Cannot claim my dropbox 50gb. Please Help - Galaxy S 4 General

Hi guys. No matter how many times I sign in my dropbox account, I still cant claim my 50gb storage. When I had an s3, I simply logged in and my free storage was claimed. But now with s4 I cant make it work. What am I doing wrong ?

You have to check your emails. Then complete 5 out of the 6 steps on Dropbox if I remember correct invite a friend etc
Sent from my GT-I9505 using xda app-developers app

I don't think you can keep claiming 50gb of storage with every device purchase, can you?
I also claimed my 50gb with the S3 but just figured that as I had already gone through the process I couldn't do it again.
I could be wrong though.

Storage isn't expanded, just extended.

My 50gb just happened almost as soon as I set up handset. I got extra 30 with my HTC last year, currently up to 80 till HTC expires next year.
Sent from my Xoom using Tapatalk HD

Ah! Now I get it. The total period is extended. So I will be getting 50gb for 3 years if I had 1 year of storage time left before upgrading to s4. Am I right ?
Sent from my GT-I9500 using xda premium

Nope, my HTC's 30gB parts 2 years, on top of that I got 50gB from S4 which parts 2 years. So next yearr I'm expecting to loose the HTC's 30gB

Download Dropbox, sign in, refresh the account while you're inside the app a couple times, and it will show up

Were you able to get the 25GB from Dropbox with an AT&T HOX? Last I read they'd opted out of the promotion, at least according to Dropbox's website.
Edit: Sorry, just realized this is a very old thread (came up in a search result).

From what I have read, they had discontinued it, some people got it some did not. You could always try flashing Mongolia Rom, when you log into dropbox during set up it says something about 25gb.

I've had my 75gb since day 1. 25 hox 50 gsIII. Of course 25 was legit, 50 wasn't. And they are both attached to my paid account. I know I read where they were taking them back. Doubt they would ban my account since they get a monthly from me. We'ii see I guess
I have a legit 78 MB myself. I'll lose 50 of that in a year I think.
I have 50 GB from Box, but last time I looked it was so hard to use, no auto upload integration etc. Has that improved?

You could lucky and not get banned or taken away. There are just a couple people who have reported to have been banned. I was honestly going to do it, I'm all for getting free stuff. But I don't want to lose all my drop box capabilities lol.

Whatsapp License

Hello all,
I want to ask to all that, whether any one present over here who's using whatsapp for more than 1 year for FREE ??? Or any one had purchased ?
Or any one, who uninstall/install whatsapp, and got back 1 year licence again ?
P.S. I'm very close to end my licence and I'm unable to purchase 1 year extend service (It's debit card issues..)
It should get extended automatically, only Iphone users have to pay for it.
Mine did renew itsef alone afew day ago.

Hey there I am using whatsapp
From past 2 year's without purchasing.. it automatically extend year
Actually it's paid. I had 6 months extended then a year extended also, but I think it was like a gift from developer team. I doubt they will extend it forever. In app description it says first year free. And only new Apple users will have to pay. When app was paid in Apple store (0.99) it was a lifetime subscription. Android users will have to pay.

This actually makes sense considering it's a T-Mobile ROM but I would think that the APN would prevent this check from validating? Excellent find if this is 100% true!
Link to rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2265998
What i did was flash this AND ktoonsez kernal, i selected the wicked rom and then added another zip and flashed them in sequence, rebooted, put in my att apn settings and loged into dropbox and got that email.

I work with this guy that posted it, he showed me, it is legit, I am going to install tonight....yes! Nice find for sure.
I'm not trying to be a party pooper here guys, but be careful with this. Certain carriers, including AT&T (US) have opted out of the Dropbox promotions. Now normally, this wouldn't be a problem, but the promotions are for free space "if" you are on certain carriers. The drop box folks have been known to get a little upset when free space is activated on non-qualified phones. I've seen it happen in the Skyrocket forums. Personally, I think it is great, but it's not the kind of thing I would be advertising openly (maybe PMs for more info would be better) and I'm not sure how the forum rules apply here either. Just giving a heads up maybe it's nothing to worry about, but I wouldn't take chances.
When using this tmobile rom on at&t how do you install the LTE apn settings for AT&T?
Sent from my SGH-I337 using xda premium
Yea, i set the att apn settings. I read a little bit more and it seems like this space is only available for a year.

50% off on samsung accessories - FREE 48 GB Dropbox with your GS4
I bought my GS4 with T-Mobile, shortly I received an email from Dropbox asking me to claim my free 48 GB storage, so I did, now I have a total of 53 GB storage with them.
I decided to register my GS4 in my Samsung.com account, really easy you need your imei # date of purchase and store where you bought it.
Same day Samsung send me a code for 50% off on any accessory less than $50
So I purchase the external battery & Samsung charger for 25 bucks.
This is the stuff you should know before you purchase a bunch of over priced accessories in the retail stores.
I hope this help you.

Make sure your carrier is participating
Some carriers have opted out of the promotion on phones otherwise eligible. Among those not currently participating are the following carriers:
United States: AT&T
Japan: NTT DoCoMo
Verizon customers: Some Samsung devices on Verizon may be eligible for 48 GB of bonus space for one or two years. As described above, your device needs to be pre-loaded with the Dropbox app, or pre-loaded with the Dropbox out-of-box experience, to receive the applicable promotion. If your device does not have the Dropbox app pre-loaded, then it is not eligible.

Once your bonus space goes away, you can't upload more files, and have to remove some to get your space under the new limit when the bonus space expires... At least that's what happened with me about a year ago.
