Coming from a Note 2, I found this devices battery to be below par. If you don't care about size or weight, this is the battery for you.
I consider myself a heavy user, at least. Always on lte, always on the Internet whether it's the xda app or my reddit app.
This is from an average day. I listened to music for about 2 hours, I was in the doctors office for 3 hours and was on the phone on reddit practically the entire time. Brightness was on 50 to 70 percent.
Gimmick things where off (smart stay, ect) but I clearly could have had it all on.
Ask any questions and I'll be happy to answer!

Is Anker generally better than Mugen Power Battery?

I read that T989 users where able to use this battery. Although it's a tight fit with the original back plate. Its 2100 mah and sold by Verizon for 25 bucks. I'm assuming that the T989 battery is the same as the i727. Anyone tried it?

I'm also curious about this. I currently use a PowerSkin case for extended battery life (which is awesome btw) but it would be cool to have this too!

The two batteries are identical in size & function.
But the Skyrocket & T989 battery covers are very different. So while this Nexus battery is too large to allow the T989 battery-cover to fit over it, it could be worse or better for the Skyrocket.
The skyrocket is definitely thinner than the 989. My bro has the 989 and I tried my skyrocket otterbox on it and it wouldn't close all the way. Just thinking the battery cover would definitely not fit.
If the cover doesn't fit, people who has a case, may leave it like without the cover...
Although, I wouldn't do that. I'll prefer to look for a battery that fits perfectly.
It sure does fit! Really snug and a slight lift on the sides. But the battery cover snaps on fine. Great 25 dollar investment. I'll post some pics in a bit.

Thanks. I just ordered one for my phone.
I just got back from the verizon suite to try it. the right side of my cover closed fine but although the left side would close, you could see
The battery poking through the thin plastic cover and the left side kept popping open.
Also noticeably heavier.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using xda premium
I snapped the battery case bottom, top, left, then right. (Reminds me of the Contra code) The left side is shut but it bulges out a bit like the picture. I have a case on it so it doesn't matter. But I guess if you run it naked, then it might matter to you.

battery life before and after battery switch?
Thanks for this. Going to go pick one up tomorrow from verizon. I can get a solid 12 hours minimum from the stock SR battery. the extra juice should help it tremendously.
Picked up a battery today. Will report back after tomorrows full battery cycle.
Thanks, let us know. I'm guessing it should probably make around a ~15% difference, so 12 hours x 0.15 = about an extra 1.8 hours.
I ordered one from Amazon, but it looks like I won't get it until next week. Should have just stopped by a Verizon store...

I think the last image is...that square thing on the left.
One second ill re add pics on the back and battery. There wont be a pic of it in the phone tho.
Just ordered one. I'll post my thoughts when I've used it.
I've seen several threads on here about the wireless charging "re-cycling" (flipping between charging, then not charging) of the DT-900 with the N4. The solutions I've seen on here don't seem to be working for me as I'm not 100% certain that is what's going on. Here's my situation:
N4, white one, so it's a new rev. Older revs of the N4 reported issues with this charger, but supposedly it was fixed with the newer revs.
CM 10.1
Stock kernal
Tried with a case, and without.
Daydream enabled/disabled
Completely flat surface. phone is not moving at all
So...I put the phone on the charger, positioned so the bottom of the charger extends a little less than 1/4 of an inch from the bottom of the phone (I've tried different positions on the charger with no change in results. From what I've read, this seems to be the sweet-spot for this combo.) The phone indicates that it's charging, flickers between charging and not charging 2 or 3 times, which from what I've read, is a positive reaction. Then, the charging light stays on from there. The battery screen reports "Charging Wireless" but it really is not charging. The battery does not seem to drain at all, but it does not charge. It just kinda hangs right at the 70% it was at when I dropped it on the charger. I left it there overnight a few times changing one thing at a time (case/no case, phone position, daydream on/off, etc.) and each morning, the battery would pretty much be at he same level it was at when I wen to bed.
Any ideas/recommendations?
Thanks!
Just got one of these for myself and I'm seeing exactly the same results you are. Says it's charging but it doesn't battery level has dropped at times while on it. I have had it on the charger with and without a case and no change. Hope somebody knows a trick cause i'm gonna feel dumb having wasted 50 bucks. I'm also on CM10.1, stock kernal.
I felt dumb wasting 50 bucks on it too. So I took it back to the AT&T store I got it from. If you can return it, do it. Then go straight to a Verizon store and get the LG wcp-300. I think that's the model number. 10 dollars cheaper, works way better.
Edit: Here is a thread on it.

I have a Seidio active case and tried it with it on and nothing, then tried it with just the silicon back and the charger activated but did not charge the phone. Same results as the Nokia charger, but it was half the price. I have the official bumper case and will see if it works with that.

If you are going to spend that much for a case, you should think about getting the one I linked.
It is cheaper and doubles as a charger.
I have it and love it.
You can look around and find one with the charger case and a battery for not too much more.
I am interested too. If we buy the "power pack" (changer cradle and battery in one pack) we can save money instead of buying the charger and the battery (that include the plastic case) separately. Unfortunately the power pack doesn't include the plastic case...

Carrying anything fragile in the same pocket as keys is reckless. A battery is a little hollow tin can with chemicals inside. If you dent or puncture it, you will have a pocket fire.
I have a little belt holster case which is used to hold the extra battery. Though it's not weather resistant, it holds the battery on the belt not in the pocket where the keys may short the battery.

Damn, I hope this gets to Europe soon, or especially Germany. I dont want to order in Korea or China. But the phone is too new here right now, there is literaly no accessories available at this point.
They are available in china, not actually a LG brand, but fits the LG battery, they have them in different sizes. these are direct from china and no online purchase, so no link will be available, I will try to get one and post a photo up.
I'm looking for a case similar to morphie or zerolemon cases. I did some research in ZL cases and Amazon US doesn't have any in stock, but Amazon UK and Amazon Germany do. Has anyone from the US ordered a Zero case from the UK or Germany ?
PS - I'm also looking for privacy screens...
I want total protection for this device. I beat my M8 all to hell and really don't want to risk damaging this phone.
PS2 - Does anyone have any information on good OTG cables...ID love to hook up some of my ext. HDDs and also any info on portable battery packs. I've always used anker, but I'd love to hear your thoughts. I'm thinking of buying an anker power bank....

I bought the Zerolemon case but it has a lot of defects, you should check out the Zerolemon thread - many issues, camera reflection, microphone issues, GPS dies while charging. I would assume Mophie will not be making a case for this phone. Zerolemon pulled the 6P case and will be sending those who purchased one a redesigned model.
So it's not worth it? Do you know of any similar cases or any case that is badass?

I think you'll like it. It's like an Otterbox with style.
As long as it's not ****ty like otterbox. I've had an Otterbox before and the damn thing fell apart after 7 months. It was entirely too bulky for me. I read that this seidio case can be streamlined and won't be bulky.

It is more streamlined than an Otter. It also leaves the face of our 6Ps unobstructed unlike Otterbox. Kind of moot considering Otterbox has never provided for Nexus devices. I like the Seidio because of it's minimal design. No faux vent, fake screws or Transformer like chevrons on it. I'm so tired of "rugged" cases looking like teenage boys gaming towers lol.
