Anyone know how or where I can change the settings for the screenshot resolution? The screenshots are really low quality.

I've never heard of something like this, what app are you using to look at the pictures? Just the main gallery app?

Yeah! It's possible! Firstly you need to mod the smart watch app either by using exposed installer and searching smartwatch in the modules section or by using this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2735718
Secondly you need the WatchWidgets for SmartWatch 2 app which you can find on the Play Store...
Then you need to find the background widget in the watch face editor and drag it on to the centre. Then drag on your other widgets whilst being careful not to pick up the background. Then go to the watch widgets app settings and set the wallpaper...
I hope I helped

I think that there's something wrong in this widget. Color pictures are normal but in low power they are wrong. Nobody noticed this?
I think It´s because of the grayscale that low power mode can show
Yeah I think this app doesnt handle the images very good on low power mode, if you try different resolutions of the picture or use the original size mode you may get better or worse results. This is because the conversion to low power mode resolution is not done properly by the app...
Does anybody know any other app which can handle this?

I'm waiting for the NeFa Studio Watchface widgets. The picture widget is still in development.
I have his first watchface app before widget mode and it is nice in low power mode
So if anyone using Instagram and having issues with the picture after cropping and pre-posting where the entire image is black, I'd like to sincerely thank zephiK for pointing out the workaround!! The workaround is simple and as follows..
Open Instagram and click on your profile tab and hit the menu button, under camera turn off the bottom option of the two that says "high-quality image processing" try and sample a shot on Instagram and see if the pic appears to be normal.. Voila!!! Again thanks to zephiK for pointing this out to me and was good to hear I wasn't alone..
Anyone else still having issues after trying this quick and easy workaround please post back here and lets us know.
Thanks XDA!!
Go into instagram settings, toggle high quality image processing

Toggle as in turn it off and on? Or change from where it is to something else back or change it and leave it? Thanks for the quick reply, and good to know I'm not the only one lol....
I'm glad it's something stupid lol cuz other than that I have zero issues...

Which one is it on right now? If its unchecked, check it. If its checked, uncheck it.
I don't use Instagram, I do have the app and its checked and I can take a picture and it shows it just fine. I have read this problem in another thread and thats what they suggested and it worked.

Real quick question regarding at the moment all AOSP ROMs and Instagram.. Is anyone having an issue where when taking a pic the picture is captured ok, you can crop it and add effects but when going to actually post the picture where you add description and location the picture is just all black??
I use Instagram very very frequently for work and as well for my kids and family...
If anyone else experiencing the issue please post back and or if any work arounds available please give me a heads up...
Thanks XDA!!

I experience this too. I thought it was the app itself and that a fix is coming.
Turns out I'm not alone

as i have stated it is the same as camera shutter
if you want to use your own screenshot sound, you can go into /system/media/audio/ui/ and find it in there
Hi guys, can anyone tell me what does the setting located immediately under the QR scan setting? All this inside Camera app settings. In English should say something like "Save the original picture too" (I have my phone in Spanish). I have this activated, but no idea what it suppose to do. Thanks!
Hmm for example u edited a photo I think it will save the original photo just if u mess up.

I understand, so it seems more like a gallery setting than a camera one. I will try this to be sure. Thanks

This happens generally in certain apps that don't want you to take screenshots. There's no issue in your phone or the ROM it's running . It is the app that is stopping the screenshot from being taken.

And,
Is the screen resolution will have an effect with screenshot due to privacy policy?
Its work on HD resolution, and not work on FHD resolution above.

Screenshot feature probably doesn't support FHD, the front and rear camera on your device probably support FHD along with supporting FHD for videos/photos that you've downloaded(if they were created using an FHD compatible device).
