I got a Surface RT.I want to sideload an appx,bu it faied. The error said: the app is for x86 not for arm.But the app in the store is said that it supports x86 and arm......hope for help
And what's the application? Whenever you ask a question you need to give enough information for anyone to help you.
If it says it supports ARM in store but the Appx won't install saying its x86 then the app is likely a C++ app in which case there are seperate apps files for x86 and ARM I think.
Why not just install it from the store?

Hello
I recently bought a vivo tabe rt and I have installed x86 emulator. my question is when I tried and install software I need for work which is basically a program for parts identifying with pictures I load the program under the emulator and it started to run it then says acrobat reader 4 is needed and that it will start to install it extracts the acrobat software files and at end says c:\users\my name\appdata\local\temp\pftb261mtmp\setup.exe is a 16 bit application. you do not have permission to execute 16 bit applications. it then goes into main software install starts to extract and tells me the ole system files are in use and cannot be updated must restart. im wondering if this is do to the emulator not working with this software or if its something I can change.

From what I can see, the installer you are using is not supported by the emulator, or you are using the version of the emulator that does not support launching other applications

Intel x86 is a general cpu structure, which means 32Bit CPU. You can also use it with other vendor's 32bit CPUs

Has anyone been able to compile qemu 1.7 version and run windows image as qcow2 on android..??
I am facing some problem, mostly in GUI part of qemu.
Android kills the limbo-qemu process (1.7 version ) after it has launched, Dont know why it is killing it. Even tried to increase the ram in qemu for the windows image.
If you need more specific details in helping me out, please let me know.
Regards
Kushal
Question
Where did you find a link to download Limbo based off Qemu 1.7? I was wanting to try it myself but it looks like the Google code link is down.

Hi , how can Install Windows 7 on Android Devices Without Emulator
I am also looking for this answer.
I know how to Install Windows 7 on Any Android Phone using Emulator but without emulator, don't know.

AFAIK not possible.
BTW:
You cannot run binaries on processors which are a different architecture than the architecture the binaries where compiled to.
x86 vs ARM...
I'm attempting to side load Teams downloaded from Google Play running in an emulator onto my Pixel Pro 7. I get the error in the subject after I tap "Install" link from the "Do you want to install this app?" dialog after executing the .apk that I extracted using APK Extractor from the emulator
The emulator is running a Pixel 4 with Android API 34 x86_64 UpsideDownCake image. I tried an Arm image thinking I had the wrong OS architecture but that isn't the problem. Could it be related to the Pixel 7 Pro (and Pixel 7) needing 64 bit apps and Teams isn't 64 bit? I can't find anywhere that says what architecture the Teams app is and I'm not sure what the problem is. Any ideas on how to get Teams installed? I need it for work but it isn't work adding a google account to my phone although I still need Teams badly lol.
Try the ARM64v8A file from here - https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/micro...icrosoft-teams-1416-1-0-0-2023063101-release/
Install it directly on the phone.
