[Q] Need opinions on a good case - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

I have the garnet red Galaxy S3 and am needing you guys' opinion of a protective case that would look good on it and protect it effectively.
I'm also really trying to keep it the least amount of bulky that I possibly can.
Any opinions on a good looking, slim and safe case for it would be greatly appreciated!

[Q] What case should I buy?!

hey,
I'm thinking buying a case for my SGS.
I have some case on my mind and I hope maybe someone can help me decide which one I should get. If you how much thickness the case would add to the phone and if it provides a good protect to the phone.
the cases are:
1) SGP Case ULTRA SILKE
2) Case-mate Tough Case
3) Tuff-Luv Slim&Lite Silicone skin case
4) PDair Luxury Silicone Case
thanks.
none of the above
well maybe the tough case
but you can get non bran name tough case on ebay for way less
after trying out many cases, i still like the Mesh Case from Korea better good quality build, and looks amazing on the phone
they have a metal look to it, even though it's hybrid plastic/rubber
i have a tough case at home, it's collecting dust, it doesn't look good on the phone
but it does protect the phone if that is what you want
but if you prefer better looks then the Korean have better choices
I recently got the tough case from case mate and it's pretty awesome. It's great because I know that my phone will be protected if I drop it. I'm not a big fan of the silicon cases simply that you won't get much protection from them if you drop your phone..
My only gripe about the tough case is that it does add a bit of bulk to the phone and makes it a bit more difficult to carry in your pocket. That's the trade off for drop protection though

Hardcase or silicone?

Hey guys!
Which cover does your smartphone wear?
I can not deside if its gonna be a hardcase or a silicone case...
What do you think?
I have found some nice ones on lux-case . com but i can post them here....
--
To me, the silicone ones make the phone look and feel cheap. My preference is for the 'Casemate Barely There' hard cover. It adds hardly anything to the size/weight of the phone, and actually improves the feel of my Galaxy S (which can feel a bit plastic-y without the cover).
Okay thanks !
at luxcase.com i did find some of wood, pure wood, what you think of that???
Regards
If it's made of wood, it would have to be pretty heavy to provide much protection! I don't think I'd like wood for a high tech bit of kit like a smartphone, but it's purely down to individual preference...
Silicon case don't look good but are very light and usefull. It literally saved one of my phones

Wall Charger & Case Recommendation?

So guys, I need a new s4 wall charger because the previous owner lost it... and I was hoping to buy a slim but functional s4 case.
Before I get flamed....Yes, I searched the forum. All I got was, there are a lot of FAKE oem chargers out there.
I want to get a 2 Amp charger with a quality usb cable that does 1900mA charging for the S4 (that is stock charging right)?
Would I be better off just buying the Amazon Basic 2 amp charger & USB for $15 or is there better/cheaper alternatives out there?
As far as cases goes, I know it is all personal preference but I was hoping you guys could recommend a slim case (love the no case feeling). I have my eyes on the Spigen Ultra Thin Air... Is there anything better?
Thanks in advance Guys!
Some good info here:

I would say the UAG case rates up there with the slimmest of cases without sacrificing protection.

Asked about cases too
Edit:
Ah, you edited your post a second before I quoted you. For clarification,
just so others know why I quoted your post, your original comment was:
"***************
thread is about wall chargers?"
thanks for putting me on front street lol

if you're interested in cases like the spigen ultra thin air, i would highly recommend the elago slim fit case g7. it feels better in the hand and the cuts feel better. (i have the rearth ringke slim, spigen ultra thin air, spigen ultra fit, and the elago.) there are a lot of slimmer cases available, like a 3mm case, but the majority of them have cuts that make it hard to press the power button and the volume buttons (my guess is because they're working with such thin material, they can't afford to make the cuts any bigger).
i hope that helps.

This is what I was looking for!
I'll definitely check the Elago G7 out :good:

Thinnest case you've seen for the S4?

I'm looking for a new case. Recently had the Spigen Neo Hybrid. Amazing case until the back TPU started to get dirty really easily.
Anyways, just wanted to ask what the thinnest cases any of you have seen around is?
After I cracked my screen I started using the phone with no case and omiglawb it feels so much better, But to rock a phone without a case is dangerous so I figured I'd get a case, but this time something really, really thin so it doesn't add much bulk to the body.
Any input is appreciated, fellas.
Whoops, double post. Mods please delete.

Best rugged case for the 10.6?

I'm notoriously bad about dropping mobile devices, so I'm looking for a good rugged case that doesn't add too much bulk to the tablet. Does anyone have any recommendations?
Edit: Oops, that should be for the 10.5, not the 10.6!
I went for this one and although it weighs 290g I'm confident it's strong enough to protect from drops and other than the weight I wouldn't describe it as bulky:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00N46ACUA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Also unless you buy one made of carbon fibre (£££££) you will of course add some size to the tablet regardless of which case you go for, it's a trade off between protection and dimensions.

I definitely expect a protective case to add a little bulk, but the Otterbox for this tablet is just WAY too bulky.
I think I found the case you referred to on the US Amazon site at http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00N46ACUA/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A2IHZFOHOQ0WG8. When I was looking for that, I also found this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00L2N58BA/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A2IHZFOHOQ0WG8. Would you recommend one over the other?
I've also been looking at this case: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LEY95HU...lid=2CCEFOTVC1FPB&coliid=I3S2LVSVANEW8G&psc=1, but I'm not sure if a silicone-only case will give me the protection I need, and I prefer one that has a cover/stand.
Opinions?

I think the only difference between them is the colour used and the fact the stand can sit the tab in portrait but the materials look the same.
Yeah that third one doesn't have a stand which was something I wanted also it doesn't cover the screen so dust etc. will get onto it plus I reckon the case I have could potentially protect against a small amount of liquid.
Also that case looks like it'll feel quite clunky in your hand.
Best thing to do is order one then return it if you're not happy.
good protection
which one did you finally buy?
I'm also looking for a good rugged case for my wife's Galaxy Tab S 8.4. We bough a toughbook and she still managed to get a crack on its side.... She's dropped her tablet and the screen never came back on. It was even protected by the EXO rugged hybrid armor case, AND it was in her purse. It just slipped off of her winter coat on to the ground, and that was the end. So we're getting it fixed, but need a heavy duty case. If any suggestions on what you did buy, it would be appreciated.
I am looking for some rugged skins for use in the car the ones i found were:

Leave you looked at the Supcase Unicorn Beetle?

The most rugged case I found is the BobjGear Rugged Case for the Tab-S, plus it has cooling because the tab-s runs warm.
Lots of drops from my grandchildren, even down a flight of 13 wooden stairs, and no problems. And it is not expensive either.
