CM10.1
GAPPS Collection
Installation Instructions:
Note:This ROM uses kexec kernel(3.0.8).Those of you who were getting the black screen problem with kexec kernel will get the same bug here.
Note:To be flashed via BMM only
BMM instructions:
See here if this is your first time multibooting with BMM.
Download and install BMM from google play https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...otmenu.manager
Our phone does not have a partition for internal storage.. so we use the data partition for it.. To do so, just open a root browser like root explorer and navigate to /etc/bmm/conf
Open "recovery.fstab" with a text editor
The last line will be something like this
/int vfat /dev/block/mmcblk1p25
Just change 'vfat' to 'auto' and 'mmcblk1p25' to 'userdata' (its the same though..)
So that it looks like this
/int auto /dev/block/userdata
and of course save it and close it..
Done.. you are good to go.. Happy Multi Booting..
Just some tips
On your first reboot, tap the android, go to settings-->System_2-->Partition setup and tap on ACTIVATE. This formats cdrom partition to ext2.
Now go back 2 two steps, and select any other system(3-6). choose Partition setup, tap on system.img, tap on Create, select the size, create it. go back and do the same with data.img and cache.img.
Once thats done, go back and select recovery, select switch system. choose your system that you created the images for, the colour will change, install any custom rom.. Enjoy!!
NOTE: BMM stores the images in internal memory(/int/clockworkmod/virtual/system_(num)). Since we dont have emmc partition and are using the data partition for /int, doing a factory reset will wipe it out and you will lose all your other roms.. So be carefull..
NOTE 2: USE ONLY SYSTEMS 3 TO 6 FOR CUSTOM ROMS.. SUSTEM 2 IS CDROM PARTITION.. YOU ACTIVATE IT ONCE AND DONE.. DONT TOUCH IT AGAIN.. ITS ONLY 12MB..
IMPORTANT NOTE: DO NOT INSTALL BMM IF YOU USED A2 BOOTSTRAPPER BEFORE. THAT WILL MESS THINGS UP WITH YOUR LOGWRAPPER.BIN. THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE YOU WILL BOOT LOOP AFTER REBOOT. NOW IF FOR SOME REASON YOU DID NOT READ THIS, AND GET A MESSAGE ABOUT BMM ASKING YOU TO GET HELP, BEST THING FOR YOU TO DO IS RECHARGE YOUR BATTERY FULLY AND FXZ BACK. OR THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE YOU WILL HAVE TO USE MCGRUVYER METHOD OR ANOTHER A2 BATTERY. USER RAD7 RECENTLY HAD QUITE A LOT OF TROUBLE WITH HIS BATTERY DYING AFTER BMM MESSED WITH LOGWRAPPER. YOU HAVE BEEN INFORMED.
Make sure you have BMM recovery.
Reboot and hit the droid at the BMM splash screen
Optional:
Tap on Settings
Create a new System by creating system, data and cache partitons.Delete the previous partitions if you have to(NOTE: You can skip this but it's better to do it this way)

I can try but I won't be able to test it since I've so many systems multi booting it'd be kinda very hard for me to give them all up.If you're up for testing maybe I'll try..

1. Should I wipe if I am already on CM 10.1 with kexec kernel 3.0.31?
2. What the difference between 3.0.8 and 3.0.31. Which one is faster? Which one is more stable?

Well it's hard to keep track of what aare the changes between this build and the wang's build. So you should better wipe.
Wait you mean the kernel 3.0.8 and 3.0.31???
3.0.8 is more stable.
Dunno if it's the kernel or CM but this buld is a lot snappier than the previous one.Check the benchmark for urself.

The kernel is already in the ROM .. you don't need to do anything beside installing it.

[ROM][WIP][Team NoOb.LuLz]Ligux Port[*UPDATED*]

INTRODUCE
So, what the hell is team NoOb.LuLz?...It's Kyndig66 and solrac1212 (yay) and me ^^...We're just some noob members and just try to port roms (not two devs honestly) but our main goal is try to translate some Chinese in Chinese roms that Erikmm's ported to this device. So, we just port roms for fun and try to translate it if we can (since we're still noobs now ) and I hope devs will help us ...Anyway, our port is not totally perfect (just a port, nothing more like tweaks or kernels or ice cream sandwich or cupcake...blah blah ) just serve people who wanna try something new (like Lewa OS that I can found similar to ^^), not who wanna request the perfect build for daily stuff when this is just our 1st build. But, our rom(s) IS NOT EXCLUSIVE as well since I know Erikmm is far far far far...la la la...far far far better from us and he will seriously port one of those Chinese roms for your daily purpose if he finds that would be necessary (our port is JUST FOR FUN or for new rom flavor).
About Ligux OS
This is Ligux OS, which is ported from HTC Desire official build.
It's based on CM7.2 R11.
It has some build.prop tweaks from Team Kickass's Mokee build 2.
The UI is exactly the same as CM7 except the Switches and Coopoui (find out yourself).
For me, It's smooth and not much Chinese.
Reboot to recovery isn't working.

I have to say: THIS IS AN MTD ROM...you MUST follow these steps to flash (Thanks Team Acid and Kickass for these instruction)
1 .Download the following:
efs-backup link : efs-backup
efs-restore link : efs-restore
Ligux rom
2. Place those three files in root of your sd card
3. Backup data with Titanium Backup or whatever app you use (optional)
4. Reboot to recovery
5. Do a Nandroid Backup
6. Flash EFS-Backup
7. Backup sd card to your computer ( you can do this by going to mounts and storage
and mount USB storage, this way you wont leave recovery and the efs backup is in there too)
8. Flash Ligux rom (it will start then reboot itself into blue cwm)
9. Go to Mounts and Storage
10. Format System
11. Mount System
12. Go back to main menu
13. Wipe data/factory reset
14. Go into Install zip from sdcard
15. Choose zip from sdcard
16. Flash efs-restore
17. Flash Ligux rom
18. Reboot.
19. Let it sit for 10 mins or so.
20. Enjoy.
.
.
.
I'm not quite sure it WILL boot :-"...LOL, JUST KIDDING, IT WILL BOOT
Optional: disable scrolling cache in CM7 performance settings for better feeling

Jeez! Is anyone keeping "score?" The Bible, good as it is one basics, is useless in this regard. What we need is a chart (or maybe a family tree) showing which ROMs are related and what characteristics they have. Easier said than done by lazy and less adventurous bastards like me.

Question. Went through the directions and after I flashed legux, it will not boot at all. Did not boot back into recovery, and can not normal boot. As many times as I have flashed this phone, this is a new problem for me. On my way home to see if I can even Odin back, but I thought this was odd

Have you tried pushing the apk to \system\apps? Pinyin was developed by Google China Labs hence the layout. You can use whichever keyboard you prefer. lumin30 has all of the stock gingerbread apk's here. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1500701

This is an ongoing developer project to make way for a modification that will entirely transform your device, but retain the aesthetics and the experience of your phone. I know you've seen tablet mode roms before, they change two lines in your build.prop file which you could easily edit yourself in seconds and maybe throw a keyboard in there to make it work better. It's a start, but this ain't enough. This thing has potential, but it is wasted the moment you try to stuff a full blown tablet into your poor phone. Yet we all know our high res phones can very well handle more than silly 1-column layouts. So the magic must be in between somewhere, a place that google must have overlooked and left blank. Yes, this rom strives to drop your device into tablet mode, but it won't stop there, it will reshape and redefine ics to make it all a usefull addition and not just a cute novelty. We're calling it: Hybrid mode, best of both worlds.

v1.6
Built from source - 10/7/2012 - 00:27:58
OTA app changed (This trashes OTA update, please download manually this version). More responsive methods
Merged latest CM changes, including a lot of fixes and improvements for device tree
Improvements on frameworks, fixed for once and finally all DPI related crashes
SystemUI mode can be configured now
Cleanup and speedup of hybrid code via native libs (I'd say 25%)
A lot more of changes, you can check them here: https://github.com/ParanoidAndroid
v1.5
Built from source - 25/6/2012 - 11:3:12
Removed AROMA installer, now using CM kernel, you can install any AOSP kernel
Improvements on OTA app, scheduled checkups
Improvements on Backup app, now it automatically launches on startup after you install a newer (or older) version
Hybrid speedup, less lag, considerably faster list scrolling when pad/pal is in action
Keyboard scaling, an androids first
PAD/PAL bugfixes for apps that still crop images in lower dpis
Settings revamp, speed preferences to switch between modes without having to set up anything, less clutter
Trebuchet extras: 3x4 widgets, speed dial menu button, ... and some weird rocket button which im sure will be very useful to most of you
Pad.prop revamp, new preferences that should pretty much nail it. Im sorry but this trashes your old settings again, do not attempt to restore them unless you do it in a text editor

3. 1% battery
4. weaker vibrate
5. SuperSU included
6. Beats Audio

etc.
I can't find the non-modified OTA.
I think it can be flashed in to MB865 phone just like ME865 flashing with MB865-zip.
WARNING 1 : You must have your phone flashed to ICS (mostly by RSD lite) before you flash this rom.
WARNING 2 : The rom may be over-and-wrongly-modified that made some RAM problem. I suggest you wait some clean roms.
P.S. The previous 04-Jul leaked version includes Both English and Chinese interface and I think this one has the same language module.

1)backup with boot menu custom recovery
2)wipe data and cache
3)flashed zip and reboot(it will erase bootmenu hijack but dont worry say goodbye to boot menu)
4)after system boots install bootmenu and install hijack again
:good::good:
first impression is very smooth, will reply if found any bug
I was under the impression boot menu couldn't flash large zips. Basically over 100 mb, much less than a rom. Give us a screeny.

it ur choice dont blame me if something goes wrong, actually i am "flasholic" so i try to flash every rom "at my own risk".
Bootmenu can be installed once the rom boot
Sent from my ME865
Just a thought
why not use the system keeper option in boot menu instead of saying goodbye to boot menu
that way if something goes wrong you can still get into recovery
it may work

Please clarify
Can someone lease tell me the prerequisites for this rom..
im seeing many comments to this thread and nothing of substance...
do u have to have some sort of ics leak already installed..
or can u just flash via cwm...
i dont have bootmenu installed..
so please anyone can you clarify this..
and list some sort of step by step....

Want to flash another Kernel, such as KT? Install/flash the attached zip in same session as your Kernel Flash
I interoperated fixes for the power button issue, not the revert that is currently being used by Kernel devs. The fixes I interoperated are not "officially" merged into CM, thats why Kernel devs dont have what it needs to light the display of Slim. I guess this is my bad for trying to be ahead of the game
Flashing the attached file in the same recovery session as your kernel flash will "light the display". This is tested with KT, not tested with LK...
look above for fixes ^
I've looked hard, I believe ,but don't see d2vzw in the downloads list.

My apologies, getting it up now
OK see post #2 for links to d2vzw and NFC Patch until I get them in correct locations
How's this vs cm10 nightlys? What doesn't work? Is there call echo. NFC support. Volume control on phone calls functional? Auto brightness work?

Based off AOSP with pulls from CM/AOKP. Post 2 has link for NFC patch so yeah. Make a back up, U no like, U restore. I have no echo, havent checked volume on calls. Im a set it and leave it user, also never use auto brightness so that I havent checked either. A general rule of thumb in early AOSP development, if its broke on one then it broke on them all. There are a $hit load of options in ASS (Advanced Slim Settings) and developer options. OP will be updated in due time, wanted to get this out for everyone to use

Somewhat, it has files/apps that are used across all supported devices. If you were to flash d2vzw and gapps instead of common you would be in a bootloop from Hell. You can flash another gapps set after common (recommend after you boot once), like inverted or something. but common is a must...
I am really excited about trying this ROM out. Are these steps correct?
1. Factory reset. Wipe cache. Wipe dalvik.
2. Flash d2vzw.zip
3. Flash common.
4. Flash Google now.
5. Flash charge ani and extras.
Boot up
Recovery again. Flash inverted gapps.
Reboot.
Sound right? Thanks
Shhh.. my Galaxy is a little Paranoid

 I seen the nexus 7 in your signature, lol. Thanks, there are tons of new options compared to ICS Slim ROM. krarvind is the master mind behind Slim ROMs. I am just maintaining this device (d2vzw) as he has quite a few devices he supports.
Possible GPS Fix, Stay tuned
Smoothest ROM yet! I'm running K747 oc 1998 max 144 min ondemand, and everything seems to be functional. SMS GPS MMS phone calls no echo, all working for me. Thanks for this.

For many small is normal, if you were to run it as is for a few days you would never go back to the BIG icons. But to answer your question, yes. Go into settings and select Developer Options (at bottom) then select LCD Density, click 320 and reboot

Install a rom with bmm then reboot then factory reset then flash the rom and gapps. After it boots up use terminal emulator to switch recoveries as mentioned in the OP.

Yes, I think you should be fine installing the ROM with a2bootstrap. It should just remove bootstrap and force install bmm. And since this will be on your 1st system, afterwards you could use the recovery_switch to go to the cm-defy recovery (it's similar to the bootstrapped cwm).
But, this is all in theory since I have not exactly tested it on this ROM yet..
Sent from my MB865 using xda app-developers app
EDIT: Yes, you may install this ROM on 1st system with A2Bootstrap - personally tested and confirmed.
