Hello gays..
.how is it possible that in 2010 there is not an application to regulate and control, increase or decrease brightness, color and contrast on video in android or in mobile devices generally? how is it possible?..
I will give you an example: I'm watching Yamgo Tv or streaming video or watching youtube in generally on Desire and the quality of the video is very poor, dark and red. I couldn't find anything....While the Xperia X1 ,the Htc Diamond 2, the Sony C902 and the Htc Hero have a very good quality, sharp, the right brightness and the right color I cannot say the same thing for the Htc Desire. If there I was an application to control video the problem could be solved in a flash. What the developers are waiting for...instead of creating so many stupid applications and games most of the time useless you should develop something special and useful once and for all! Still waiting also for the App2 SD Card....that is another very important feature...otherwise what is the sense to get a 16 Gb or 32 gb Sd card...what for ???? Sometime android make me very angry!
I love my HTC Desire S.
Only problem I'm having is that camcorder is useless because it's almost impossible to record any videos without these glitches/freezes or whatever you want to call them. Here is an example of what I'm talking here:
youtube.com/watch?v=Ts5SS8a4GrA
You can see video stops at about 0:25 for a moment.
It was shot in high quality (800x480) not even in HD but same things happen when using any quality. It can occur many times in a single video depending on it's length. Preview screen (when you are recording video) doesn't show any freezes like this.
My microSD card is original that comes with the phone - 8GB ScanDisk Class4. I've tested it speed: ~5,5MB/s write and ~20MB/s read - so microSD write speed isn't the problem in my opinion.
Would like to get any help or advises because this annoys me very much.
Thanks.
Try to defragment the card and see if it works.
Usually class 2 cards give this problem.
Additionally try to free up some memory (ram) before running the camera app.
How do you defragment the card?
I would assume connect it to PC and defrag through that program, although would that put my data at risk?
Or can I defrag it through Android somehow?
Have the same problem when replaying every video I've ever recorded on the device and have done since I first had the device when originally using the sd card that came with the mobile
Now have a Brand new 32gb class 4 card still same problems
Fortunately I don't raker many pictures and even less videos

Hey guys,
I have a query about the file-size of apps from moving them from the internal storage to the USB storage. How come it increases in size?
For instance, take Angry Birds Star Wars
When it's in internal memory (Move to Phone) , it's 48mb
When it's in USB Storage, the total filesize is 51.18mb
That's not a big difference, sure.
But when I transfer small file-sizes, it increases big-time.
For instance, take Camera ZOOM FX Composites,
It's filesize on internal memory is only 368KB, but when I move it to USB storage, it increases to 2.07mb, that's a increase of almost 500% file-size. Can anyone explain why?
Thanks for your help guys
I watched various YouTube videos to optimize fingerprint recognition, and I noticed that my software uses 123 MB of memory, in the videos it is not even 1 MB (see pictures).
Is that the same with your A41? How can I reduce the used storage space ?

Custom rom
([emoji88]Cr Droid[emoji88])
But other Samsung A41 Users with the Stock Rom do not have this high storage use.
I am not familiar with Custom Rom and I do not want to lose the warranty.
Is there no other option for a solution ?
what apps let you record without a time limit?
I heard that with the stock android camera app the time limit for how long you can record is about 30min, even if you have a big SD Card.
And I heard that the max limit is 4GB but you can't get near it with the stock camera app (and I suppose SD cards won't generally be that big)..
But I would like to record for e.g. > 30min sometimes. So, does that 30min or some time limit exist and if so , what apps let you record for longer than the stock app, storage permitting?
Thanks

SD-cards are FAT32 formatted. On this filesystem the max filesize is 4GB.
@jwoegerbauer well whether you are on point or not, besides the 4GB file size limitation, I heard(though not a good source), that there is a 30min time limit that hits first. And that there are some apps that don't have this time limit. And i'm asking if this time limit exists and what apps don't have this time limit?
And actually, https://pocketnow.com/android-11-finally-lifts-the-4gb-file-size-limit-for-recording-videos-sort-of There is a 4GB Android limitation that has been lifted recently. (So, nothing to do with FAT32). I don't nkow if maybe an SD card can be formatted as other than FAT32 eg exFAT or NTFS., on Android..
They mention that the Open Camera app can shoot larger than 4GB (no doubt not on FAT32).
The suggestion then is maybe the stock camera app can't.
I suppose if the stock also has a 30min limitation, then the open camera app won't.

I notice that one of my videos is 1hr long so I think maybe there isn't a 30min limit!
Though my recording isn't 4K. I just read
"Only 4K video recording has time limit of 4 to 8 minutes(phone to phone varies) as it takes large amounts of storage space on your device and heats up the device to much greater extent. So to eradicate these two things, companies limit the video recording in 4K UHD in their devices. If you are recording in Full HD, 720p or other lower quality and have ample storage space in your phone to save those recordings then you can record as much as you want. "
@gardina
I only pointed out a technical fact. Nothing else.
If others know better, then be it.
BTW: I no longer participate this thread because I'm not interested in your issue at all.
