[Q] Move to USB Storage filesize - Nexus S Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys,
I have a query about the file-size of apps from moving them from the internal storage to the USB storage. How come it increases in size?
For instance, take Angry Birds Star Wars
When it's in internal memory (Move to Phone) , it's 48mb
When it's in USB Storage, the total filesize is 51.18mb
That's not a big difference, sure.
But when I transfer small file-sizes, it increases big-time.
For instance, take Camera ZOOM FX Composites,
It's filesize on internal memory is only 368KB, but when I move it to USB storage, it increases to 2.07mb, that's a increase of almost 500% file-size. Can anyone explain why?
Thanks for your help guys

Test internal storage speed?

Hi.
I know there are a lot of apps that can test your sd card speed, but is there an app that can benchmark your internal storage?

[Q] SD Card Works Slow - X10 Mini Pro

Hi everyone this is my first post lol
I have X10 Mini Pro phone upgraded to Android 2.1 and I bought a 4 GB SD card. It used to work really fast when I formatted it using phone's own SD format tool, (which I found to be formatted as FAT32 16K cluster size) however when accessing various pictures in Album or playing some SD card intensive games, the SD card stops responding and would show zero size in SD card properties. But now I have solved the problem by re-formatting SD card with FAT32 4096 bytes cluster size using my PC, but it works really slow, takes time to process thumbnails in Album or when recording video it records with few hiccups I tested my SD card for bad sectors on PC there were none and then speed tested using various apps on my PC which shows that when formatted as 16K cluster it performs like a class 4 SD card, and when formatted as 4096 bytes it performs like a class 2 SD card, half the speed that is
Can anybody guide me what filesystem and cluster size should I use, or any other solution? I just can't put aside this SD card since this 4 GB worth its size and it has no bad sectors

I had the same problem with MicroSDHC 8GB in Galaxy Mini and I used this to format: https://www.sdcard.org/consumers/formatter_3/...it solved all my problems. Hope this helps you too.

[Q] Pics on internal memory

Is it possible to force pics and videos to save automatically in internal memory

[Q] Burst Shot storage location

Is there any way to change the default storage location for "Burst Shot" pictures? By design I know it uses the internal storage because it is typically "faster" than SD cards, but I am running using a 64GB Class 10 SD card and think it would be plenty fast to handle Burst Shots.
Thanks.

( solved)I am looking for g2 camera that would put photos and videos on a storage otg

After watching video I can not tax the internal storage of 16 theoretical because I only have three gigabytes free, with effort, I opted for the otg but can not find cameras that do
Only one time only lapses ago but has given me joy as if this app can also have other choose to leave the location of files
Thank youconfused:
solved
install the camera snapdragon
and I can choose internal memory or USB OTG
ntfs not catch me but if exfat
