Hey everybody
I'm using GT P6200 on ICS, but i got problem with connecting my device on my pc via Usb data cable (I'm sure this isn't my pc problem coz there are other GT P6200 that are connected well with this)
When I put the cable, MTP doesn't get connected as it used to be before, the pc show " unrecognised device"
I was wonerding if it's because i'm running it on ICS but before it worked really fine with no problem, i bought many cables then I tried with other devices( even other galaxy plus same as mine)
please help me to resolve this
N.B I'm sorry with my english am not good in english, but I'm sure you'll try to help

Try going to Settings => Developer and un-check USB debugging.
(On my GT-P6210 I get no connection or an unstable connection when I leave this setting checked.)
Try going to Settings => Developer and un-check USB

and this program maybe it can help you
Kies should install the drivers for you.
Uninstall Kies, download latest version of Kies and install it.(with phone disconnected).
Once you install and open Kies, update it in case it´s not the latest version.
Put your phone into debugging mode:
settings/Developer options and select "Android Debugging".
(or in some versions of Android it may be: settings/applications/development and select "USB debugging").
Now(with the phone ON) connect the phone via the USB cable. Kies should recognize your phone and your drivers should load. (You have to wait while Windows is detecting new hardware and setting up the USB drivers...Windows should advise you when the "new hardware" is installed and ready to use.)
Unplug phone and restart PC.
Now when you connect your phone to PC via USB, press the "connect USB storage" button on your phone to complete the connection.
Hope this helps

Do this if you didn't do it earlier:
Install Samsung Kies. Wait for it untill the installation is completed. The drivers are already included during the installation. You can find the setup file in here
Reboot your PC and connect your tablet.
Enable Android debugging in Settings > Developer Options (tap the build number in About tablet rapidly) > Android debugging (press to check).

Hello, and thank you for using XDA Assist!
Kies tends to get in the way of Odin when attempting download mode to restore. Thus, make sure that Kies is closed, then try the method to get into download mode.
