How to submit a bug.
When you submit a bug you want to make sure that nothing from your side is causing it.
Otherwise I might be hunting a bug which doesn't really exist.
The best way to achieve this is by doing the following.
Make a nandroid backup.
Perform a full wipe (factory reset + wipe /system)
Now we have two different ways depending on what kind of problem do you're having.
--When you're having a problem with a ROM function flash just the ROM without GAPPS etc. and boot back into the system. You will boot directly onto the homescreen.
--When you're having a problem with a 3rd party app in combination with our ROM then flash the ROM and GAPPS.
Boot now back into the system. You will boot to the setup wizard.
Log in to your Google account but make sure that you untick "Restore from my Google Account to this phone/tablet".
Finish the setup and open the playstore and download only the app you're having problems with.
Start a logcat recording and reproduce the bug (if possible more than once) while taking the logcat. If you don't know how to get a logcat read this tutorial or this.
Post the logcat in a txt file or on pastebin (this is important because you otherwise clog up the threads with your log) in the correct thread.
Please also write detailed how we can reproduce the bug.
Restore your backup from point 1 and wait for a fix (don't ask for ETAs).

Damn man great work. I ran it for a couple of days from my own source build a few months ago. It was flaky and I never felt like working on it. Must say keep it up.

FYI, installed A2SD, HammerSlammer, maxwoz GPS fix, and gapps 4.2.2 version at same time I flashed the rom. So far everything is running as expected. Haven't had much chance to play with it, but I'm sure someone is going to ask about your kernel and a2sd. Now to go finish chopping wood.
Very nice. Been running this off & on, on my Note 2 for months. Still running the copy for the evo that you sent me Eric, & it was awesome. Thank you.

You mention in the OP about a2sd testing, but when I went to terminal it said a2sd was not found. Should I flash it in recovery or is there an init.d issue?

Similar... but it does a complete wipe. Wifi works, and full power menu. This is what took me so long. I've been working with Sensei a bit to get it done... But you'll notice quite a bit from sleeper, with a touch of the old script from Legendary. FINALLY GOT IT! lol

Well i spoke with Sensei, and he mentioned working with you. Said you guys had a hard time coming up with a full wipe? I found a few things that wouldn't play nice.
the non-wiping would cause my wifi to not work.
Backup scripts for some reason wouldn't work in /tmp/tools... Had to move the files to just /tmp/
The busybox was giving me issues too, so i went back to Legendary's. Not sure what the difference is, but after those things, everything seemed to work fine.
Anywho, i got the wipe working for RFS\EXT4, just haven't converted to MTD yet to test, so i commented that part out and did an abort();
Going to figure the MTD out tomorrow, along with Supercharger and some of the EL30 mods Sensei posted which will save me tons of time.
But thanks bbelos.. None of this greatness would be possible without yours, senseis and toad's collaberating. Team efforts go alot farther! =)
Hell yeah!!! I can't wait for the new MTD ROM.

At the bottom of the post there are 2 zip files, one to flash the recovery on boot and one to remove recovery on boot.
Me, as well as a few others have tested this on our atrix 2 and have seen exceptional results. There are minor bugs but thats why I remove it if I dont need it.
Bug1- seems to make gps weird
Bug2- removes oc on rebel rom, maybe others
Bug3: tell me
Thia allows you to boot straight into recovery on every boot. I use it as a savehaven. I flash it before i flash something and if it doesnt put me in a boot loop i reboot recovery and flash the second zip file.
If ive posted in the wrong forum, feel free to move it. Thanks.

From what the OP says, this shouldnt effect gps. Some users have had it affect gps, some havent. The only fix as of this moment is removal of the mod. But i never use it unless i flasg something, then i disable it anyways, so gps was never an issue

Does having cwm on boot installed give you a flashing green led whenever you turn your screen off?? Or is it just me? I've been trying to figure out what's causing this for a couple days now..

Based on CM7, this is a ROM that provides a basic experience while keeping all features.
Working:
Pretty much everything.
The goods:
zipaligned
Minumum RAM usage
Using T-Mobile/ CM7 theme engine
Fully customizable
4G (maybe- not availible where I live.)
Standard Gingerbread launcher
Note: the messaging app might fail to send any messages. To fix this, go to settings -> applications -> manage applications -> all -> messaging -> clear data. Then restart your device.

For the market errors, try going into language and keyboard, select any other English language. Open market then close the market. Go back into language and select united states English again. This was recommended and it worked for me. Also, adding an additional Gmail account was recommended as well. Good luck.

There is really only one GB AOSP rom other than CM that can't be considered a kang in one way or another. That's SalvageMod. Really there is no shame in the kang, so long as the dev gives proper creds. (Which he did) I have a couple here in dev section myself.

Development for MIUI skyrocket has been started by 0xD34D.
Please assist him by testing and giving logcats of any issues you have.
His name is lithium76 here on xda.
HOW TO INSTALL:
1. Place zip on root of SD card.
2. Boot into cwm, take a nandroid.
3. Wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache.
-----3a. Or use darkside wipe.
4. Install zip from SD.
5. Reboot system. Enjoy
NOTES:
This has most of the same bugs our aokp R1 had and maybe a few other small bugs.
To fix reboot menu. After initial boot let rom settle for 5mins, manually boot into recovery, wipe cache/dalvik. Reboot system.

Thats what ive been running, not sure on other cwm versions
So here is what I found by trying to stop battery drain caused by the media storage+heating etc. I Of course can't guarantee this working for everybody but I tried this with 2-different JellyBean ROM's twice and it worked all 4 times on my device :victory:
This will have a few Reboots so bare with me. (because I believe reboots make a difference)
For all of you who have a JellyBean ROM already installed and have the battery drain skip to Step.8
1. Download your JellyBean ROM of choice
2. Place on SD card
3. MAKE A NANDROID BACKUP of your current ROM
4. Wipe data, cache and dalvik cache
5. Select ROM of choice from the SD card (Most ROM's these days come with an Aroma-Installer so remember what you picked to be installed and what not.)
6. Boot device
7. Set up the phone and let it restore all apps. Set everything you will use (facebook, e-mail, flipboard etc) -then ReBoot
8. I used TitaniumBackup and removed "Media Storage" and I also removed "Downloads 4.1.1"
9. ReBoot into Recovery & wipe cache and dalvik cache
10.Dirty-Flash your ROM of choice which you chose @ Step.5 and chose the same features if possible.
11.Install your prefered Kernel optional (I personally chose Ktoosez 3.0.49 just because it gave me good battery life)
12.Wipe cache and dalvik the last time and also fix permissions.
13.ReBoot the last time and enjoy!
Hope this was helpful and will work for most of you early JellyBean users. :fingers-crossed:

Right now I have CleanROM 4.0 running. Yesterday I had Galaxy MOD running was just to lazy to revert @ 4am
Can't wait to try this out on JellyWiz 12. If you don't mind, I'll make a how to video on this.
Guess I'm just doomed not to run jelly bean cause this didn't work for me thanks anyway

Of-course not. Why would anyone mind some extra help for people who are more visual.
I just hope it works for everyone and on JellyWiz.
Please hit me up with some replies if it worked for you as well. Since as I said I din't have testers and I only tried it on 2-different ROM's on one device. Hope I'm not just lucky or something!

I don't get why every phone acts a little different from another. The best I could do is make a backup of mine and share it.

Can't you just disable media storage. Then reboot and re enable it? That seemed to work for me

Same idea, but that didn't work for me
Are you all letting the media storage run for a few hours before trying this? Mine ran for like 2 hours on the charger with power save on, then it started deepsleep and has been fine sense.
The reason. I believe, it makes clips for all your videos that play in thumbnail view in the gallery, and indexes and thumbnail all your pictures. It's normal

When you installed CR 4.0 what items did you select? I think it may have to do with what apps are installed more then anything else.
Basically, install the bare minimum and see if you still have problems. Maybe it is something is getting installed in your process that is causing the problem.
I would leave off "adfree" for sure as well as anything else that effects media.
Launcher: only install one launcher(TW. If you want to add apex or Nova do it from the market after. I am using Nova but from the market.
Samsung Apps: left them all off.
You can always add on after you fix the issue.
