Fuze LCD Displaying Incorrectly

Okay so I have an htc fuze laying around as my spare phone and I've been slowly making it nicer and nicer, I replaced the stock keypad with the touch pro variant, then due to some scratches on the screen I ordered a screen and lcd and everything seemed to go smoothly until I put the phone back together.. The screen displays solid color images perfectly and text is crystal clear but all the graphics, especially gradients look really pixelated and messed up. I don't think the lcd is messed up since the text displays perfect, but I checked all the connections over and over.. Any suggestions?? :/

Were you able to resolve this?
Sounds like you purchased a new LCD. If so have you tried the old one?
Unfortunately the old lcd looked like trash and got thrown away by my girlfriend so I guess I'll have to order another one if I can't get it to display correctly.. I checked all the connections so many times, I just don't see how it could be the lcd when text is still crystal clear..

3 Blue Spots

Hey,
I'm having this weird problem with my Touch Pro. I noticed it today, that my screen has three blue spots,,, I don't know what these spots are,,, Im thinking of dead pixels, but they are big.
any idea what caused this?
as soon as I have camera on my hand, I will show you the 3 blue spots,,,
I have the same problem, I got the phone like that off of ebay though, I'm guessing that its form pressing down too hard on the screen tho
A pic would be helpfull ...
Mine seems to have developed 2 of these. Kind of dull, faded spots, visible at certain angles when the screen is white?
I'm going with the "too much pressure on the screen" vote

[Q] Yellow Tint on Top of Screen

Does anyone else have a screen that has a slight yellow tint on the top? It's noticeably obvious if you are on an all white (or mostly) screen like the google website. It's not uniform with the entire screen as the middle to bottom would look white while the top would look yellowish white. I don't wanna bash but I'm really tired of HTC qc these days. I have not encountered a flawless G2 (returned 4 times) or myTouch 4G (returned 3 times). If it's not a really loose hinge, it's the dead pixels, dust under the screen, and now yellow tint on top of the screen. Not to mention the off-centered ffc which I don't really mind. I think I'm gonna go to HTC and ask for a replacement once enough time has passed production has settled down.
I had one like that, returned it and got one with dust under the screen =/

Yea it's always one defect or another with this phone. Getting tired of it.
Hi waiaung1,
Can you take a short photo for the yellow tint issue?

[Q] Sensation Screen advice?

I have an original sensation and love it. Today it fell from my pocket onto tiles. Which is was about a 32inch height. . . .didn't seem to serious. At first the only damage seemed a tiny 2mm chip spot on the casing which had exposed white. But then I saw my screen!! The top left hand corner had the back light looking a bit too strong from off screen. And even worse there were permanant speckles of black in an arc shape around that corner of the screen. Then I tried rubbing it a bit and squeezing the back and slightly seperating it as I taught the fall may have changed the spacing. and at first it seemed to help maybe a little. But now there is a small section of my screen at the corner which is always black and I don't think the bacjlight is on their . The touch screen still works all over though and their are no cracks.
Anyone know what's wrong? What I can do to fix it? Any help greatly appreciated
Broken screen. Most probably the digitizer is ok. Go to a HTC repair shop, if you still have warranty

Thanks for the reply but surprisingly and miraculously its fixed itself over the last couple days
. It only went back to fully looking normal in the past few hours. Backlight is still a bit too bright in that area and some damage comes back if the are is hit or pressed.
So there is still some damage but 98% of the time it looks perfect and its fully working. So anyone reading this bear in mind not to be too hasty about taking your phone apart and replacing stuff where the screen is concerned.

[Q] HTC One X directfix screen contrast too high

I just purchased this screen:
directfix.com/product/XX2544.html
After replacing my old one, I noticed the screen contrast is incredibly high, do you think this is a screen issue or improper installation?
having the same issue, driving me insane. any help?
Contrast too high
I recently shattered the screen on my HTC One X and had it replaced (the screen, not the whole handset). Now, like yours, the contrast is too high. Very poor in many, but oddly enough not all, apps. Text messages in particular look washed out. Adjusting the brightness doesn't help, just makes everything flatter
I had a go with the Screen Adjuster app, found via another thread. Looked promising but unfortunately it seems that its base line is where your screen is already at, so you can only decrease the contrast rather than increase it
I hope someone else can suggest a way of improving the contrast. It's not debilitating when using the phone, just irritating and not as good as my original screen.
Thanks
Same issue
I also replaced my screen and found the same issue, poor colors and high contrast as if there is a screen protection under the glass, any ideas?
Thanks!
Same here!
There should be some app/tweak to fix it?
Maybe Bravia engine?
Same Issue
Just got phone back from getting screen replaced and contrast is way too high! colours look terrible too, any suggestions to fix this yet?
Thanks
Problem solved...I think
I just got called back from the reseller and they say that there is a screen protection film between the display and the glass, as I suspected, I shall bring it back to the service and post here the result.

From what I read the one x LCD screen is fused to the digitizer so there shouldn't be anything between them that's removable

That is not true

No they are not fused. The LCD and the glass screen are just glued together.Youtube: watch?v=ceHw6mezG60. My guess is that the reseller has in storage only LCDs and gorila glass, and when somebody orders a whole screen they just stick them together and send it to you as a whole. And sometimes they just forget to remove LCD protection before sticking them together...at least this is what I think.
