[Q] I have root but can not accept root access for new apps.

I rooted my phone back on ICS and when I updated to Jelly Bean, I used root keeper and restored the root. Voodoo rootkeeper says that I my device is rooted. My titanium backup shows that I have root and the program works perfectly Lightlow has root and works perfectly. The problem is that I can not grant root permissions to other applications. Superuser is installed, but shows outdated binaries.. I tried to update them but it says no root. Rootchecker also says that I do not have root. What I dont get is that the programs I already granted root access still work but I cant add more. Any ideas on what is going on? Thanks!

Install process went through smoothly. and i see superuser icon.
but when i installed titanium backup, It is complaining about no root privileges.
Any help in resolving this?.
Checking privileges?
Have you checked using the SU app if you have the root privileges? My SU app also asked me if it should turn of KNOX - before KNOX canceled some actions of apps having root privileges granted by SU. I used rootchecker to check if rooting worked. When I am starting an app that needs root privileges SU pops up and asked if it should give this app root privileges. So first you need to check if your device has been successfully rooted.

I think you haven't installed USB DRIVERS properly
Here is solution:
Download update.zip from attachment then add it to INTERNAL MEMORY. Then turn of your device boot it to recovery (see picture, you must press both volume up and power key at the same time until you see your TAB 10.1 logo) then in recovery chose apply update.zip wait for it to finish then choose reboot now. It should do the trick
Don't forget to hit thanks.

Try installing titanium backup and open it up ,if you are rooted , a pop up will appear from the superuser with a choice to grant or deny root permission to the app

How to Root DNA Zero ROM?

[Help Needed] I have flashed DNA zero ROM on my galaxy j2-6 (J210F)
after installation and rebooting into rom, I checked Developer options for root access,There was no such options like root access.
Then I tried Installing SuperSU and Magisk one by one...both installed perfectly...but when I'm trying to give any app root access, then no popup appears asking to grant root access.
I checked through Root checker and it says root access is not properly installed. What to do? PLZ HELP?
