Notice:
The download is not for flashing into bootloader, you have to unzip it and take the stock_splash.img!
As there are many various tools and ways to flash a splash screen, i don't post a guide here how to flash. Only the image/picture, for those who need.
Only use it, if you know what you do and how to do!!!

here is my first splash screen yea!
just download the zip file there is a bmp file in there so extract it.
Grab this App here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=956434
then follow instructions to flash this splash screen. I used this method because the photo doesnt lose that much quality. I was using bootflash pro but it degrades my photo to much to use so oh well.

any idea where the settings are to edit this screen?
Struggling a bit pulling hair.
Its missing the android green/orange logo & and the font is screwed up. The files are in the framework-res.apk I just dont see why its not loading.
I created this splash scrren and thought that I'd share it with anybody else that may want it. To install copy the zip file to your SD Card, boot into any custom recovery and install it.

Pretty cool...but the S3 isn't part of the "Droid" family... Good work though!
my phone stuck on its own - i didn't try to flash anything or upgrade firmware

That's really hard to replace. On older phones you could do that, but I don't think that you can do that on new phones.
