well if you want the full use of data2sd by ungaze then the first step is partition your sd card after you do that then i would suggest flashing a your rom fresh and whatever MODs you have after you have flashed all mods and your ROM {please reboot between each MOD} then finally flash ungazes data2sd if you did it right you will have a large performance boost and more space for apps for example i had a 16 gig sd card made 2560 mb partition and now after flashing data2sd i have 1.7 gigs of apps space and a quadrant score of 2300 so if you have questions then PM me

Hi all,
Currently I'm using CM7 and install ungaze data2sd on my phone. I already have ext2 file and my phone shows additional internal memory. I then install apps without any problem and once done, I try to reboot it. However, I found that those apps which installed earlier on were gone. Can anyone help me with this?
Addition, when I check the sd card, I found an d2sd folder and inside it have unknown files named error_0222120031, error_0222120039, error_0222120122 and error_0222120143. Can anyone help me with this?
missing market??
After flashing ungaze... I reboot then somehow my market app is missing but when i used the search function i can still search it and use it... Then after two reboot (not necessarily simultaneous) i got my market back... Using nightly four e 4.2 with ta.gb 1.2 kernel...

I disagree ..
My suggestions -
1) use ungaze v5 (not v2)
2) wipe dalvick cache before flashing it..
It doesn't matter whether it's Fresh rom or not..
I have used ungaze with having more than 120mb worth apps previously

follow this steps from here:
2. Prepare your SD card, using MiniTool Partition Wizard Home Edition,
a. move all existing data on the SD Card to your PC and delete all files from it. RESIZE your existing FAT32 partition to a size where your unallocated space is at least 1GB but not more than 2GB.
b. Create a new ext4 Primary partition using all the unallocated space.
c. Apply changes
(I've written RESIZE in CAPS because when I tried deleting and creating the FAT32 and ext4, my phone didn't recognize the formatting as valid. So I allowed the phone to reformat the sd card and then did it using resize FAT32 instead)

I recently did the vold.fstab swap of my SD and external SD card locations. I like it very much, but the amount of time it takes to mount the external SD is ridiculous. After every reboot it takes about two extra minutes just to see all the apps and data on it. And when ever I remove it and reboot it usually freezes the lockscreen, then reboots, and only then spends another two minutes searching for all the data. Is this a common problem with this swap method, and if it is, is there any fix for it?

Ya it will take longer to scan because it has to scan every file on ur sdcard now to run correct including any game files and such before the files were internal and ur read speed will always be faster that way... But what I do is just simplify the file system delete all files u don't need put music in a music folder and pix in ur dcim folder and so on because the more files and file folders u have the longer it will take... also uneeded backups will make it take longer because they r so big... Another thing is when u have them swapped it seems to scan for errors much longer too... And it depends on ur read write cache too I always make sure there's an init.d script or build prop script for 2048kb or more... And one last thing to consider is the class and quality of ur sdcard I have a Samsung class 10 8gb and it's never steered me wrong and if u have a off brand or lower class sd it will corrupt more and Def will give u headaches
So good luck hope I helped
