Official HTC car charger problem

Can anyone help me. My official HTC car charger is no longer charging my phone. It lights up and it charges my mates dhd fine but it won't work anymore in my phone. Anyone got any ideas?

Second battery charger

Dear friends, I am planning to buy a second battery for Sensation, however, battery charger is a problem, it just impossible to charge with the phone for 2 batteries.
Anywhere to get battery charger for second battery? Or any ideas? Thank you.

HDMI/USB

I'm quite confused on the sensation ports.
Does it have a micro USB port or the HDMI port on the phone for charging?
Or does it have both?

has micro usb port. to do HDMI out you need to use an MHL dongle/cable/whatever

It will with a MHL-enabled TV, or with a charger plugged into the MHL dongle.

If you a xbox or ps3 you can play movies,music, pictures off it to with regular usb wire.

I have two MHL adapters, and soon a Sensation, will post up info about how well it works from the Sensation (brilliant with my SGSII).

no, there's no HDMI (micro or otherwise) port on the phone. Expansys seems to have a cheap aftermarket cable available that'll do the trick

$16.99, adapts microUSB (male) to full-size HDMI (female), it's a "coming soon" product that doesn't seem to have an ETA.

So I got my mule adapter from tmobile....works great so far....must have the charger hooked up to the dongle for it to work....gonna play some movies and games wand will report back later

Apparently they are a higher voltage but they charge the phone faster and are safe to use. Also you can get them for cheapo online

I doubt anything with higher voltage is
safe to use. Higher amperage is what enables fast charging. Regular USB is 500ma, the stock HTC chargers are 1000ma (1amp) that have faster charging.

I use the stock HTC charger when I'm traveling. I replaced my wall sockets at home with ones that have USB ports in them. They work perfectly fine. I believe the ones I have are about 1 amp.

I was just thinking the other day it would be cool if they made those. Got something on my to do list now!

i would be wary of HTC ebay wall chargers, there's probably tons of fakes out there. I somehow managed to buy a pair of fake HTC "oem" headphones the other day that lasted about two days before one ear broke (not to mention the phone controls were WACK).

I'd suggest going to amazon and getting an amazonbasics cable. They're really cheap, they make long ones, and I've had great experiences with them. As for wall chargers, I've had good luck with my one x using BlackBerry, HTC, amazon (for Kindle fire) and nook chargers. Just find one with nice amperage.

Hi,I bought a 2nd hand sensation xe which is running the latest official ics a few days ago but i found out my phone cannot charge.When i plug in the micro usb cable,the led on my phone turns on (orange)but the battery level keeps dropping.The phone also keep draining the battery even its fully turned off(unchecked fastboot).Did anyone experienced this situation?Please kindly help me to solve this problem,Thank you.

I had that problem with cheap usb cables from eBay... I bought a genuine charger and cable, and it works fine

Sorry - load Electronics damaged can you make a measurement without battery and pluged in the Power cord it must be 4.2-4.7 volts between the outer pins to load your batt otherwise the repair is to expensive
