[Q] HELP! unable to mount external Storage TWRP

I recently rooted my HTC one X (rogers)
I had AOKP Jelly Bean 1.4 installed with the gapps.
However I was have issues with my phone randomly restarting.
So I went ahead and made a Titanium backup of my phone, re-downloaded the latest AOKP build with Gapps.
booted back into TWRP 2.3.0.0 and Wiped the following
Cache
Dalvik Cache
System
Then I did the idiotic thing and wiped External Storage and System. However both failed.
When I tried to do a factory reset, it would fail stating :
E: unable to mount /sdcard
E: unable to mount storage
Im trying to install the AOKP rom and gapps but cant because I get the error
E: unable to mount /sdcard
E: unable to mount storage
I'm freaking out.
I don't know what to do.
any help would be greatly appreciated.
Im very new to android root. newb. sorry

Hi XsMagical... I saw in the nocturnal pages that you had helped someone out with the same problem with an HTC One S. I've managed to do the same thing and corrupted my storage. Is there any help you could offer?
Thanks for your time,
UPDATE:
I got it sorted... managed to flash the stock recovery, clear partition, and then factory reset... then it was business back to normal..
thanks though!

The Link is for the One X... I've got the same problem but with a One S. Apparently if you use the One X fix on the One s it will brick the phone.
From the Nocturnal Forums re: using the same files
"Nooo send me a ruu and I'll make the guide. If you use these recovery files you will brick your phone"
Sorry I was unable to extract that ruu, email me and I'll get it made for you this weekend. [email protected]

If u have backuped up through CWM then u can restore. Otherwise u cant. I recommend you to download custom rom for ur device.. And put it in ur sd card by Card reader. Then put sd card back in the device and flash that rom via CWM. Then only your device will run.

[Q] Please Help, Just Rooted NS4G

I recently rooted my NS4G, coming from Evo supersonic, so I am familiar with this stuff. But I've been running into problems trying to install different things from CWM. I am currently on TWRP v2.6.3.0 and everytime I try to install a ROM or a recovery it starts with "Updating partition details..." then says "E:Unable to open zip file." and the installation fails from there. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong? Pls help ASAP
Also says, "E:Unable to mount '/sdcard'"
"E:Unable to recreate and sec-folder"
"E:Unable to mount '/sdcard/'"
"E:Unable to find partition size for '/wimax'"

Try Philz, just make sure you have a ROM zip on your SD card, because it won't mount to your computer... it will flash KitKat though..
