Instructions [IMPORTANT! SPECIFIC!]:
Download ROM, Sultan Kernel Aroma Settings, Enable ROOT (If you want it)
Install ROM
After the main ROM installation, Sultan kernel will be preinstalled, however to configure settings according to whether you prefer Performance for gaming or Battery Life, You need to run Sultan Kernel Aroma STRAIGHT AFTER, NO REBOOT
IF YOU WANT ROOT, INSTALL ENABLE ROOT STRAIGHT AFTER INSTALLATION, NO REBOOT TO AVOID lbeguard FC! If you later decide to enable ROOT, flash and reboot, you will get FORCE CLOSE, BUT, keep closing the notification and CLEAR DATA of LBEGUARD FROM SETTINGS AND WILL STOP, THEN YOU WILL HAVE ROOT

I use drop box but it requires me to download the client to upload larger than 300mb which is crap. I'll find another host when I get home

Hello this is a ics rom based on android 4.0.3 / 3.2.22.
Why not upgrade this to current rom V5 Jelly Bean and could you update the control panel to work with version V5 miui.

Please read the original post. This ROM isn't for the latest stuff, but rather the most stable and efficient. MIUI V5 still has some issues and kills the battery quite quickly.

edit : just installed and realized header says CM7 2.3.4 but i install kernel over 2.3.7 (miui rom)
so far so good and flying. i can feel how rapid it is report back in a couple of days time on batt life et or any other hiccups

I didn't changed anything. Don't use any CPU programs. Speed is default speed. Made cf bench , was streaming radio on the backgroynd and charging. Here is the result:

Fixed topic, it was misleading. Ported CM usually isn't all that version critical as natives like Nexii.

That bench was done on Bulletproof v1.4 @ 1.89Ghz. Running Sense 3.0 with full homescreens, ~150 apps loaded. No task killers or cheating

1. What it`ll happen if you try to install the kernel on sense 3.5(energy)?
2. If i am already on a custom kernel (bricked), do i need to install rom all over again? Or it will work if I flash return to stock ?
Would like to know about #2. Have to return to stock kernel first then apply this kernel?

Not tested yet on Sensation XE.

No, everything is listed in OP.
For me GPU in 3D mode works properly on 320 MHz, but I read somewhere that this frequency can be unstable on some devices.

Kernel works nice on Senseay XE35! CF Bench overall 6585 after a short period of working with this kernel.
No issues so far, very smooth and noticeable faster.
What's remarkable is that the phone is getting less warm then with the custom kernels I normally use.

you can use whichever one you want. if the 320 becomes unstable then switch to 300. i personally think 300 is more than enough.
@sebastian, does this kernel allow the use of a cpu controller app like system tuner? also, is there a difference between this and tinkys stock kernel thread?

Just in case others on the same ROM as me are waiting for feedback, it's working well so far with EnergyROM from 22nd December. Only an hour or so in at the mo.... Using 300 MHz gpu variant.

The camera has the HQ mod and is very nice with fast shutter speed. I haven't tested instagram... but I assume it will work fine. I'll test it now

My only issue with these kernels is that i can never get the max frequency i want to stick. I've used setcpu and nofrills

This kernel realy stable (wifi etc) but isnt overclock (cpu gpu) drains so much battery? CPU is ok i can underclock it but what about GPU?
battery drain is heavy. after 13 hours is the battery at 15%. (fb, whatsapp, browser,...)
with lowkernel 1.0.1 at same time 30-40%

Use v06 and flash the post boot Script. No need to actually over clock with this kernel beast and still getting great battery life. 24 hours easily with 4 hours of screen time.

i flashed the extreme kernel (i think, this is the newest) modules and extrem script, but i don´t overclock min:192 max: 15xx
~6 hours: 192mhz
~6 hours deep sleep
reflash lowkernel and wait the battery drain
somebody tested the normal kernel with 2.21 RUU?
NOTE: After installing on Stock 2.21 RUU with newest radio causes black screen on reboot.
the boot script link isn't working. can some post a working link.

no, thats an AOSP rom not sense. there arent really too many options when talking kernels and AOSP unfortunately.

This ROM has an OTA system which updates every week along with the official OTA releases.
Mobile data is disabled by default. You have to manually enable it in the settings. *Note from BreatheHT: This ROM does support LTE. However, if you mess with ANY of the options under "Preferred network type", you will LOSE your LTE, and for now there isn't a way to restore LTE except for wiping data...
This ROM has ElementalX 6.5 kernel integrated. S2W is enabled by default. S-ON users, you have to manually flash boot.img.
This ROM has been tested on HBOOT 2.15(other versions might work as well). CWM and Philz recovery recommended. *Note from BreatheHT: I've used TWRP and it works just fine.
There are 2 Baidu apps and 1 QQ Browser that come with the ROM. They are just some random stuff from the author. You guys can delete them as soon as you finish flashing the ROM.
The weekly OTA update is NOT 100% guaranteed, depends on the amount of spare time the author has.

This ROM will be in Chinese by default, but should automatically switch to English after it fully boots up.

Im trying the rom now, coming from an earlier build, this one seems a little slow at first.
Im trying different settings that usually did the trick on the last build.

All the kernels that worked on Android 4.1.1 sense 4 roms would also work here.
I use ElementalX 7 with this Rom.

If you download the MIUI Launcher from playstore (which is better and doesn't lag), it has a weather app that can find location outside China.
Or simply use Yahoo Weather. There 4x2 and 4x1 widgets are pretty good too.

It's based on MIUI weather and includes cities in U.S. it also adds extra features and can send weather data to the default weather widgets.

The question was about if the stock weather app could display in Fahrenheit, It can't but the modded one I posted a link to can.
I like miui rom so much but It s lag n sometime random reboot i had to rollack sense rom.

I love it too, but this build is super laggy on my phone...greenify and turbo boost does not help at all. Switched back to KickdroidXL 5.0
I'm running on the 4.1.3 build and I'm getting no lag. Here's my setup
Elementalx 7 , zram enabled, 1.7 max, higher min set
Turbo boost, default settings
Build.prop composition type set to gpu
Force GPU rendering selected in developer settings
Power setting set to High Performance

That's pretty much the same settings I am using, except no turbo boost. And its not lagging. Plus, I use the MIUI launcher that's on Playstore because there's no lag there. :good:
