[Q] Phone doesn't turn on - it only vibrates when battery is in - Sony Xperia Miro, Tipo (Dual), J, E

Hi to all,
2 days ago my phone just suddenly didn't want to turn on (before that it was turned on, with full battery, working normally - but after 2, 3 hours in a car /there was not direct sun, humid, etc../ it did not want to turn on).
When i put battery in the small light on the bottom of the phone starts to shine (it also changes colours to green, blue, yellow...) and phone keeps vibrating. If I hold power button for approx. 10 seconds than it stops vibrating. But the screen is black and nothing else changes.
I also did not install any updates or anything.
What could possibly be wrong?
p.s. when I try to connect phone with USB to my PC it recognizes that the phone is connected to the PC, but I cannot access to my personal data or do anything in Xperia PC programme..

Pc companion - repair? If repairing it doesnt work, you should ask sony service.

Xperia Miro doesn't start? Whats wrong?

Hi Folks,
a friend gave me an Xperia Miro. I sould change the glass.
So i tried to turn on before change: nothing happend.
I changed the glass, tried to turn on: Nothing
Xperia on the charger for 2 days: LED blinks steady red (about 1-2s between blinks).
So i thought it was the battery - bought a new one.
Battery loading: Battery gets warm (!?!) but still nothing happens.
Tried hard reset (vol up & power) LED turns blue steady (while connected to Powerplug)
As i plug off, the LED stopps. When trying to turn on: nothing happend.
Another few hours of Charging (always stock cable & loader): After turn on 3x red for 10s. Afterwards red 1x each 1-2s.
Tried to connect to PC & SPCC: No connection - phone not detectet.
Phone was never rooted or similar.
Is there any trick left? Is this a known issue? Warranty is over - he said it worked before screen change but he didn't use it for months.
Thanks,

Xperia Tipo possibly dead?

Hi,
So yesterday I dropped my Tipo, nothing major, dropped it many times before with no issues, the screen stopped working - all lights worked and the phone itself was fine, just the screen remained black. Disassembled the phone and checked connectors etc, no issues from what I could see. I decided as a last ditch attempt to try and flash it back to stock using Flashtool, flashed it with ST21i Tipo_11.0.A.0.16_UK_Generic.ftf, completed with no issues. Disconnected phone and the LED indicator was green, nothing else happened on the phone - it wouldn't turn on etc. Decided to try flashing it again however when starting up Flashtool I noticed the previous ROM used although titled for a Tipo within Flashtool it was listed as ST26i where a Tipo is an ST21i, now everytime I connect the phone to the PC it starts in MTP mode and i'm unable to flash again or do anything, plus I can't enable debugging as the phone doesn't turn on. I've also tried using Xperia Companion however that doesn't pick it up at all.
Anyone got any ideas of what I could try next?
Update
Okay just an update, left the phone and the battery died. When trying to turn it on the red led flashed - usual battery dead indicator. So I decided to try charging it, pressed the volume buttons etc and noticed the green led come on. So managed to flash it again with the correct firmware. It seems to have done something as now when it's plugged in to charge it doesn't boot up but just shows the green led, if I press the volume up button when plugging it in the led will go blue. Anyone know what I can try now? As it seems to just boot into flash mode (green led) when turning it on and nothing else.

My phone doesn't turn on after rooting.

I'd accidentally deleted many of my screenshots from my phone, a Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime (16GB). But then, I wanted to recover my photos, so I used Dr. fone by Wondershare to recover my photos. I was told to turn on Developer Options and then turn on USB debugging. I did that and plugged my phone to my PC. The Dr. fone said that it would root my phone temporarily to access the deleted photos and then unroot the phone once completed, but I accidentally disconnected the connection between the phone and PC because the cable's connector pin was loose.
Since then, my phone wouldn't react at all when I press or hold any button, I tried holding the power button for more than 10 seconds, then 30 seconds, then the home button, then the power+volume down, and every possible button combination for over 30 seconds. But nothing happens. But the entire time since I disconnected the cable, my phone's LED indicator was a solid red color. What does that mean? Now, I didn't charge the phone later, and the red LED disappeared. So, what do I do now? I got this for my birthday present and it's gone in two months. (and I'm only 15, I can't go and buy another phone).
I still have 10 months of warranty remaining. Will Samsung give me a replacement or something? And my PC doesn't show the phone when connected to my PC too.
Please help! :crying:
Try to connect in the download mode, and install the Stock ROM, if you need help, send a private message to me

Is it bricked or just battery

So the Xperia z3 will not start and it seems that it doesn`t charge, furhther it wont turn on.
Tried VOL+\- + Power button and the little button behind the SIM-Cover - no reaction
When I connect it with a (working) charging unit the LED will light up red and the display shows a battery-symbol filled red on the bottom (10%)for a few seconds, then it turns off and shows the same things (led and screeen). Well it is some kind of loop. I charged it for over 24 hours with different charging devices (up to >2A)
When I connect it to a PC the LED is dark blue. PC Companion says that the phone is locked and I schould unlock it, which is impossible as I am not able to turn the device on
Connecting it to the PC while holding the VOl- the PC Companion can do a software-repair and it says it works, but it doesn`t change the behavior of the phone.
I once got hands on an old Z3 wich showed the same behavior, it was just the battery. I changed the battery and it is now working fine again.

Hi
I have a u11.
last week while i was working with my phone suddenly it hanged and i tried to soft reset.
after that phone showed me blackscreen and nothing happened even i connect phone to the charger and charging led not showing and phone cant power on.
i tried a lot of methods with power and volume buttons but they didnt work.
when i connect phone to the pc it shows qusb_bulk driver or qualcomm hs-usb qdloader 9008
What happened and what can i do?
thanks
same problems
wait for helps
Hi,
I had the exact same problem:
HTC U11 just dropped dead in the middle of a phone call
- Would not turn on again.
- Would not soft-reset (pressing volumeLow + Power button for 10 secs makes the phone vibrate and the screen backlight turn on but the screen remains black).
- Would not charge (screen stays black).
- When connected to a Win10 PC via USB, it is detected as 'qusb_bulk' but no drive is shown
SOLUTION:
I removed the Sim card (not sure if this is even necessary).
Then I opened the phone (see tutorials on youtube etc) and disconnected the battery, then pressed the Power-button (just to make sure the remaining energy is drained). Then reconnect the battery and: it turns on just fine!
