Asus and custom rom - Eee Pad Transformer Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi I just have a question, before I installed CROMI when I read on mangawatcher app the scrolling was always laggy, and afterwards it is smooth as hell! How come Asus does not make their own device as smooth as it can be?

Because ASUS don't care about the user experience, they made that perfectly clear to us TF101 owners

Oh sorry I was going to send this to the tf700 part of the forum, I will repost it there so no need to answere this thread anymore.

How to adjust the Dock Trackpad Pointer Speed?

Does anyone know how to adjust the dock's trackpad pointer tracking speed?
It's a bit too zippy for my comfort.

Settings-Language and Input->Pointer speed - it's the last option on that screen.

Sweet I was looking for the same thing. Thanks

tf300 jellybean ota kills ezoverclock?

Just upgraded to jellybean on my tf300 but now when I try to install ezoverclock it freezes and reboots. Is there a workaround or an updated apk? I hope the dev is working on something, jellybean is nice and snappy and my i/o scores doubled but my games are slower and my antutu score droped over 2000 points! I cant believe one one has posted anything about this yet, how am I the first one?
it has been posted several times in a lot of the jb threads ezoverclock causes bootloops

Sorry I mean that there was no specific topic about ezoverclock not working anymore .They have mentioned it as a problem after the update but no one has really talked about it not working and fixing it. And I'm freaking out cause I pretty much live on this thing and use ezoverclock constantly, keeps my emulators and video converter running fast.

I guess the best option is to post on the original ezoverclock thread.

Good bye warranty

Screw it. I'm unlocking, should I use cromi or cm10.1?

Probably a good choice -- lots of threads on it already, however. Strictly speaking it all comes down to personal preference. Just to repeat myself: CROMI if you just start out, maybe try something else later. I stay on CROMI.
You can also try one out for a bit, back it up using recovery, and flash a new rom . that way if you don't like one or the other you can restore it in like 5-10 minutes time depending on the amount of apps you had. I also second cromi first and try other ROMs after you work with it for a little.

Rom: CleanRom 3.4.4
I decided to go with cromi first. I've used cyanogenmod on both of the smartphones I've owned and I love it. I'll probably switch to that eventually

That's how I ended up with my own build of CM10.1 on my TF700. I would highly recommend it having voided my warranty before even getting the device back home and subsequently trying everything else. But to each their own.. Good luck!
i think im going to switch to cm10.1 just because i prefer lots of customizations. and I really love cyanogenmod

Madden 25

Anyone playing madden 25 out there?
New to the tf700 but I flashed Cromi-X and seems pretty fast but madden is painfully lagging at the start of each play. Runs in slow motion. Could be a slow connection but does that even make sense.
Would love to get some feedback from other users.
Yes I am in performance mode.

Yea I have been experiencing the same here and its really Laggy. Nothing u can do, to my knowledge, that works. Some games work really well and others lag like hell... must be an optimization issue

I've been trying a lot of things since I am new to this tablet and wanted to report what's worked well to get this game going.
First CROMi-X with hunds OC kernel helps a lot. The stutter is a lot less but still noticeable.
What works well to get the speed and FPS to a good level is to use the Cromi tools and change the resolution to the TF300 (1280x800). I don't even re-boot just make the change and then load the madden game. When I'm finished I change it back. No need to reboot.
Not elegant but it does make the game playable. Now if they could only dump the on-line BS.
Thanks for all of the suggestions.
