Okay so I've tried everything, Ive used the fastboot loader for flashing the recovery and bootloader but cannot get into recovery. What's weird is this all started after recovering my phone from the official LG updater, I didn't know the official ROM even had fastboot.
Anybody has this issue? Really need to fix it.. about a week without my phone isn't good..
Really getting desperate and so far no help this is a serious issue, usually when using the Recover phone in LG updater you expect it to put it back to the way you got it, not install some stupid fastboot stuck version. Also I recovered it 3 times from the LG tool all the same thing.
Flash ICS with LG Flash Tool to reinstall everything fresh. That's what I would do, anyway... Updater tool needs to be banished.

WKPark bootloader is installed by Fastboot, so no idea what is going on there.

Hey guys,
I've been using this website as reference for years but never had an issue I hadn't already seen asked.
I've been looking for weeks for a solution to this and haven't found anything.
I tried to flash cm10.1 over my stock 4.1.2 and corrupted the system.
It was booting directly to AP Fastboot and showing an error about not calling the ROM properly.
I tried reflashing using RSD Light 5.7 but every time it tried to flash the system it said the phone returned failed.
So I upgraded RSD to v6.1 and tried again. This time the phone says it flashed properly but it freezes during the droid boot logo.
I've tried using the utility and it gives me the same results.
I can get into factory recovery and I've performed several hard resets. But the phone still freezes whenever it tries to load the system.
I'm using a Motorola Factory Cable on a high speed USB port.
Any ideas why I'm stuck in a soft brick that I can't flash out of?

Format system via any of the custom recoveries before flashing your new ROM - this will wipe out any leftover problems completely & should let you start 100% fresh with a new ROM.

I lost my root when I originally got stuck in fastboot. And I can't boot up the phone until I can get it fixed.

Can you get back into fastboot now? If so
Use fastboot to flash a custom recovery (CWM, TWRP or OUDHS)
use the recovery to factory reset, wipe cache/dalvic, AND format system (sometimes in the advanced menu)
then flash rom of your choice.
If you can't get fastboot working you'll need smarter help than I can give you... but the format system step clears out all kinds of gremlins.
I can get into fast boot but I don't have an unlocked boot loader to flash anything custom.

Had the same problem after a fastboot via the utility. Try powering your phone down completely and leaving it off for about 5-10 min. This can be tricky with the hardware buttons so if you have access to TWRP that will help as it has a power off option. You might also try flashing again via the utility. I believe that's what I had to do, but the power down method is what a friend suggested based of his experience with the same exact problem you documented.
FIXED!!!
OK first I want to thank everybody who responded. I got tied up with work and kind of forgot about this project for a few days.
Repeated uses of the Utility and RSD both left me stuck with the phone freezing every time it tried to load the system into memory.
I had checked out the toolbox before but I didn't think I could do much from a locked bootloader.
After your suggestion jmcdonald I tried it again. It says my device isn't available to be unlocked so I tried downgrading back to ICS.
The toolbox says that it failed but it must have fixed something because the phone booted back up to android 4.1.2 stock!
So far I have bricked a lot of phones and learned a lot about ADB in the process of fixing them but I've never had one I was so certain was bricked permanently. But now it seems to be working fine, I'm scared to try rebooting in now.
Definatly going to unlock the bootloader pronto.
Thanks again jmcdonald!
Hello I hope someone could help me.
I have an lg g3 D855 international version, with kit kat 4.4.2 and its the 10e version.
I've root my device in order to install new custom rooms. At first I wanted to go to android marshmallow official and wanted to do the flashing with lg flash tool, but in every computer I have, it does not working, its either stuck in 2% and then it fails, or 4% and then it fails, and I tried to erase an install the new drivers and the old ones in the computer... But I couldn't get it to work. So I decided to root my device, and install twrp recovery, so I did. First I try to install the latest version of twrp, this I did it directly from the phone via TWRP manager. It was supose to work... But when I finish installing and went to recovery.. It went to a black screen saying "[700] fastboot mode started" or sometimes "[760] fastboot mode started" to my surprise the phone is not softbrick. I removed the battery and then reboot the phone and it works... But everytime I go to recovery or tried to install a new bump recovery... Because i thought that was the problem is still the same. I tried to install a new recovery with ADB but when I put the file path in order to install it... It said it couldn't find the recovery img in the path... But it was there... And I tried, but couldn't get it to work. I have some experience with custom roms on samsung galaxy s3, but change my phone, and this lg g3 is really making me crazy.
Thank you very much in advanced.

G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Hi my phone came with 4.4.2 V100R001C00B119 and i tried some things and ended up with bricked device.
The only thing that is working is TWRP recovery, i tried lots of stuff even flashing full room over fastboot img by img but no luck.
Currently phone can go into fastboot and there i can flash TWRP, and thats it. Bootloader is unlocked. It just shows huawei logo and rebots and its like that for last 3h.
So from what i discovered i need to flash recovery that was originaly there when i took the phone to play with, but its just that it is impossibile to find this firmware out there.
Any help will be much appreciated.
Thanks
Alex

Easiest would be to get access to a windows PC and user the nrt app to flash a stock rom.
Hello all, this is my first post so I apologize if anything isn't right.
I recently flashed my Mate 9 to stock Nougat B19x through a method I found on this site and then decided I wanted root. Bootloader was already unlocked so I flashed TWRP and then tried to flash a couple different root methods that all failed... So I factory reset through TWRP and tried again but they still failed so on the initial boot everything worked except the screen was blank except for the soft keys. I rebooted and the same again so I put it in fastboot and tried to re-install Nougat through the same method that worked before. It went through the whole process seemingly fine and finished with 'Update should start automatically' but then the phone boot into error mode. I've looked through everything I can find here and done everything I can think of myself but nothing has worked. I can boot into to fasboot but nothing else, not even after flashing any recoveries or stock images extracted from UPDATE.app.
Func no is 14 and error no is 1.
It's a MHA-L09 and I really need to fix it as I can't really afford anything else right now. Any help would be really appreciated and I'm happy to add more info if I've missed anything.
Thanks guys!!!
BUMP
Sorry if it's not very concise, just really need help!
What commands are you using to flash the stock files?

Standard fastboot flash recovery/system/boot
Not sure if I'm flashing all the right files or if huawei needs different commands.
Follow this guide.

Thanks for your help. That's the one that I used in the first place but everytime I try again, TWRP either doesn't flash even though it says success or I can't get into recovery.
Everytime I try to access recovery using the hardware keys it boots to error mode so is there another way??
I've been looking into this some more and have found it could be a motherboard issue. Is this correct? And if so how much would that kind of repair cost and would it even be possible considering I've unlocked the bootloader?
Thanks again.
