Android PC Suites are very important tools if you wants to better operate your Android Smartphones and Tablets with your PC.
Without Android PC Suite, after connecting your Android Device to PC, you will only able to transfer data in your Device’s internal memory or the Storage card available inside the device.
But generally, we wants to do other more important things like Managing contacts, messages, upgrading bulk software, backup phone’s content, installing apps from PC, connecting to internet from Android devices etc.
For this, you need to install Android PC Suite on your computer that can help you in doing all these above mentioned tasks along with many other useful tasks.
MY SUBJECTIVE OPINION IS THE BEST ANDROID UNIVERSAL PC SUITE IS

[App][OSX/Windows] Wire 4 AirDroid

While working on that project, I read someone's complaint that AirDroid does not work over a USB cable. I know, that's kind of what the app's name would imply, right?
Anyway, AirDroid is awesome.
There are advantages to using AirDroid over a USB connection: for instance, it's much faster than a wireless connection and your data doesn't travel over your wireless network, and that's obviously safer.
So, I created this couple very basic tray/menu apps: one for OS X, one for Windows. Maybe one for Linux is your ask for it.
All it does it make AirDroid work over the USB cable.
Note that you will need to enable USB debugging on your device. Furthermore, on Windows, you will need to install your manufacturer's USB drivers.

Unfortunately, Bluetooth connections are very slow. I guess, with a rooted phone, it would be possible to install a network driver but again it would likely be extremely slow.
goooood job, I'll try later
Very nice idea. I can't make it running. The app works and it's in my taskbar but the browser can't open it. Is there any instruction how to run it? any options should I check in AirDroid?

Yes, I do. When I select "Open AirDroid" in Wire4Droid, it's open http://127.0.0.1:8888/ address in my browser but unable to open anything. I'm using Win7 64bit can it be the reason?
Ohohoho...nice idea!
Gonna try it out
Good idea! After installing Galaxy Nexus ToolKit on XP and its driver it tell me: device not detected
I have no idea whether it's supposed to work on XP
I love airdroid! Use it daily any kind of take on this app is cool with me!

same problem here.
I've got usb debugging active and when I tap "start" on airdroid it asks me if I want to connect throught wifi or usb thetering.
I thought usb thetering must be active too, and when I switch it on, your application ask me to unplug and replug the phone, but nothing happens.
running windows 7 64bit professional with usb drivers for nexus s (i9023) working (even adb drivers).
any tip?
This has stop running since the new update of airdroid. Can you fix this problem.?

Victore88, thank you. Your post made me realize what's happening: indeed, recent versions of AirDroid stopped working over USB.
I sniffed AirDroid connections and no new port is being used, so I suspect AD stops listening on its local port after logging you in.
I sent an email to AirDroid's support; we will see if they can help.
Cheers

computers says "no" - when trying to download the osx version.
...I'm seriously dumb.
OK, fixed.
Cool idea, but as I understand it, perhaps a little misguided in the approach.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but your target is work/school computers, right? I mean, for your home computer, why not just use WiFi? It's easier, which is why AirDroid went that way. But you want USB access for those computers where you can't get on the WiFi network, and/or you don't trust the air for security purposes.
I think you should make a browser extension for both Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. This way, people can use it with Firefox Portable and Chrome Portable from PortableApps.com and similar sites. If a browser extension can't access the system like that (I'm sure they can: both browsers have some kind of IE extension where they put IE's engine in one or more tabs) maybe a standalone portable app, either in PortableApps' open standard or in old-school single-.exe format (maybe with a .ini in the same directory).

Looks and serves the same as Moborobo.
Is there any way to copy our phone's /system to our PC?
Any web version (ala AirDroid) or Ubuntu native client?
This App is simply beautiful. Manage your android phone easily.
Is there any linux version (Ubuntu)?
There's hardly any application that does the same on linux.

No Prob if your Phone is rooted
Can this work over wifi?
also is it possible to send and receive whatsapp messages?
is it a copy of MOBOROBO or they have copied ur app?...looks good. good work.
Testing this out and so far so good. Few things i would look this app to have are..
1. Ability to sync outlook calender to phone calender.
2.Can this software check for update and provide the download link? it will be a pain to check this thread just to see if there is any update
3. Also i just noted that i am unable to send msg..
This sounds like 'MyPhoneExplorer' on steroids. I REALLY hope it is - I've been waiting for a MPE replacement for years now.
tested on SG3 and SGN2
works like a charm, especially compared to Kies, thanks!!
Differents with Airdroid
Hey Guys
The app looks nice. But what is the differents with Airdroid app?
Awesome work BRO will definitely try it. Cheers :good:.
As soon I connect my phone on USB, app crashes.
Mine has been "Connecting" for about 5 minutes. I'm running stock rooted Evo 3D (yeah, I know) and I wonder if it has something to do with the "how to connect to the PC" options that come up when I plug my phone in.
Could someone provide in gdocs or mega?
Here the dev-host is blocked.

how could you not see it? at a glance:
1. airdroid run on phone. this app run on windows
2. airdroid is access via browser, this app is use to access the phone directly
3. nothing extra is running on phone. airdroid keep popping up in background wasting RAM and CPU even when its service is off
additional after install: airdroid is working. this app is not working. not on my garmin asus a10, not on my sensation, not on my s3, not from my laptop, not from my desktop. all together 6 combination was tried.
Stuck on "Connect Phone"
As feedback:
The SW is stuck on "Connect Phone" with my HTC One X with enabled debugging.
The phone's parameters are:
Android 4.1.1 (compilation 3.20.401.1)
Kernel: 3.1.10-g03b5369
ROOT: yes
I also checked with Motorola Defy (Android 2.3.5) and it works OK.
Thanks you for all the efforts!

Our application fails to support audio streaming via USB connection for the moment.
But you can make it via WiFi. You need to find out whether your phone supports Chromecast. If not, you can install Google Home on your phone. Activate our app first and run the process in the background. Launch the Google Home and you will hear the sound.

Windows 10/11 explorer hangs can't import photos

Hello everyone, I've noticed that when I connect my galaxy s8 to my PC with the OEM original cable to my windows 10 and windows 11 desktop pc, the entire computer slows down and lags. Windows 10/11 explorer hangs and loads files/folders very slowly. Sometimes USB connection looses power and connection and no pictures show inside the android folder. When I disconnect the USB cable, then everything starts to function normally and windows 10/11 explorer speeds up and displays error messages that didn't either didn't show up before or were extremely slow to load. This leads to me assume there is something going on with android 9.0 and windows 10/11. Does anyone have suggestions or things we can try ? How can I resolve this ?
Thanks!!
thats not normal computer behavior. what are your computer specifications ? maybe that windows 10/11 is too much for it

I know its not normal and I've been trying to find a way to see a log or something of what the entire process is contributing to so much lag/overhang. I am currently using Dell optiplex 9020 small form factor with:
cpu Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4570 CPU @ 3.20GHz
gpu Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600
motherboard 0xcr8d
RAM 16 gb
Windows 11 Pro 21H2
OS build 22000.918
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22000.918.0
BIOS Dell A25

Maybe it's because windows 11 is still new. Missing drivers, not stable enough. On windows 10 I did not encounter such problems. See if there are updates pending. Or reinstall the drivers for your phone.

I have also tested it out on windows 10 enterprise with all updates installed, even everything from the microsoft store. Same problem
IMO ist's an USB problem.

But I've tried with 2 cables - one that is OEM and another that is a generic brand called Nupower that my cellphone service provider gave me when my original boxed USB cable that came inside the s8 box got worn out. Both of these cables have the same problem. After a while it seems like either the phone or the USB can't transmit or sustain stable connection after an hour or so
The tansfer speed isn't related to USB-cable used but to USB-version the USB-port supports.
BTW;
Windows Explorer doesn't transfer files between devices.
The main function of Windows Explorer is to provide a graphic interface to navigate the Windows computer's hard drive and display the contents of the sub folders and folders used to organize files on the hard disk. It also allows users to copy, move, delete, rename and generally perform tasks relating to those folders and files

so you are saying that its the USB port (either USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 SS on the back of the computer) that's incompatible with the OEM USB cable from samsung experience store?
