Thanks for Sharing but, this is not cyanogenmod task manager. It is the default task manager used in the Samsung Devices.

CM7 does not come with any task manager. CM has never come with any task managers, ever (because they're useless). You took it from http://yagyagaire.blogspot.sg/2012/03/task-manager-for-cm-rom-on-gt-s5570.html which clearly says that it is a task manager *for* CM7, not *from* CM7.

That is not a cyanogen mod task manager it is an original samsung task manager with edited colors

Then those are not by Cyanogenmod themselves, they are derivatives. The original CM builds at get.cm will never contain task managers.

Hello everyone, here's a great trick for all of us where by which we will be able to get cyanogenmod apps on your phone. These include spare parts, DSP manager, Dev tools, and many more. I have extracted these apps from Vish's Cyanogenmod and uploaded them to the given link. So you don't need to flash Cyanogenmod on your current ROM. You will require any file manager to install these apps.
Procedure:
1)Download the zip file from this link:

2) Place them anywhere on your memory stick.
3) Open your file explorer, and install the apps you want too.
4) Change the settings to "Allow applications from unknown sorces if needed.
And you are done.
Note: Some apps like theme chooser may not install on Fitdroid v2.0.
You can also install OC kernel apps like Antutu power saver, ES file manager, etc.

No it cant change between 2g/3g directly...and according to ur post u said cm apps...there are alternates available for evry app but v dont need alternates

There are alternates but then there are some important apps like spare parts, dev tools, etc. which you dont get in usual roms. That was my reason for posting this thread.

And if switching between 2g and 3g is your concern then there you go.....This is much better than the cm power controller...Infact it has a lot of additional options...Enjoy!!

I was wondering, can somehow taskmanager of gingerbread can be made to work on Cyanogenmod 7, coz i haven't found any task manager that good comparitavely to gingerbread's one !
I tried it also, but could'nt made that work ...
I first extracted the taskmanager(job manager) from ddkq5, and then copied it to the system/apps of cyanogenmod 7.2..... and then flashed it.. but it didn't work, app didn't got installed !
Can somebody help me !
you need to mount /system first
As I know it is not just simply flash the taskmanager, maybe you can ask the developer of cm..

I recently flashed cyanogenmod 10 (android 4.1.1) on my gtab 2 7.0, it's flawless but I have some questions..
-Is there a way I can edit the arragement of the icons in my apps drawer?
-Does it have a task manager (built in)? I searched for it everywhere.
-Does it have a "my files" app, like the one in the stock ROM, to explore the storage and so?

The apps in the menu, don't know what they're called
Apps in the app drawer? No. You might try another launcher like nova or apex. But I'm not sure that functionality is there either.

It's a bug many people face in cyanogen mod, try the latest official nightly , maybe its fixed by now as ics style is based on older release.

apk stands for 'Android application package file'
in layman's term its setup file (.exe) like you have in windows!
installing from playstore is the same thing as installing form .apk from sd card -_-

i'd flashed my gfit with nightly version,the latest one,same problem prevail..its not a big deal..there's a lot of great rom..just give them a try
