[Q] Back to ICS Leak #1 - Motorola Atrix 2

Hi guys, I was ony ICS Leak #1, then flashed MIUIv4.0.4 for ATT&T. It worked great for almost an year. Yesterday I accidentaly wiped my data/factory reset, so after that I tried another rom on my 1st system, it didn't boot so I went back to MIUI but I'm getting FC all the time. How can I get back to ICS Leak #1 so I can flash MIUIv4 again?
#2) What JB Rom would you recommend if I want the most close to Stock JB experience?
Thank you for your time!

Fit Running Slow with Force Close Errors on all Apps.

Hello Sir.. Here's my problem..
I purchased Galaxy Fit GT-S5670 about 6 months ago, the phone was working very fine.. but 2 months ago, I started installing Custom roms and Rooted Applications, since then my phone started behaving abnormally.. Phone Running Very Slow, often Force Close Errors on Even Stock Rom.. Even the Basic Stock Rom's Processes shows Force Close Errors..
I had my phone serviced a month ago & got the Motherboard replaced... But Even after that the problem is still residing..
I very carefully followed all the instructions for installing custom roms eg.1. USB Debugging ON.. 2. Wipe User Data/Cache/Dalvik Cache/System before and after installing the Custom Rom..
But When i Flashed back to Stock Rom 2.3.6 GB via ODIN, the problem persisted... CM7 Stable by TJ Sir was working very fine and Fast but the Camera was not working in that & CM7 Stable ICS by JANA Rom so I flashed the Creed's Rom v4 and CM7 Stable ICS by JANA, the camera works on Creeds Rom v4 and Stock ROM but the Problem started again...
One More thing when i flash Stock Rom, I always stuck at Boot loops during Ist Flash, then I'll have to enter recovery and Wipe all data/cache and Re-flash Stock Rom via ODIN 2nd Time to resolve that Boot Loop problem, even i always Wipe all the data and cache before installing Custom or Stock Rom..
Any Help will be greatly appreciated.. !!!
Thanks in advance..
since you have not mentioned ..I think while flashing cm based rom after a stock based one you do not wipe system.you also need to wipe system .hope it helps

Help needed with new jelly bean update.

Hi guys im new to this stuff so please bare with me.
I was previously rooted on 4.0.4 and then the new update 4.1 came out so, i odin the official firmware so im now not rooted and on jelly 4.1.
My problem is its seems abit laggy and freezes now and then (maybe the update didnt install properly ?? and it just keeps searching when i go to software update and also my device status now says custom.
Is there away to either re flash it to get rid of the custom and hopefully make it un laggy ? or can i downgrade ? i dont want to be rooted anymore, well i dont think i do for now haha
Any help is greatly appreciated
Well thats what most of us experience with the update but for some reason in few days in goes off
But it did not freeze.
The reason you see that is because the firmware you install did not belong to your region, my suggestion download the rom for your region do a complete wipe and install the rom
Thank you for quick reply.
I downloaded the UK version which is my region.
Shall i do a full factory reset then odin the update again ?
ive just did a full factory reset. i havnt reflashed but my status now say official so fingers crossed all is ok thank you
Install of JB 4.1.1 ROM
You did do multiple wipes of the system and the caches prior to loading the ROM right?
I installed the Stock 4.1.1 JB which was posted a few days ago and it went fine.

[Q] Custom firmware issues..

Howdy.
I've been using custom firmware since I got my phone over a year ago, but I'm now having big issues.
I tried to install a 4.2.2 ROM and couldn't boot, even after trying bunch of times, clearing cache, all that jazz..
So.. usually I would just put on another ROM or just restore from a backup, but I'm stuck in a weird situation.
I have a bunch of ROM backups (Clockwork Mod Recovery) going back to April last year, the 1st one is standard AT&T, then various custom ROMS (last one I used was Cynogen 10).
But I can only restore the first AT&T ROM, nothing else will restore. I also cannot even install any ROM the only way I can get a working phone is to go back to the horrible original AT&T ROM..
Clockwork mod recovery also crashes when I try to wipe cache, so think that maybe a clue....
Help!! I don't want to be stuck on AT&T ROM forever.... I miss Android 4.1 features
Thanks

What version of CWM are you on?
You can always restore to your AT&T backup, transfer all of your other backups to your external SD or computer, ODIN to stock, do a complete wipe of the phone, flash the most recent CWM from Sk8 and try again. I'd say that's your best case scenario.

I'm on 6.0.1.4 which I believe is latest. I can't even get the original ROM to restore now either. Ughhhh hope I'm not bricked.

[Q] Hung at "X" screen after upgrade to 4.2.2.

Hi, it's my first post here and unfortunately it's not a good one I updated to My Android 4.2 for Xoom Wi-Fi (20130217) and applied the Google Apps (20130221) update right after. When I try to boot, I get to the "X" screen and it just hangs. Not sure where to go from here factory default and try again? If I do factory I will have to reroot I presume and if so where did I go wrong or any suggestions next time around? Thanks!
which rom did you flash and did you do a full wipe before flashing it? If you did not do a full wipe boot into recovery do a full wipe nd then reflash the 4.2 rom and gapps. you should be good to go.

That did the trick! I used this rom: my_wingray-jb-mr1.1-20130217-signed.zip. Do you happen to know if I can get updates OTA or only from here?

Xoom officially is only at 4.1.2 and not sure if it will get the 4.2 OTA. With My Android you are at 4.2, so you are already ahead but, to answer your question. No, you wouldn't get the OTA if you are not on the stock ROM.

I didn't think so but figured it was worth asking. I am psyched to be at 4.2 mainly for the multiple user profiles but I am interested to check out the multi-display capabilities. too.

If you are on cyanogen mod(CM) then it is obvious that you have an unlocked bootloader and a custom recovery otherwise you won't have a custom ROM. You must backup your current ROM then do the following :
Wipe cache
Wipe dalvik cache
Factory reset
Flash your new ROM.
