Where to buy spare battery plastic case? - LG V10 Accessories

I noticed of you buy a spare battery it usually comes with a plastic cover to keep it in. Does anyone know where these can be bought? Or are they only available when you buy a spare battery?

I'm looking for just the protective case for the battery. Here's a pic.

You will have to get from Prime Gadget and it comes with the battery and case for only $39.00

Haha I guess that's my only choice.

If you are going to spend that much for a case, you should think about getting the one I linked.
It is cheaper and doubles as a charger.
I have it and love it.
You can look around and find one with the charger case and a battery for not too much more.

I am interested too. If we buy the "power pack" (changer cradle and battery in one pack) we can save money instead of buying the charger and the battery (that include the plastic case) separately. Unfortunately the power pack doesn't include the plastic case...

Right now the only way to get it is to buy the retail version of the spare battery, it comes with the plastic case.

That's a bummer since my battery hehe scratched up when in my pocket with my car keys.

Carrying anything fragile in the same pocket as keys is reckless. A battery is a little hollow tin can with chemicals inside. If you dent or puncture it, you will have a pocket fire.

I have a little belt holster case which is used to hold the extra battery. Though it's not weather resistant, it holds the battery on the belt not in the pocket where the keys may short the battery.

Damn, I hope this gets to Europe soon, or especially Germany. I dont want to order in Korea or China. But the phone is too new here right now, there is literaly no accessories available at this point.

They are available in china, not actually a LG brand, but fits the LG battery, they have them in different sizes. these are direct from china and no online purchase, so no link will be available, I will try to get one and post a photo up.

[Q] Case for G2 with 3500mAh extended battery

I’ve recently purchased a 3500mAh extended battery, and now I’m having trouble getting my G2 into any cases designed for a standard G2. Has anyone had any luck finding a pouch that will fit it? I was wondering if there is another phone pouch (perhaps designed for a 4”+ screen as there might be enough slack space to make up for the thick battery) that will work?

You can try the pouchs for g1 since g1 is a pretty thick phone.
If your looking for a case...then you probably won't find any
If you really need a case buy like a gel case from ebay and cut the back out so it will fit into your phone
Sent from my HTC Vision using Tapatalk
I might try a G1 case, but I noticed that the G1, along with being thicker than the G2 also appears to be somewhat less wide, owing to the smaller screen. I'm thinking that one may cancel out the other...
like what they suggested. I use the g1 oem pouch and it fits great.
How is the battery life? You can also try to get a regular g2 case and the just cut it, where the battery is.

This is what I ended up doing lol. I bought a silicone case from eBay for 1.50$ and then I traced the battery door. Used a knife to cut and I ended up with a case for the extended battery!
Post some pictures I would love to see the end product, and how is the battery life? Worth getting?

Its kinda blurry but you can kinda see it. You can see the the rubber rubbing off the case it came with due to the everyday usage. But I made a case that it'll fit lol.

Edit: Wikipedia just told me that ben's outlet is a subsidiary of onesaleaday. Go figure.
I've been using this sleeve for a few weeks now and it has become my primary means of transport for the TP. It is well built compared to many cases, has a smaller profile than I was expecting, and is padded well. If any of you are looking for a sleeve go for this and don't think twice. (Btw Ben's outlet has great customer service, as mine came with the corner crushed, so I sent them a pic in an email and rather than just telling me to send it back they just gave me a refund.)

As genuine as bonded leather can be.
Just got one of these cases from Bens Outlet. I like it a lot. The back and closing flap is covered in bonded leather... The front is a nylon fabric with a small pocket that can be used to carry head phones and such in. For $3 it's a good deal.

The cracks are forming in all four corners. April 13th-July 2nd.
this on top of rooting a phone and putting something like supercharged or Blazed will give god like battery life lol. nice link!
So far it seems that way. I managed to run it down to 50% that was using it all day.

Anyone who has this - how shock-resistant is the new backing? Would it in any way be roughly analogous to actually having a silicon/rubber Body Glove-esque case on it?

The corners of my cracked out. It didn't effect it staying on tho. I switched back to my oem bat and otterbox tho because I dropped my phone and smashed screen out so I fixed and didn't want to happen again lol.

Draco just released their HYDRA case for the S4. A non-Ducati branded case will be released next week as well. They look great, but it looks like they add quite a lot of width to the phone.
I ordered the new ElementCase Eclipse case, and if I don't end up liking that I'm going to order one of the Draco cases and give it a shot.

OEM means original equipment manufacturer, the complete opposite of fake. And yes, the fakes are out. But they're also usually really bad quality compared to the real ones.

New Airborne cases were released today. I like them much better than the HYDRA ones. And they're a bit cheaper too.
http://www.dracodesigninc.com/SearchResults.asp?Cat=1870
The Hydra cases are beautiful. However, that's a steep price to pay for a case, luxury item or not.
these case are very stunning looking. i just can't see spending that much on a case. there are far to many less expensive alternatives out there.

Is there a lip on either side? It looks flush is most pics. I was just wondering about lying it down and scratching up the camera cover or the front glass.

Their cases have almost no lay on table rim. They work nicely with glass screen protectors though.
So it makes your phone huge? uhh no thanks
dam almost 100 bucks just for a stinking case? I don't see myself ever shelling more than 50 bucks for a case

My understanding is that this is a bumper so the back is completely exposed (allowing wireless charging and NFC to work completely).

Yes, They're nice to look at. But it makes the phone wider, bigger at minimal protection

CaseMate Tough Naked

Just got this case from the UK and should be arriving tomorrow

There is no slot for the magnetic charging port, but I plan on trying to make my own hole. Do you guys have suggestions on how to cut out the polycarbonate shell? The rubber part should be easy, but I don't know how I should cut the polycarbonate. Should I heat it up and then try to cut it like that?
Thanks!

My experience with a TPU case (very similar to that case), was about using a soldering iron (like this: http: //csimg.mercamania.es/srv/ES/00001933974/T/340x340/C/FFFFFF/url/6400-soldador-de-estaao-30w.jpg ) to reshape the holes...

Yeah, and it SUCKS! Creates a white flare when taking pictures, a lot of dust gets under the cover and it makes your device bulky. But hey, I hope you might have a better experience with it!
Ow yeah, I forgot to most important one... It prevents the flap over the charging port to close properly about 80% of the time.
One more thing, you can't charge battery with the Sony Magnetic Dock DK32, phone with this case doesn't fit in it.

in the magentic dock you can remove the a part of the base to increase the space on the dock, have you tried that and the phone with the case still doesn't fit?
This was the first idea that I had, but I still doesn't fit - I'm talking about the case that LotoTutu called hard case for Z1 compact. There is a slot for magnetic charging dock, but the device in it is still too bulky, and I can't use the dock.

i bought this case about a month ago, and got it replaced couple days ago due to the plastic back is full of bubbles inside. at first i thought it was dirt but gave a wipe and nothing came off. I emailed the company and they said it is not normal, so that sample might be defected. Got it replaced at the shop and i will see how it last this time. Thanks god i didnt chuck the receipt away, never thought it would happen something like that. Let us know how yours going later?
