the front cam won't work in any cyano rom, you should try some of the custom stock roms from hexgore http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1690088
thanks for the fast reply.that was helpful.I wanted to know is there any support of firefox os for the htc chacha cause android sucks bandly on the device.i tried the simulator on my pc and it is like really smooth and light.Hope we get a port.

It's better that you stay in your current ROM, i mean your original ROM. because all of the CyanogenMod ROMs and other ROMs have a lot of problems. now some groups started to Compile a new KERNEL for chacha to solve this kind of problem. we hope that they can find a solution.

To me the best rom for this device is...the stock rom! because all customs rom have many bugs or lags (like the last 10.1). Unfortunately the stock rom has the famous memory problem...

Answer to your last question: a pre-rooted ROM is a custom ROM which already provide root access. If you're unfamiliar to the term root, you should do a little more reading before flashing a custom rom to your device.
Just ensure that you've read through many of the threads available to anyone on this forum, and you'll have a smooth sailing through the seas of custom ROMs.
Your IMEI number doesn't matter.
Try Endymion, it's probably the best (personal opinion) Sense based ROM in the development section.

Flinnys CM 11 alpha 3. Very fast and stable after my opinion. There are just some bugs with the camera(video) and bluetooth but check it out anyways.

My mother has a Desire S and is absolutely casual user, the only thing that is important is long battery life and that all features work (No ROMs with Camera bugs and so on pls)
She does not need Tablet Features and whatsoever.
Currently her phone runs MIUI 2.### which is a battery eater and quiet strange.
Do you have any ROM to suggest? Just a very stable, reliable Android with much battery life?

I am looking for am advice about a custom ROM with Sense.
What is the highest version of Android with the highest version of Sense available? The best would be: Sense 5.5 with Kit-kat I think.

To answer any of this you first need to know if it's a S3 or S4.
Because this determines which ROMs or recoverys you can flash.

CM10 would be your best bet then and you will need to fastboot the boot.img and TWRP is the best recovery to use.

I'll never understand the deal with CM.
Personally I dont like it at all. There seems to always be at least one important feature not working properly.
I go against the stream and say, if hes not used to android I think rooted stock with maybe a different kernel would be more than enough for him.
The only downside with stock rom is that it lacks features for the more advanced users (like the majority on this site ).
Other than that the stock is actually pretty damn good.
Its by far the best stock rom Ive encountered, but this is my first HTC device though (unless you count my old QTek 9100 )

Sorry to say this but it seems like you need to uppgrade to a better supported phone mate. I would suggest to use only english LANG with ajeeval ROM..

no custom roms(except ones based on stock) have a working front camera.
this rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2365533 is likely your best bet, but I have no idea about language support other than English.
Your second best choice would be this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2322072
and your third best choice would be this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1665828 but it has some major layout issues.
After that, I'd look at these ones: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1291232
or anything based on the stock rom.
Unfortunately this phone no longer has any support from HTC, or even the community, as it's rather outdated, and most(if not all) of the developers who were working on custom roms for the device have gotten new devices and are focusing their efforts there.
Your best bet is to get a better supported device, unfortunately.

Its best advised that you try ROMs which are available, as ROM experience vary from person to person try flashing them and see whts best suitable to u
