[Q] Contact groups question (Elelinux_Special_Edition_2.2.1_Final)

Hi Guys!
I am using the Elelinux_Special_Edition_2.2.1_Final updated 2010-12-13 on my HTC Hero. And I like it a lot! Many thanks! But I have some problem there:
I have just bought the launcherPro Plus. Trying it right now. I have a question though, the answer for which I cannot find myself. Please help!
I am struggling to find the contact groups! I have a lot of contacts and some of them I do not keep in my memory. For example I have a lot of contacts (which i would have put in the group "work"), the people whom I don't memorise because being a sound engineer I am working with these people once a month (sometimes more sometimes less). So, when I need to call one of these people, I would like to go to the "work" group of contacts and then there have a look at what I have and find the needed person there. Likewise I need some more groups which I will use the same way.
BUT...
I cannot find how to create a group! I know they exist because when I go to preferences (of my gmail account for example) there are things like: System group: Friends, System group: Family, etc.... But there is no tab in contacts screen. Also I don't find out how to assing an existing contact to a certain group.
Somebody knows how to do all that? Please help!
Thanks!

I need help moving a convirsation, very impotrant

Hey guys I have conversation with another person on my HD7 , I really need to copy the conversation to my galaxy, pleaaseeee help its very important, is there are anyway to copy a conversation from HTC HD7 to Android, or print it ?
Why is it so important that you need to retain copies? Should start using email
Unfortunately no there is no way of moving/backingup your text conversations on wp7 right now. You could make a new document and copy/paste the whole thing if you need a copy for some reason. Or just transcribe it in a word document ect on your computer.
The best way, at the moment at least, is to individually copy/paste each message into a OneNote or Word document in Office.
the important this is I need to show the number of the sender, any ideas ?
there is a discussion here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1072796
about extracting SMS messages from WP7.
But as far as moving them from one device to another, I don't think that is currently possible. If this is for "evidence" like it sounds, the service provider can get you this information, but they are usually resistant to doing so without a court order.
any other ideas guys ?

Whatsapp block unknown contact messages

Hello guys. I've been looking around here on the Forum, for similar thread but didn't find anything.
Could you please tell me, is there a way to block receiving messages/calls from unknown contacts on Whatsapp?
I had been harassed last days (scamming/fishing) and is not a solution block contacts one by one.
Is there any external app that might do the job and help me and other users?
Thanks a lot, keep safe
FB, WhatsApp, etc are malware. Ditch them before they goof up your life.
Never let this type of app run on a device. If you use a social media site connect through the browser only. Social media sites that require their app be loaded to be functional like FB need to be treated like the trashware they are.

Whatsapp Web after transitioning to new phone

Hi I posted the same message to Whatsapp support but I think that this forum might provide a faster and better answer.
I suffered a broken phone and set up Whatsapp on a new phone a few days later. I set up Whatsapp fresh on the new phone without restoring a backup. In the few days before the new phone arrived I used Whatsapp web to communicate (the new version that doesn't require a phone to be online). Now after setting up Whatsapp on the new phone, when visiting the Whatsapp web site, it shows the unpaired/unconnected state with the barcode. Is it possible to extract the messages previously stored in Whatsapp web or did it throw away all data the moment it realized a new phone account was set up?
Also, I'm a (non-Android) dev, so this is also interesting to me from a technical perspective. Does Whatsapp web store messages in local storage or only the encryption keys (and the encrypted messages stay on the server)?
Thanks
