Phone Unresponsive - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

I was running CWM with Cyanogenmod 522 today when my phone started acting up. During the day, the power button was acting funny. When pressed, it would go to black screen but then instantly pop back to lockscreen. I never got that problem fixed. Recovery would never boot no matter how I tried to boot it up. A few minutes ago, I tried rebooting the phone. It turned off and now no matter what I do, I cant get any response from my phone. No vibrations or anything. Upon plugging into my pc, it tries to install the driver: QHUSB_DLOAD but fails shortly. How can I get my phone working again? Please help!

Can you get into odin mode? If not, its probably a hardware issue. Try and get a replacement

[Q] Bricked my infuse :(

Hello! I just recently got my infuse, I had serendipity build 3 and I wanted to give MIUI a try (people said it had worked) and my cwm began to install then proceeded to say it was checking something but I can't quite recall what it was. I know it was a noob move but plea don't badger me, help ASAP would be greatly appreciated. It doesn't boot, the samsung logo shows up then "galaxy s" for a split second. When I attempt to connecty charger it goes into an endless bootloop every few seconds. I am not at my computer but will be in a few hours, as I am on vacation. Thank you very much to anyone who helps.

Probly not bricked, did you do a full wipe before flashing?
Try booting into recovery again and wipe data/factory reset
And wipe catch..
Hope it helps..

to flash miui follow these instructions
Flash with cwm, then when it won't reboot pull battery and boot by holding volume up down and power. Flash miui again and then wipe cache factory reset, then reboot
This doesn't belong in Development. Take this to the Q&A forum.
I know that sounds rude, but cluttering this forum with posts from people that can't follow the rules is what makes it harder to find what you are looking for.
Depending on your situation though. You should be able to hold down the volume buttons and then hold down the power button until it reboots, let go of the power button and boot into CWM. Conceivably from there you can flash a compatible ROM and kernel and be good to go.
Be aware though that in the future posts of this nature should be put in the Q&A forum.
Good luck.

Help, think I bricked my phone?

Ok, so I was running valhalla the past week, wanted to try something different so I was running octane v3 for a day and realized it was extremely slow. I wanted to go back to stock so i read on a couple pages a few ways to do so.. i saw this one and thought it was the easiest it was just a download http://sourceforge.net/projects/tea...B releases/Offical GB 2.3.6-Odin.rar/download
now my phone got stuck in a boot loop, i turned the phone off and back on and now I'm stuck at a screen that has a phone, a caution symbol, and a computer next to it...
i can't get the phone into download mode.. please someone help
Try reading any of the 12 threads with this exact same problem posted in the last week (meaning go back to the q&a section and scroll down)

trust me I have read all those posts and have read through the bible... am still having difficulties just looking for help
That is download mode. Just another screen for it. Usually get that after an Odin fail. Run Odin and plug in the phone to see if Odin recognizes the phone. If it does Odin another rom.
oh wow thank you I got it to work. had a couple fails saying mounts were incorrect, maybe from when i changed it for Octane, thank you for the help. i panicked lol.

[Q] Bad CWM flash, can't boot to anything

I've been running Slim Bean 2.7 with the latest Gapps package (released 10/04). I was having trouble switching between 3g and 4g so i thought I would reinstall SB and Gapps. To do this, I started by flashing CWM Touch but i apparently had a bad download. When i tried to boot into recovery after flashing CWM, I found that my phone flashed the Samsung screen with the blue text in the top left corner but then flashed off and stopped responding. I tried removing the battery but it continues to do the same thing. Any suggestions? Thanks for your help.
Can you get to download mode? If so, odin flash back to stock, take the ota, root and unlock and try again. I've been using the new TWRP and its fantastic so far.

Fortunately since you get a boot splash you should be able to recover with Odin, as suggested. Always always check md5 on ROM and recovery downloads.
I appreciate the quick repsonses everyone. It seems that I was able to interrupt the bootloop (I'm not sure if I'm using that correctly) by booting into download mode, restarting, and booting normally. I'm poorly versed in development, but I'm still trying to learn more about the ins and outs of my phone so I run into trouble from time to time. These forums are life-savers. Thanks again.

[Q] Not Authorized Message

I am Stock rooted, and unlocked. I downloaded and flashed the new Stock rom. I am now getting the System software not authorized. When it boots. I cannot get into odin or recovery. It keeps going back to the not authorized message.
Any help would be appreciated
You didn't unlock your bootloader right. Now you have to start over, remove your battery and put it and and hold power volume down and home and get into download and your gna have to Odin back to a previous version of touchwiz.

Pull battery, SIM and SD cards and leave phone for a while. I used a piece of bare metal and shorted all the battery connections in the phone (battery still removed) to speed this up. I was then able to boot back into download mode for Odin. Hope this helps.

[Completed] Galaxy S4 i9500 Bootloop without Recovery Mode

Hi,
The problem I have is really very common to most Samsung Galaxy users, but I haven't found any solution to my particular problem. Well, basically my Samsung Galaxy won't get out of bootloop. It just won't go beyond Samsung Galaxy SIV I9500 screen. The phone never did this before this. The phone did, however, rebooted occasionally by itself when running normally.
My phone is rooted, but it runs the official version of Lollipop for Galaxy S4. I had to factory reset my phone one day, and I decided it to reset from the Recovery Mode. After successfully resetting the phone, it booted as usual. Soon after it suddenly turned off, and went into this complete bootloop and would not stop until I remove the battery. Whenever I insert the battery back in, the phone starts by itself, without me pressing any button, and goes in the bootloop again. I can only enter the Download Mode that too for a couple of seconds. When entering the download mode I don't have to press the power button.
Is there any solution to this? I am assuming that my power button suddenly failed. The power button is definitely not stuck. I have opened the entire phone and cleaned the motherboard, and rechecked, it still showed the same problem.
Really appreciate any kind of help.

Really appreciate the prompt reply. My bad, sorry. Not quite familiar with XDA Forums. I have posted a similar question there. We should end this thread.
