[App][Game][2.2+] Modern Snake - an experiment how Javascript & Co works for Apps - Android Apps and Games

I want to introduce my App "Modern Snake" which is a modern approach to the classic Snake game which features a large playing area, fresh design, different levels and settings and also a 2-player mode on one device!
The player can control the snake which is moved on the large playing area that fills the entire screen either by swiping or using buttons.
Features:
- minimalistic and elegant design based on Android's “Holo” theme
- large playing area that fills the entire screen
- different levels
- simple control by swiping or by buttons
- enabling sound and adjust speed
- highscore and the ability to share the score
- two-player mode on one device
- ad-free
Play-Store-Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.jsapps.modernsnake
I made this app for testing how HTML, CSS and Javascript bundled with a native Javascript Interface wrapped in a Webview as a app works for Android. I think that it is working quite well and without any great drawbacks (at least for me...).
So, if you have any questions or found bugs or general feedback, you can leave a message here or send me an email.
And if you like the game, share it and feel free to leave a positive review in the Play Store!

Been playing this for a while now. I really like the clean look of the interface. Also, the most recent update seems to have helped the response to input greatly.
One suggestion, might you consider adding a timed mode (in addition to the normal game, not replacing it)? I found in playing, especially in the slower setting, that you can always take the safe way around. However, in a mode where there is a definitive timer, players would be motivated to get to the next block as quick as possible. It's a small suggestion, but I think it would add a new dynamic.
Again, great game. Thank you.

Update:
We are thinking (and testing) about implementing an easier control mode for this game, based in touching the screen where you want to send the ball and then the ball goes there (auto aim and shot). What do you think? The actual control mode would be switchable ingame too.
The game has been updated and the new and easier control is now implemented!

[GAME][2.1+] SliBlo 1.1

Hi reader,
Yesterday I published a game called SliBlo on the android market Since I am a beginning, non-professional programmer I thought it to be a good place to start here and ask for your opinion of the game.
This is the game: SliBlo is short for Sliding Blocks. You have to eliminate all the blocks in the game and have to do this in fewest amount of clicks. All blocks connected to you choose one will disappear if they carry a similar symbol. To make sure you dont waist any clicks, you can slide the blocks! Simply turn the device and the blocks will fall down like they would in a real box in your hand. Use a strategic combination of clicking and rotating to get a nice high score.
Features:
- tutorial
- 4 levels (inc tutorial)
- adapable themes
- statistics bookkeeping (how many degrees you have turned your device, scores etc)
- help page
Will you download SliBlo, give a opinion so that I can improve the game even more and you have a game on your phone that can be played especially when you are board or waiting .
I publish games so that other people can enjoy them, Iam not a professional and work alone, so I problebly my game can not compete with those in the market that are in the top10(0)! But I may dream about it

Hello, fellow, who is too working alone and dreaming that one day he could maybe compete with the big fish of the market
You game looks amazing, plays amazing and you're, probably, amazing too Really, while it is quite simple, it does look pretty good and works well. And there's something neat about sound of wooden blocks falling on each other. So relaxing.
One thing I've noticed, that the quality of menu letters (Samsung Galaxy Tab 7) and letters of level results is quite bad. If you're using Paint to draw latter ones you should use setAntiAlias to make them smoother.
Good luck!
I didn't enable setAntiAlias indeed! going to put in and publish it with the next update.
Thanks for looking at my app, most often it are these little things that can improve an app

[APP][2.1+] Multi-Task

Here is a minimalistic brain function app that i'm currently developing. "Multi-task is an app that helps improve cognitive function by teaching your brain how to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at the same time. By using a flashcard and confusion technique we can force your brain to make the most efficient choices based on the tasks you face and how long you have to complete them, while stimulating specific areas of the brain to create what is known as a 'hot brain'".
The idea here is to try and make you split your attention while making you conduct critical decisions to be able to let you navigate your mind a lot better than before (think lumosity on steroids without the drawback of having static events).
Features:
- FREE
- Minimalist design
- Levels focused on different trains of thought
- Online Profile
- Graphs and statistics for your brain
- Leaderboards
- Works best on ART runtime (Android 4.4+ only)

I would like some feedback in terms of features and different timings that users can handle. I'm planning on adding multi-player (for those that just want to use it as a game), multiple user profiles on one device, more levels and themes. I would even like to be able to allow people to create their pack/levels if they want to. If there are any bugs i'd like to know to iron them out before I put this app on the Play Store.

Updated the app to include high scores right after a level. Also to bump this from the thread cemetery.
Bug: brain pack freezes up when showing all three puzzles
Hi!
I like the concept of your game but I've encountered a strange bug.
It happens once I get to all three puzzles being shown, and it seems to happen most often when the paradox "This sentence is false" is shown.
The game seizes up and I can't select anything any more, or exit for that matter.
A general usability feature would be to be able to cancel/exit the game once started. Having to kill the game is a bit annoying
The concept is quite interesting, can't wait to see how you develop it further!

[GAME][2.3+] Ready Steady Teddy - my first (puzzle) game. Begging for feedback!

Hi,
I am hobby/evening+weekends programmer and I would like to present my first game called "Ready Steady Teddy" - get it for free from Google Play.
Here is a short game-play video (I hope you will like my fiancee's amazing acting):
And some screenshots:

In the game you need to tap two tiles with the same character on them - e.g. two tiles with eyes. Once tapped (and some special conditions are met which you can read in the instructions about) the tiles merge to form a new tile with more details - e.g. nose, ears, body etc. On the first level, as the name suggests, this eventually lead you to create a teddy bear, but the game has additional three levels with different animals and board shapes. My (very biased) friends really liked so it would be great to get some more objective feedback.
I have built it using LibGDX - I wanted to use an engine that was as low level as possible for my set of skills, before I move to the likes of Unity (if I have to). LibGDX proved to be really straightforward and I would have definitely used it for this purpose once more.
Current planned enhancements (if only I had more time!):
- Sound effects and maybe background music
- Leaderboard via Facebook
Thank you very much to all that would give it a go!
I look forward to hearing your comments/questions/threats/everything else!
Cheers,
Chris
Sharing on Facebook
I was wondering what is the best way to persuade others to share the info about the game on Facebook. Currently I am using a technique that if someone posts a link and this link is clicked three times, a bonus level will be unlocked. What do you think about it?
Sharing in general
Currently when user clicks share a whole bunch of possibilities are displayed such as email, twitter etc. I was wondering whether anyone users anything else than Facebook. Maybe it would be useful to limit the possibilities to make sharing easier?
Has anyone downloaded it? If not, why - does it look uninteresting, boring, not your favourite genre?
Finally!
Added a gameplay video and direct link to Google Play - should be easier to find it. Many thanks to all who tried it, it really means much to me.
*bump*

[GAME] LiBi Ball - A ball game made on top of a new kind of 3D engine

Hi! My name is Ericka; I have been developing a fun little 3D game: LiBi Ball ("libiball" on Google Play). The gameplay is still fairly basic at this point, but the technology behind it might just be revolutionary.
To find the app on the Google Play Store, please search as follow: "libiball"
I developed a whole new kind of 3D engine which I call the LiBi Engine. Thanks to a new technique I came up with to construct 3D space, the engine can render very complex and fully dynamical environments in real-time, even on phones (well, only those supporting Vulkan).
This game is an opportunity to demonstrate the technology; as such, it is still very much experimental and not exactly stable - but - I will keep on improving both the game and the engine, and will add levels and new elements to the gameplay as often as possible.
By the way, the app contains neither adds nor data collection. In fact, you don't need an internet connection at all.
Hi Ericka,
I would suggest you to put a link here to your game and add some screenshots from the game.
Fatal crash
It crashes my OP7TP instantly. I have to reset it via key combinations.

I would love to, but I am not allowed yet; I need to post some more first. I am not much of a forum person, but I'll try my best!
As soon as I get permission, I will do so.

I am really sorry; there are still a few problems with the app. I will be releasing an improved version in about two days. Please look forward to it.
In fact, I will be updating the app very often in the future; adding new features, improving the visuals, adding new levels, etc.
It has been a long journey, but the game is finally ready for prime time release! The gameplay will keep on evolving, but it is already very enjoyable. Please give it a second try!
