How to flash:
Make a nandroid
flash the correct kernel for your rom (AOSP/cm7/miui -> "acm", sense3.0-> sense30,)

guess i'm gonna be the first G-pig to try it on MIUI rom
edit : just installed and realized header says CM7 2.3.4 but i install kernel over 2.3.7 (miui rom)
so far so good and flying. i can feel how rapid it is report back in a couple of days time on batt life et or any other hiccups

Haha yea did you see that score on the first page! That was on sense lol!
I didn't changed anything. Don't use any CPU programs. Speed is default speed. Made cf bench , was streaming radio on the backgroynd and charging. Here is the result:

Fixed topic, it was misleading. Ported CM usually isn't all that version critical as natives like Nexii.

That bench was done on Bulletproof v1.4 @ 1.89Ghz. Running Sense 3.0 with full homescreens, ~150 apps loaded. No task killers or cheating

I have 2 questions:
1. What it`ll happen if you try to install the kernel on sense 3.5(energy)?
2. If i am already on a custom kernel (bricked), do i need to install rom all over again? Or it will work if I flash return to stock ?
Would like to know about #2. Have to return to stock kernel first then apply this kernel?

for now i'm trying to reduce rom size to make it fit to our nand, removing stuff and optimizing apks, will take a while but should be done till morning. let's work together and make this workable asap

the supplied kernel with the rom is 2.6.35 smth, we will see about kernel in the next days
p.s. the rom was provided deodexed, i didn't do that, in case anyone wonders
Could coutts ginger kernel work, the aosp one. The 2.2 aosp worked with sense 2.2

if you guys ported it to desire and get the camera working, please let US (HD2 community) know. We ported this to hd2 but camera doesn't work. It may need modifications.

No new kernel just use coutts sense kernel...same as I used in wildfire s Rom for booting.
Got booted but with lots of bugs (automatically reboot after 10 to 15 seconds)
But this Rom is 3 months old...also its fully Deodexed...
Anyway who care the main thing is, its working on my device.

from what I've heard, Bumble-Bee stated that Sense has memory leaks, after a few hours of usage it was using 300 mB of ram (this on Ace). For now i can't even make the rom boot ) at least i've optimized the apks, gained about 30 megs. if anyone wants them i'll share

What does this do?
Kernel developers make their kernels to be "universal". By universal, they want the kernel to work on as many phones as possible so they may only mildly undervolt. However, some phones can handle a more aggressive undervolt. Some can't. viperMOD allows you to undervolt to your choosing for better battery life or allow you to overvolt to make your phone more stable.
How do I run this?
Once you flash the .zip go into your Terminal app (I use Android Terminal Emulator set to 10pt font) and type:
su
vipermod
I really only use Terminal for my mod and there is something really cool you can do with Android Terminal Emulator (and maybe others). Menu > Preferences > Initial Command > Press Enter and type su > Press Enter again and type vipermod
Every time you start Terminal now, it will open right into viperMOD. You can quickly exit by pressing Enter if you need to use Terminal for something else

Sorry that's the one thing I forgot to fix on the done yesterday. go to the downloads page and flash what you'd like and it will work if you have a compatible kernel. what are you running?

Virtuous Sensation is a custom ROM for the HTC Pyramid series of phones (Sensation, Sensation XE, etc.). The goal is to provide a simple, Sense-based, mostly-stock ROM based on the official Sensation Sense ROM with essential bug fixes and only subtle enhancements.

Based off the official Sensation ROM (WWE 1.73.401.2), deodexed and zipaligned.
Pre-rooted with the latest version of Superuser and modified ramdisk to allow adb remount, mock locations, etc.
Enhanced reboot options built-in, allowing for booting into recovery, bootloader, hot boot, etc.
Bricked kernel with overclocking daemon (no need for SetCPU/Tuner). Screen Off: 192000 / 1188000 (conservative). Screen On: 192000 / 1512000 (ondemand).
IO optimizations including the use of ext4 with writeback journaling for all mounts and larger read-ahead buffer for improved sdcard performance.
Updated versions of all Market-available apps.
All Market-installable apps installed in /data/app. These apps are automatically installed for you both on initial install and after a factory reset/wipe. There are custom scripts to use Android's package manager (pm) to manage these apps, which ensures they are installed properly.
Bloatware, defined as anything you could easily choose to download from the Market yourself, has been removed.
Advanced quick settings, allowing for the configuration of options listed in this tab.
Overscroll glow effect, tastefully done using white, to match any theme or background.
The popular CRT off animation. We have intentionally omitted CRT on, as Sense 3.x provides impressive power on animations itself.
Customized camera application with bitrate selection and support for using mp4 containers.
Several custom themes, including Slate3D (CypiS), AmazingSense (CypiS), Revolution (he_stheone64) and Honey3D (he_stheone64).
Automated battery calibration. Just plug your phone in after a wipe and charge it to full (preferably overnight), then let our script do the rest.
Over the air updates via ROM Manager.

Once the Sensation has been unlocked by HTC the all new roms will work (and remove the vodafone logo, of course.)

Apologies in advance, perhaps I'm being a bit thick, but how on earth do we flash this at the moment? I thought the Sensation couldn't be rooted yet, and we're waiting for HTC to unlock it.

They said they will unlock new Devices. There is no clear statement about the HTC Sensation.

Hello, you may not know me, or you might if you own a kindle fire. I am the developer of ReloadedROM™ for android devices. This is my build of CM9 Reloaded for the HTC Sensation. This is as of now the initial release.

Guys, this is my daily rom and it is very stable, no disrespect to other aosp, but this runs smoother on my phone. Call me a biased dev, whatever; I work for the community.

How long is the first boot? It has already been 5 mins. I have been using Hypernonsense.
How is the camera quality? Does Instagram work with FFC? Etc.

The camera has the HQ mod and is very nice with fast shutter speed. I haven't tested instagram... but I assume it will work fine. I'll test it now

The bug is actually not showing up any more. And like I said, it already has the HQ mod pre installed ;-)

Its a script that i put together that tells the CPU governor how to behave.
Is this based off of Virtuous OC?
No, the reason Virtuous OC is in there is because its like an app to let me OC. It basically SetCPU in a more advanced form.
When I download the Aosp or Aokp version, why doesn't it flash?
Because busybox is located in a different place in your rom. This is why i go tell you to flash the sense version. There is actually no difference between versions, just that it checks for busybox in different locations.
I noticed a lot of Virtuous stuff in the zip. How much do you actually own
You see a lot of virtuous stuff because thats what i figured would be needed to make the daemon work. Anything that doesn't have the name virtuous on it, i own. The only exceptions are the OC setting, which i also own.

It isn't a kernel. It adds onto the kernel. It adds governors and a modified Virtuous OC. Flash the AOSP version. If that doesn't work (installation aborted), use sense. Hope this helped
Does this work on sense 3.6? saw nowhere in the OP stating so..Only saw support for sense 3.5
Edit: Also is this compatible with latest bricked kernel 1.1?
I flashed this last night and it flashed fine, I used v1.2 though and will be changing it to the newer v2.1 later today, got to let my battery fully charge again. My question though is how do I access the governors that Indian Madness flashed to the ROM?
Also my device was in stand by mode for like 10 hours why I slept and it only lost like 5% battery. But as soon as I picked up my device and started using it, the battery started dropping again. But I really think it is the ROM I am using right now. I think I will be switching ROMs today.
