Surface Pro auto hibernate settings? - Microsoft Surface

Just got my Surface Pro and I am trying to figure out how to prevent it from going into hibernation after 30 minutes of sleep. Supposedly it's in power settings but I can't for the life of me figure out how to change the time. Anybody know how to do this?

Power Options -> Change Plan Settings -> Change Advanced Power Options. It's under Sleep.

I guess that this would work :
1. + -> State -> Display -> Display State -> Set to Off
2. New task : Name it 3G-Off -> + -> Mobile Data -> Set to Off
3. Add Exit task -> Name it 3G-On -> + -> Mobile Data -> Set to On
If this didn't worked then you should maybe try this :
Profile 1: Display off
How-To
Event -> Display -> Display off

Variable -> Variable Set

Tasker -> IF% ~ 1 PSAFE
Net -> Car Rental
Set: Off
Net -> Mobile Data
Set: Off

Profile 2: On Display
How-To
1. Event -> Display -> Screen unlocked

I mean something like the touchwiz blocking mode for notification or like iOS. When there is a new notification/call/SMS no sound is played and the screen stays off.
The problem with the touchwiz toggle is that it only works with call and SMS so I'd like to replicate a complete behavior with tasker

regarding the wifi-auto-on feature using cell near, its not that accurate, actually its the least accurate location profile context but also the least battery draining. so let me share what i've done with that.
Profile -wifi home:
screen on
+
cell near(walked around my house)
+
wifi near(selected my ssid)(make sure you have wifi toggle selected)
the point of this is that it wont scan for wifi while screen off and it will first try to match all the context in an order. so first the screen has to be on, then the cell towers must be near and lastly the wifi AP must be close, for the wifi to turn on. This eliminates the possible battery drain if you try using only wifi near and poor accuracy by the only cell near context. in my town, there is a shopping center quite near and when i walk past it, my goddamn cell near context was switching wifi AP's all the time, which made me loose my nerves. so i added the wifi-near context and voila!. the wifi turns on when im a few meters from my house.
Galaxy S4 has an Accessibility Setting bug which makes it turn on Talkback and you cant turn it off. It also trigger many other bugs.
I knew about Tasker but it doesn't work right on S4. In fact any app that requires Accessibility enabled doesn't work.

Am I wrong or if you use wifi near you must create a task for every ssid that you need?
Instead by using cell near it is possible to set more cells with the same task.

what? . you just select the wifi ssid in the context. there are three contexts, one entering(wifi on) and one exiting task(wifi off). thats it.

You can't do that on silent mode only but maybe you can set a timer : so you can put silent hours and creat a task that contain : 1. Slient mode on and 2. Send to .. - there's also another methode and it doesn't require any timer.

You will have to creat a new context so you can choose your home ssid it means that you will have 2 profiles : one for the specific ssid and the other for the location-connect

Screen Staying On

Hey guys hope someone can provide some insight.
Since upgrading to 4.4.3 via ota, flashing supersu and re-enabling xposed, my screen does not automatically timeout. It will stay on until I touch the power button to put it on standby.
I assumed it was an app so I've uninstalled anything new and still no change.
I have no clue what is preventing my device from sleeping. Any help would be appreciated.

Few things to try out.
1. Set display to time out after 1 min. Then reboot your phone. See if problem reoccurs.
2. Settings -> Developer Options -> Stay awake (make sure this is not checked)
3. Check if you have apps installed that has permission to keep the screen on, even if it is not the active app on screen.
4. Settings -> Applications -> Running (kill any unnecessary running apps) (might help if you do the same for cached processes)

Keep Screen On

Hello all,
Is there option, under Lollipop 5, to keep the Nexus 5 screen on indefinitely. I see the max in Display settings is 30 minutes. When I am in my car, using the navigation, its a pain to have the screen go to sleep. There used to be a way, using Xposed in 4.4, to do this. Wondering if anyone has found a way to do it in 5.
Thanks,
Steve

Turn Off Wifi during sleep mode

Hey guys,
I just need to know all the options available in HAM7 in order to switch-off the WI-FI whenever I pressed the lock-button or screen is off or phone in sleep mode?
However, Can anyone tells me how long does the phone needs to enter the "sleep mode" if it's screen timeout is set to 15seconds + all apps are protected "restricted" from (Running in background + Push-notification)?
Thanks

Hey Alex,
Thanks for your help, but i think there is already an option in the Huawei Ascend mate 7 phones for doing such thing but i can't really find it, the reason that i don't need to download any (Battery Saving Programs, that the phone is packed with the same utility too! called "Phone Manager") ,, it was working with me, but seems to be i done something (disable something or protect something "Restricting it") from doing it's normal function that i still don't figure it out what is it!
Thanks for your reply, I've tried this app and i wasn't knew what does "Smart WIFI" means until Now, so i would make it my last choice to download this app again, in case if i didn't find a way to manage it within the phone settings.

Unfortunately, I've the same options on "Never (increase data usage)"
But still the wifi is on, that means either the phone doesn't enter into sleep mode after 2-10mins or more or either it's not the option we're looking for!

Yeah, same here, I tested on 'Never' and I have the same result, so don't worry it's not from your phone, probably it's from the firmware I guess.
You can test the Smart Wi fi option from the Smart Battery Saver app to see if it works.

As you can see in the following picture it's my settings, without using the app "Smart Battery Saver" suggested by member in previous comments the device couldn't been able to Switch WIFI automatically, unless I use the app provided.
However, the phone was working properly but I don't know what happened to that option later on.
All my apps is restricted from running on background and app notification is restricted too, Sync is switched off. I wonder what eels remained.. lol
I found option to control Wi-Fi in the Viber application settings (you can see this option on the attached screenshot). May be you using something app like this?
And IMHO restrictions working only for automatic memory clearing if it's not enough for active application, but I could be wrong.

It seems to be doesn't work, I've tried it just in few minutes, and changed my display screen time-out for 15-seconds to go to sleep quickly, still it doesn't work after several minutes, so my question is for (How long does the phone consume from time to "enter sleep mode/device WI-FI switched Off") with your phone?

I think it must be in sleep mode at least 5 to 10 minutes. If you just turn off the screen and turn back on, the wifi will not disabled. Test it. Let the phone off for 5-10 minutes to have time to enter sleep mode. If you want to disable the wifi immediately every time you turn off the screen, the only solution is that app.

Vivo nex powering off itself when not in use

Hi
Pretty sure the AI is powering off my phone when it sits in idle for more than 3hrs... ...which is super odd..
Only happens in the evenings though... super strange...anyone else having an issue like this? If i turn on Airplane mode it does not happen
The only time I can go without using my phone for three hours is during sleep time. When I wake up the next morning my phone is still on. How's the battery life when you turn it back on?
Seems like you have scheduled/off feature turned on. Go to Settings> More Settings > Task Timer> Scheduled On/Off and check if you have anything active there.
