a last cause to speak to get each and every developer and 'mastermind' to become Very encouraged to either unlock our devices permanently or Root and allow us to use custom recoveries just like the LOKI method did.

I do not need to unlock or re-root - I did not run the recent update and I remain happily rooted - but in the interests of helping future S4 owners and as form of protection for me if something happens and I have to replace my phone with a new one or something - I am willing to donate $50 each - one for Rooting and another $50 for a Bootloader unlock/exploit for a total contribution of $100.
It will be a happy day when I have to "write that check".

Anyone S ON try this and did your sd card work afterward? And don't get pissed for me asking but does anyone have a link to a STOCK ROM? I just know with my luck I'd end up flashing the wrong one and then wonder why this method didn't work to get my S OFF lol.

It could work, but i always tell users to go bone stock all the way, that way if anything happens there are no hard feelings

Now some will say you dont have to. I did it for a couple reasons. 1 i wanted to see it all the way through so i could help others, and the second is so i could test to see if i would have more signal on ICS Sense 4.0 which it did help.

Currently no, bear in mind that the Japan version of this phone was released before all other markets and we have not yet had time to examine any of the international variants.

don't think it's a leak but stock ruu for tw and hk have a link in the forum, I believe, but it is labeled ics in ruu download, havn't tried to use it yet

edit It's gotta be an old ruu i'm on hboot 1.40 and that one on the site(i'm guessing from the ruu) is 1.17, no luck
I think I've aquired the leaked ruu for asia wwe x920d, currently downloading will post in 46min if all goes well (got it on tw site, but they are having error with cid)(they think they need to super cid to use it) and it has a zip extention, but looks the right size and name

edit here is that guys fix i checked the md5 sum, it matched, used zip 2 fix to fix corruption. He said he used the file successfully by renaming the .zip file to PL99IMG.zip and relocking his bootloader and copying to sd and rebooting here is the fixed .zip

This App doesn't use any native code, so unless I'm missing understanding something it should run all Android devices.
The application says it cannot gain root access. My device IS rooted. What am I suppose to do?

Check your SuperUser application, you may not have not have granted the application permission to use root.
If you have done so, please advise what SuperUser tool you are using.
i also cannot gain root access even though i am rooted, i am using SuperSU v1.25
*update* i installed the one that u recommend superuser 1.0.1.7 and it still doesn't work, it shows that its been give permissions but then shows that it couldn't gain access

Sorry to here you are having trouble guys, I'll try and debug it. The 5 devices I have tested it on have worked.

For all who have the no root issue, please try downloading the Test Version (v1.1.1 Beta) It is also in the OP.

#Filename differs per firmware, get MotoRoot-1-att.apk for AT&T, MotoRoot-1-vzw.apk for Verizon, etc the -r paramenter is required if installing with adb

Run MotoRoot app
Press Setup
Install Supersu app
Phone will reboot, and you will be rooted as soon as device is fully booted.
Limitations:

I tried to but I can't find the db entry for entitlement_check... any ideas on where motorola could have hidden it differently?
What are the differences between the Verizon and us cellular versions of the x and could this possibly be used for root of XT1055? I know I'm unlockable, but can't kill my warranty just yet.

Yes. You have to unlock your bootloader first prior to rooting but you'll have to pay to have your bootloader unlocked since it's T-mo branded. Here's a link to the forum explaining it:

Let me preface my response with: This is JUST MY OPINION: Just my thoughts/feelings on this
But I wish the Title of this thread stated all the "fyi" stuff. Like if the thread were labeled:
"ROM for T867U when you pay 100-200 for some random dude to "root" your tab, then you can install this Stock Rom with some mods"

A title isn't supposed to be a detailed description. This thread was created off the assumption/pre requisite that you already have an unlocked bootloader, hence the OP. You asked a question, so I provided an option to your dilemma. I did say in my previous post that you have to pay. If you are skeptical on paying for an unlock token, he is a reputable dev. XDA wouldn't just allow some random person to offer a service like this. And if this was false advertisement, the thread would have ceased to exist. And yes, it's quite unfortunate that we have to pay for our Snapdragon devices to be unlocked after all these years of relying on the hard work of devs to exploit, but it's better than being completely locked down. But you yourself can become the change you want to see and find an exploit if this irks you that much. If not, at least be grateful you have a possibility. But enough of this. I don't wish to hijack the thread

Hello. I would like to try this stock ROM Based on T867USQS5CUG1
I have already swapped my firmware from T867V to T867U on boot loader version 5. I did not unlock the bootloader yet.
Seeing as this custom stock ROM is on the same boot loader version 5 would I be able to Flash it via Odin without unlocking the bootloader?

I see that there may be in incorrect reference to the fact that SAMPWND may NOT be offering the unlocked BL on their site for the T867U... at least none that I can see. I have put out a question to the dev on this.

Thanks for all your work on this. It's funny because there doesn't seem to be much work in this device and most searches bring up Tab S6 Lite.
I've flashed way back but since being on Pixels I hadn't seen any reason to.
T-Mobile locks suck but you suggested they're possible after unlocked BL, are you able to point me in the right direction for Sim unlock? The hardware is nice it's just a shame it's locked and has so much bloat.
