I'm only familiar with ClockwordMod. I see on some ROM pages that you don't need to use the boot.img if you have TWRP recovery. What is it and where do I get it? Thanks.
It is team win recovery project . I believe you can be able to get online if you do a search . It is based on aosp recovery and has standard recovery options plus a few of their own options . Hope this helps and answers your questions. Just search team win recovery project and you can download from their site I believe.

What I really like about TWRP is that you could mount the sdcard; something you can't do with CWM.
Also some people reported that if your battery dies on you while on CWM, your phone might not charge at all and you will have a dead phone.

You can either
1- download the recovery.img and use fastboot to flash.
2- Easier just to use Goo Manager, Hit the menu button (or 3 dots) and choose
"Flash OpenRecovery"

CWM for some reason can not write to certain partitions, boot.img is one.
The boot.img is in the ROM and TWRP will flash it.
In case you want to use CWM, just extract the boot.img from the ROM file you download. Put it where fastboot can see it (usually where fastboot.exe is).
Run command
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
After that is done boot into recovery and flash ROM

I have strange problem, I am able to flash all roms , but every Rom is stuck on bootanimation, or if any boots it is very laggy and didn't boot on next reboot. I tried nand recovery procedure by cute prince, did factory reset but the problem still exists. I m able to access bootloader nd recovery. And one more interesting thing, only one Rom works properly that is sense 5 ex b5. (I was using this Rom for 2 weeks). And now I inserted old 2gb card nd in this jaggyrom worked ,(this didn't worked when I was on previous rom)

If you can boot a sense custom rom, you can boot any rom. Did you do full wipe before flashing roms?

Hello.
I made a terrible mistake and i delete my entire system, whitout backup first.
my device is now rooted, with twrp. I tried a several ruu, but i can't find one for version 1.18.709.3. my cid is HTC_621.
I also tried a several roms with sense 5, but the wi-fi data can't work. Right now i have no operating system.
Do you have any ideas what should i do for getting back on stock rom, no twrp and unrooted? Kind regards.

I guess i have a custom rom if i it get me in bootloader after i download updates. all i want is to have stock rom, unrooted, without twrp and to install updates ota
here is how i proceed:
downloading your rom from dropbox.
put the rom on a sd card
Open the rom zip and extract the boot.img file to the adb folder
Connect the phone to pc
opened cmd
restart phone in bootloader
type adb devices, but my device serial number arent showed here, but i have installed htc sync
Type "fastboot erase cache"
Type "fastboot flash boot boot.img"
Type "fastboot erase cache" again
Type "fastboot reboot recovery" to get to CWM or TWRP, but the command doesn't work. still, i enter manually on recover
Backup system, data, and cache but it says "failed on cache"
Factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache, format system
Install the rom from sd card.

Even if we did, we wouldn't be able to provide you with a backup as it contains the IMEI for an individual's phone. The best we can do, is try to salvage the data inside your /efs partition. If it's been fully wiped (as in deleted), then recovering the data might be possible, but you'll have to make a bit-by-bit shadow copy of the /efs partition. I think it's ext4, but I'm not sure. It is possible to recover the data, if it's simply been deleted. If it's been overwritten, then I'm afraid you'll be out of luck.
No one can provide his or her imei. You must visit note 3 forum sd variant. They will guide you to the thread which has a zip to fix it(if only it can work for your phone)

We don't support Custom Recovery like CWM. Here are the instructions to re-flash CM Recovery:
You'll need Android ADB drivers installed first, for which you can use the standard Google Android SDK drivers if you're using Windows: https://developer.android.com/sdk/win-usb.html
Afterwards, follow these steps:
0) Backup everything important you have on the device. Flashing will erase all data from your phone.
1) Download http://dist01.slc.cyngn.com/factory/bacon/cm-11.0-XNPH25R-bacon-signed-fastboot.zip
and unzip to you /android-sdk/platform-tools folder (for easy access)
2) Turn off device, then press the power and hold the Volume Up button until the device shows the fastboot screen
3) Start the fastboot tool and run the following in the command line (that means, windows+r, type cmd, press enter), in sequence:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash userdata userdata_64g.img
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash cache cache.img
fastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin
fastboot flash sbl1 sbl1.mbn
fastboot flash dbi sdi.mbn
fastboot flash aboot emmc_appsboot.mbn
fastboot flash rpm rpm.mbn
fastboot flash tz tz.mbn
fastboot flash LOGO logo.bin
4) Still using the same command line, enter "fastboot reboot" to reboot your OnePlus One into CyanogenMod
Hope this helps.

After which they overeagerly closed the service request
I've reopened it, though, as the case is far from solved.
Will redo this again tonight, so I do collaborate as they require, but it won't change anything as I've gone through this already
JP.
I don't know if it lets you but I would open a new case every 2 days till it gets resolved. This customer service issue is what is probably going to get me to sell my oneplus. I can't stand it. First its the yellow band which they should have replaced no questions asked and now this. And that's why companies like samsung, lg and others stay in business. I hope you get things figured out. Sorry about all that. Hopefully you have a backup phone in the meantime.
