Hey, guys I hope someone can help me:
I have a Samsung galaxy s , and I want to return to a original firmware so I tried to flash it with odin, but I encountered a problem:
When I enter in download mode and connect the USB cabble Odin doesn't see my device, I am desperate, please someone help me!
Sounds like it could be a driver issue. Check to see if you have the latest Samsung drivers.
Yes I have the latest Samsung drivers
i just buy it and when i connect it to my computer, it charging but unable to connect to pc, just only charging, i try kies, mass storage and usb debugging but it do not work, there is only kies ver 1.5.1 acept my phone but when i use some application in kies, it say: m100s does not support.., , i also installed ss usb driver. I hearded pc will acept my phone when update firmware Froyo 2.2 (my phone use firmware 2.1 enclair.de24) but how to upgrade when unable connect to pc. I am a newbie at this, someone know about it please tell me, i very confuse

btw, i not live at Korea so cant go to the SS center to fix this

When I connect my S duos to my PC, Kies is not able to detect it. I have the latest version of kies. Can anyone suggest a solution for that... ??

Try to download drivers from following thread

I tried to uninstall kies, install some drivers samsung always found on xda, but to no avail.
Still the same error message "USB device not recognized"

Maybe you should to install KIES.. and after installing KIES download and install this USB driver..

delete old drivers .download new (latest)drivers from official samsung website.
install kies and do not connect ur device
first go into tools and click install drivers .then try to connect ur device

Have you tried a different computer? Looks like computer problem.
i tried with a different computer but i get always the same error : "The device is not recognized (code 43)"

and this program maybe it can help you
Kies should install the drivers for you.
Uninstall Kies, download latest version of Kies and install it.(with phone disconnected).
Once you install and open Kies, update it in case it´s not the latest version.
Put your phone into debugging mode:
settings/Developer options and select "Android Debugging".
(or in some versions of Android it may be: settings/applications/development and select "USB debugging").
Now(with the phone ON) connect the phone via the USB cable. Kies should recognize your phone and your drivers should load. (You have to wait while Windows is detecting new hardware and setting up the USB drivers...Windows should advise you when the "new hardware" is installed and ready to use.)
Unplug phone and restart PC.
Now when you connect your phone to PC via USB, press the "connect USB storage" button on your phone to complete the connection.

hey man i have the last version of samsung kies on my pc and when i plug my usb cable the phone starts to charge but the pc shows "unknown device"
