is it possible to have the Car Dock UI without Car Dock?

Can anyone help me. My official HTC car charger is no longer charging my phone. It lights up and it charges my mates dhd fine but it won't work anymore in my phone. Anyone got any ideas?

Mini is thicker, more block-ish on the top. Micro is thinner, more rounded on the top.

Whichever you get make sure it is capable of putting out full charge. A lot will only put out around 500mA and so will charge as if it was plugged into a pc and if you are using sat nav it will drain even though its on charge.

I've never seen that other HTC charger that's linked above, but I got the HTC CC C200 that they sell. From what I've seen, all HTC chargers have the cable detached.

I had one for my atrix. It was awesome. I just jump in the truck push the phone into the dock and the audio and charge are going. So simple . I hate fussing with cables its such a pain.. anyone know of a good car dock?

I've also been looking and I think the only way would be to build one. Wouldn't be too difficult. Just mount a micro USB plug and a 3.5mm jack into a plastic base and line them up
