[Q] problem with my sd card

hey guys im stuck on recovery mode and i wiped everything and my phone can't read my memory card does any one know how to fix this, I NEED HELP PLZ it gives me an error message, E:Can't mount /dev/block/mmcblc0 (or /dev/block/mmcblk0p1) (no suck file or directory) E:can't mount /sdcard.
same issue
i assume this problem relates to the SGS I9000M can we get this moved?
Eject your sdcard while the phone is on, replace it, and try again. Worked for me when I got the error on my MT3GS.

[Q] sd card damaged

last night, my i booted up my phone, and it said sd card damaged. i didnt pay that much attention to it then, bcuz i always take my external sd card out wen it is mounted as mnt/emmc (im using cm7, so it gives me this option), and then it doesnt read for a few days. this morning, i realized that it was my internal sd card (because i can access my external storage), and half my apps are gone, so i decided to format it. i pressed format, it deleted my data and then it gave me a notification saying sd card is now safe to remove. i rebooted my phone, now its stuck in a bootloop. i can get into cwm, but it says E:cant mount /cache/recovery/command
E:cant mount /cache/recovery/log
E:cant open /cache/recovery/log
E:cant mount /cache/recovery/last_log
E:cant open /cache/recovery/last_log
i tried using the g2x cleanup batch, then reflashed everything, but that took me back to sqaure one.
im guessing that im goin to be needing a new phone right? if so, what could i hav possibly done to get myself into this mess?

This is a good tool for recovery try it:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1248644
Good luck
You will need to root your phone again and reinstall CWM, in the future backup your SD card to PC every week. Make sure to replace your SD card with anew one

Nice
@maxesxp
What did you do to fix it? I've had the same problem now for a bit and I can flash a new rom or reflash stock and get back to a CM7 ROM but after a bit the internal SD card craps out and "Damaged SD Card" shows up again. What did you find to fix it?
Thanks

Thanks! I got it fixed by stalking you guys on a few other threads too. I had to reflash just one more time and then was able to flash a CM7 build, a new kernel and some other junk (LG cam, owain's v21y fix). That 9 to 8 partition swap was a great find. Thanks again for the help.

[Q] E: Can't mount sdcard!!!

*sigh!* Ok. I wanted to install Jelly Bean and so headed over to this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1583427. Everything was going great until my screen hung at what I guess is the startup page. I rebooted back to recovery but I'm getting things like E: Can't mount sd card E:Can't mount cache/recovery/log E:Can't open cache/recovery/log etc. I have no idea where to go from here and after HOURS of searching the net and forums, I'm about to go bald. Please help. Clearly I'm what you call a noob.
Oh yeah, I have an HTC One S. No external sd card
Try and do a re root

[Q] HELP! Stuck in recovery and SD won't mount

Alright, I'm still running 4.1.2, and I used the 1-click method to root, unlock, and flash CWM recovery. Everything was going fine, until I got into recovery and all I'm seeing is
E: Can't mount /cach/recovery/command
E: Can't mount /cach/recovery/log
E: Can't open /cach/recovery/log
E: Can't mount /cach/recovery/last_log
E: Can't open /cach/recovery/last_log
If I try to click "choose zip from sdcard," I get
E: Can't mount /sdcard/
I have tried formatting the sdcard on another phone, but that didn't seem to help.
If I try to reboot, it boots right back into CWM recovery.
EDIT: Ok, I booted into Odin mode, then when it loaded into that I canceled, and it booted into the OS....wow. So, that doesn't explain the SD card not mounting in recovery though. I tried TWRP and it did the same thing. When in the actual OS the SD card mounts fine and can be browsed, etc.
I reflashed TWRP just because I'm more comfortable with it...it doesn't boot loop. Just have to get it to see that damn sd card.
EDIT 2: Alright, it seems I'm just answering all my questions tonight lol. I flashed the modded version of TWRP from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2391616
Everything is great now!
all you had to to was format the cache.
But that's OK, glad you got something working.

No SD card, NO system, E: Unable to mount storage in Recovery

Hi!
I've installed this ROM on my HTC One S:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one-s/development/rom-cyanogenmod-12-lollipop-htc-one-s-t2946468
Everything seemed to be fine, but sd storage broken. Now I can't even boot phone, only thing i see is CM logo. If i'm trying use ADB Slideload or wipe data in recovery i see this:
E: Unable to mount storage.
E: Unable to mount /sdcard during GUI startup.
E: Unable to mount /sdcard/TWRP/.twrps when trying to read settings file.
Please, help me, how I can flash anything? I was looking for solutions but I didn't find :<

Relock your device install the factory RUU, now your phone turn on and all is ok but you haven't the bootloader unlocked, root and recovery, so if you want any other rom you can flash any rom, boot and recovery.
