[Q] Samsung Note 2 SGH- I317M drivers problem - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket SGH-I727

Hi guys,
I have a problem with Samsung Mobile device driver on Windows 7 64 for I317M phone . To use QPST program or Samsung Tools software with Z3X box I need to put phone into Modem Mode.In PDA mode it works as supposed to ( I see it in windows explorer and another applications ,I see opened port for it in device manager) .But when I switch into Modem mode, I have “drivers not installed correctly for the device”. In device manager I see in ”Other devices” 2 Qualcomm CDMA Technologies MSM devices with yellow exclamation signs on them and no ports installed. I am using Windows 7 64bit OS. I tried to to connect it on two computers and got the same result. What settings have to be changed on the phone or in computer to get it working in Modem mode and get access to the phone ? What drivers have to be instaed for Qualcomm CDMA Technologies MSM ? My phone is unlocked I317M, not rooted.
Thanks

This is the i727 forum. You should ask in the i317 forum. And post it in q&a.

[Q] Can't connect Inspire 4G to QPST

Hallo xda-developers users,
I have an Inspire 4G already rooted and ENG S-OFFed.
I'm trying to connect my device with the QPST tool because I'd like to view/modify NV parameters, but the device isn't recognized by the software.
My computer runs Windows 7 64 bit.
These are the steps I followed:
- install htc sync drivers and software;
- power on the device while holding volume+ key (this is what I think should put the device in diag mode);
- connect the device to USB port on the computer.
After doing that, I get a new device named "qualcomm cdma technologies msm", but Windows can't load its appropriate driver.
I found on another thread that I should install "windows mobile device center" and so I did, but nothing changed.
I've already searched various forums and installed several drivers, but couldn't come to a solution; can anyone point me to a tutorial explaining how to work with QPST with the Inspire 4G?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Cheers.

[Q] Working USB Drivers for Windows 7 x64?

Folks, I've just installed the 64-bit version of Windows 7, as well as the SAMSUNG Drivers for USB mobile phones, and my Samsung Galaxy SII Skyrocket is not being recognized on my computer.
Before I had the 32-bit version of Windows 7 installed with working drivers. My phone had a custom ROM (SKY ICS) and was used to develop apps through the Eclipse EE development suite.
Does anyone know what drivers have worked for them on the 64-bit version of Windows 7?

xcrazydx, that made zero difference.
I'd greatly appreciate feedback from anyone, specifically Windows 7 x64 users, who've had a working solution for their Samsung Skyrocket to be recognized on their machine. I've searched through Google and came up with little results.
I had Windows 7 32-bit running on my machine for years up until yesterday. Since that time, I had installed working samsung drivers for my phone when it was first released, developed applications and executed them through my phone via USB, and was even able to install the leaked ICS OS, root it, and install a custom ROM.
Here are the drivers that worked for me when I was still on Windows 7 32-bit:
http://hotfile.com/dl/141326918/ca68c7d/Samsung_USB_Driver_for_Mobile_Phones_v1_3_2200_0.exe.html
These drivers no longer work and most of the solutions I've searched through Google aren't working either. One thing I notice now is that the USB logo doesn't appear on the top-left of my phone's screen when I plug it to my computer, even though it begins to charge.
Has anyone had this problem and was able to resolve it?
I have that OS and it works fine

Hah, so even though I've been rebooting my computer I've forgotten to reboot my phone.
Did that, as well as re-enabled debugging mode on my phone. . . and we're back in business!
Thanks for the help.
Very nice!

i am running Windows 7 x64 with the same drivers mentioned above installed and my computer sees my phone through USB and both sd cards properly every time.

[Q] No USB Serial COM port in Win 7

Hello world,
I've got two phones (HTC Desire 601 running Android 4.2.2, and a MOTO X running Android 4.4.2) that I'm trying to use with a data collection software which communicates with the phone via COM ports using the USB Serial connection (Win 7 x64). The trouble is that neither phone shows up under the Ports (COM & LPT) section in the device manager. Both phones populate to other locations in device manager (Portable Devices, Android Device) and I am able to use Windows explorer to access files on both phones.
I've got USB debugging turned on on both phones. I've installed the latest drivers, uninstalled and reinstalled, and even tried some older Android USB drivers to no avail. I'm using HTC Sync Manager 2.4.36.0 (latest I believe), and an unnumbered Motorola Device Manager (at least none that I could find).
I've called HTC and Motorola but the support people weren't any help.
Any insights or help would be greatly appreciated.
It's also perfectly fine if the answer is no that doesn't work stop being silly.
Thanks to all!
Parker

I have successfully used other phones (LG AS780 and Galaxy S3) on this computer, but not other of these phones. I also tried these phones (HTC and Moto) on a second laptop and had the same issue.

[Q] how to enable debug mode

Dear Forum members
I am new to the world of andriod , i have recently got Xiaomi Mi4i , which i understand is a qualcomm chipset device.
I would like to use the QPST tool to see the settings on the phone. I am using win64 8.1, The issue i have is that when i enable the usb debugging mode, i see in device manager a non-recognised USB, they are no drivers for the device.
Is there any qualcomm drivers for the device which i can connect.
