[Q] Please how can i flash cwm 6.0.19 manually - General Questions and Answers

Hello, please be patient with me. I need to install a cwm to change a korean rom, but when i go to the market and install the rom manager, when i click, says that my phone is not on the list. My phone is a korean vega 5 im-t100k and i've found a download web for this phone http://mizal.net:82/pantech/NO.5. And i've found this CWM_6.0.19_For_T100K.zip to download. ok, when i decompress, it appears a directory with 6 files: adb.exe, fastboot.exe, AdbWinApi.dll, AdbWinUsbApi.dll, installer.bat and recovery.img. Well, i've rooted my phone with unlock root and superuser works ok. I've installed adb in my windows 8 and i have access to my vega 5. Ok, I connect windows 8 with my phone in debuggin mode and transfer files with no problem. Ok, i've opened the directory with the 6 files and clicked on installer, it appears the terminal and says is looking for device, but nothing else. Please i've been looking information all around the web but it's all a mess. Please someone would be so kind to tell me how to do it step by step?. Thank you very much in advance, i'm desperated.

i would not recomend trying to edit the img file lots of reports of bricking The device from flashing custom img file
and alot of devices that no longer have wifi support do to incompatible wifi driver's OR BAD FLASH
(IF THIS HAPPENS TO YOU PM ME AND AND I WILL SEND U STOCK IMG FILE AND COMPLETE FLASHING INSTRUCTIONS)
(I HAVE BOTH STOCK PREROOTED IMG FILES) (UHOST ORIGINAL FIRMWARE) AND (STOCK XW-18 MODEL FIRMWARE)
if u would like to add an app to the device that way if u erase of factory default the mk802 it will still be there u must add it as a system App
You can do this easly through adb (Andriod Debugging)
You Must Have Usb Debugging Enable...and windows pc or laptop
and android sdk installed (]http developer.android com/sdk/index html)
YOUR MK802 OR MK802 II MUST HAVE ROOT...See This Guides in this forum (http www rikomagic co uk/forum/viewforum php?f=2&sid=bbfa80e8467e65d3cd46b25fdf27e517)
If You Have The Original MK802 Ur Pre Rooted Just Download SuperUser From Market and go to the letter i At the top of the right page then click update binarys on next page
1. plug into tv and power on (make sure u use the dc-voltige port for power)
2. navigate to Setting/Developer Options/Usb Debugging and Check This
3. plug usb cord into mk802 (make sure its the OTG port) and plug the other end into pc or laptop
4. windows will find the multimedia mass storage drivers and if u have sd card in it will find that also.. windows wont find the driver for the mk802
dont worry skip this
5. navigate to windows device manager and click on the yellow icon with triangle should say android something....lol (cant remember) and right click it and select update driver and then choose browse my computer for software click browse button and navigate to where android sdk was installed C:\Android\android-sdk\ and then select extra folder then select google folder so the directory should look like this C:\Android\android-sdk\extras\google now click let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer and then scroll down till u see Android Interface And Select it Then select
Android Sooner Single ADB Interface....it should pop up and say windows cant verify if it the right driver click install anyways wait for a min then it should pop up and say windows successfully installed device driver.
6. navigate to windows command line and and type (cd C:\Android\android-sdk\platform-tools) hit enter then typ (adb devices) it will say list of attached devices and a nubmer line under that if there is no number or there just a space there then u need to start back at step 5 if u see ur device proseed to step
if u know adb commands ur good...if not sorry its to long to explain please refer to this here for most adb commands

You need to have the phone's drivers installed on your computer. Try connecting the phone in USB Debugging mode and install the drivers. You can check the device manager in control panel to see if you have working drivers or not.
Let me know if it didn't work.

[GUIDES] TWRP 2.3.6.0 / Root / Uninstall ChainFire3D for Lenovo A369i

Disclaimer: I am not responsible if you brick your phone. And I am sorry if I posted it on the wrong spot.
Anyways, a while ago I had a terrible accident for my phone. I installed ChainFire3D on my A369i which is running 4.2.2. And since ChainFire3d is not compatible with JB, so, I am stuck in the boot screen. This is a very big problem, for the phone is a new model - no roms, no firmwares, no updates. But, I managed to fix everything. And I decided to put up a thread in case I forgot how I did it. So, here goes:
To fix it, first, I managed to install TWRP. Here's how:
Download the USB-driver for Lenovo A369i. You should use this driver and not any driver that looks like it.
Download and install the SP Flash Tool
Download TWRP recovery for SP Flash Tool.
Unpack the archives.
Turn off phone. Remove battery.
Run SP Flash Tool.
Click File> Open Scatter-loading file ... and select the file from the folder MT6572_Android_scatter_emmc.txt that is inside the TWRP recovery file.
Click the Download button and answer Yes (Yes) to the question;
Open Device Manager from the Properties of My Computer. Get it ready.
Connect phone to PC using USB cable.
This part is tricky. Open Device Manager and browse to Other devices category. You should see Preloader being installed. But Windows could not find its drivers. So, you right click it, and click Update driver, and browse to Lenovo A369i driver folder you have downloaded. You should be fast to do this, for the phone when plug in to PC without battery will turn on and off and on and off.
If everything is correct, you will see red bar in SP Flash Tool, then yellow, then a green circle.
Reboot phone to recovery, and you now have TWRP.
Second, to uninstall ChainFire3d, I used TWRP
Under TWRP, click Mount, click System, then go back to Home page.
Click Advance, click File Manager, browse to /system/lib
Look for libGLESv1_CM.so and rename it to libGLESv1_CMcf.so
Then, look for libGLESv1_CM_ORG_CF3D.so and rename it to libGLESv1_CM.so
Then, click chmod and change it to 644.
Look for libGLESv2.so and rename it to libGLESv2cf.so
Then, look for libGLESv2_ORG_CF3D.so and rename it to libGLESv2.so
Then, click chmod and change it to 644.
Reboot and wait. Phone is fixed.
Next, was to root it. Here's how:
Use motochopper exploit.
Unpack zip file..
Enable USB Debugging mode.
Connect your device to your PC via USB.
Explore to extracted directory and run run.bat

After I upgraded my desktop to windows 8, I am

I'm not sure whether or not Framaroot is effective. But I am sure that a good way to root a device is to unlock your bootloader and use ODIN. There are various instructions on how to install it on different devices.
Just got mine too. Love this phone! I can get 24 hours of usage in one full charge! Unfortunately still no tutorials on rooting this device
yes ! still waiting for the root tools ...
This site says it's just done via app? Not sure how legit this is. http://www.how-to-root.club/2015/04/lenovo-a5000-7167.html

use the pc to root your device!
after root success, use CH Play to install SupperSU
Good luck!
sucesfull root
Today managed to sucesfully root the phone so no more ads or camera shutter sounds.
You need to use kingroot apk (framaroot didn't worked). I know, it is chinese stuff filled with all sort of additional apps that are installed during rooting process but you have to bear with them for a few minutes.
I downloaded it from here: arykblog.info/2015/04/how-to-root-lenovo-a5000.___html (remove the ___ from link)
After installing the kingroot app and rooting the phone with it, I followed this tutorial
w0lfdroid.com/2015/05/How-to-Remove-Replace-KingUser-KingRoot-with-SuperSU.___html (remove the ___ from link)
you have to extract the Replace_Kingroot_With_SuperSU.zip into your "\sdcard" folder (when browsing phone in windows explorer, you are by default in \sdcard folder)
It will look like this \sdcard\mrw\root.sh
Use the mentioned console app on your android
First start root shell by calling "su"
Then you have to make system read-write, by calling "mount -o remount,rw /system"
Then enter that mrw folder "cd \sdcard\mrw" and run "sh root.sh"
After a few seconds it should start SuperUser app and it will prompt you to replace binaries, use the "normal" way.
After success, reboot the phone and SuperSU should be still working and no kingroot app present.
(reboot also restores mount status of system folder)
PS: make sure you do not have installed the SuperUser app before using this process
PSS: make sure you place the mrw folder is in correct directory and that you succeed in one run, or you have to repeat it again from installing kingroot
Important note: DO NOT INSTALL FIRMWARE UPDATE WITH ROOT. You will brick the phone, tested :crying:
If you brick the phone, you have to flash official ROM.
You will have to install latest SP Flash Tool and drivers for your phone bootloader (that unknown device which appears for a few seconds after connecting you turned off phone to PC)
androidxda.com/smart-phone-flash-tool
mediafire.com/download/g4dn7yh54savq90/Lenovo_A5000_usb_driver.rar
Then download from a russian site the official ROM (warning, it contains additional russian apps that you will have to remove)
Can't post the links, so google "A5000_S025_150121_ROW" and look for lenovo-forums.ru and bymobyle.by (1+GB files)
Then extract the ROM somewhere, open flash tool, click on scatter loading and find the "MT6582_Android_scatter.txt", open it and click Download.
Now connect your phone when turned off via USB and it should flash the ROM. Afterwards your phone should be able to start.
PS: It takes quite a while after the flash to start.
I hope you find this tutorial useful.

THANKS A BUNCH!!!
After i have flashed it back to stock version, do i need to reinstall custom recovery or is it still bootable?

Bootloader unlock and Root instructions very unclear, please help

So, I'm trying to follow the instructions, but when I get to this following part, I get completely stumped.
rrvuhpg said:
4. Follow the official Sony instructions for getting the unlock code from [here](https://developer.sonymobile.com/unlockbootloader/). Further paste the code in BLU menu of Flashtool. You can also find video instructions [here](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6lKWd5LlUoA).

1. What the heck does it mean, "paste the code in BLU menu of Flashtool"?? I need step by step instructions on how to do that.
You see, because when I click the "BLU" button in flashtool, it doesn't bring up a place to paste something into.
The "further video instructions" didn't help AT ALL, because the video never uses Flashtool!
So, then, at that point, I tried just using the instructions of the video instead, but when it got to the part about installing the fastboot driver, my folder Android\sdk\extras\google, DOESN'T HAVE A "usb_driver" folder! How do I get it??
I got my bootloader unlock code.
I have installed flashtool.
I have installed android studio (because I couldn't figure out how to just install "sdk tools")
I downloaded the adb drivers file, Xperia_XA_driver.zip, and unzipped it, and have the folder Signed_so0116_driver on my desktop.
I downloaded the fastboot driver zip, and have the android_winusb.inf file.
I have no idea what to do with them.
I have downloaded the file boot-XA-SS-33.2.A.2.73.img. I don't know what to do with it.
I have downloaded the superSu zip from their website as linked.
I have downloaded recovery-TWRP-XA-SS-EXT4-3.1.0.img as linked, because I have the single SIM.
I tried using the Flashtool-drivers.exe found in the drivers folder of Flashtool, but it didn't have the drivers for the Xperia XA!
How do I tell flashtool that I have the drivers??
Please help me, someone.
Please, provide me some step by step instructions on what exactly to do with my bootloader unlock code and the drivers (and other files) I have downloaded.
Thank You.
Sorry about my English, but:
1. If you got your phone's driver in your computer, when you plug your phone into PC, it will auto install driver so your PC can detect your phone (MTP, ADB, etc...)
2. Fastboot driver will help your PC detect your phone when your phone in fastboot mode.
3. If you have ADB, you will abe to flash *.img file into your phone. modified boot.img file will help you not bootloop when you flash recovery file. If you want to root your phone, you must flash that boot.img file and recovery.img file via fastboot, then you will able to install SuperSU via Recovery.
