Tips/Help with Network/SIM Unlock Problem - HTC Inspire 4G

EDIT: Nevermind, I called ATT to double check and they gave me a different code that worked. Sorry for the post.
I know this gets asked alot, but the information, situations, and answers out there are so many it is difficult to determine what needs to be done, so I am hoping someone can at least point me in the right direction.
I had unlocked my bootloader using htcdev, installed 4ext recovery, and flashed latest Cyanogenmod. I have been wanting to switch to T-mobile (I know about the possibility of not having 4g with that) and come to find out, entering the Network PUK code doesnt work in Cyanogen..
I gleaned that I needed to re-flash stock rom and then try to unlock, but I did this, and it still isnt accepting the code, argh. Do I need to relock my bootloader or do anything special? I got this code straight from ATT. With the ATT SIM in the phone, it doesnt ask for it, I restart phone with my T-mobile SIM in, and it asks for the code, but always says its incorrect. How is it checking this anyway, as it doenst seem to be communicating over the mobile network.
Any ideas would be much appreciated, thanks.

[Q] Locked out??

Hi,
First of all I hope this has not been covered, I searched but found nothing.
I recently bought an unlocked Captivate from the US, I am in Australia. I put my sim in and all was good. Used it for about 4 weeks and then one day turned it on and said on the screen 'you have entered an incorrect unlock code, please contact service provider.'
Now I never entered a code or even had a chance to enter a code. Now it will not let me use any sim at all or even give me a chance to enter and unlock code, which I have obtained using the one click unlock found in this forum.
The phone is rooted but was working fine when rooted originally.
Can someone help? I can still use phone with wifi just not sim. I have tried a hard reset and that still has the same problem. I have tried flashing it back to an older rom, same deal.
What can I do? I can't even enter an unlock code to get it unlocked.
All sim based devices have a PUK code...contact your provider, ask for it and then try to unlock your phone till it ask for it...then you can reset it...that'd what I would do.

Did you try inserting "a SIM card not attached to your current provider (e.g if you have T-mob use an ATT SIM CARD) and turn on your phone?" (credit sanfranx415 post) edit: maybe try a different gsm carrier in the same country you reside.
From what I have read and understand different versions of busybox will work or are compatible for different things (maybe somebody will tell me if that is not accurate).
Here is a video that might help.
Good luck!
Try contacting t mobile and tell them your going overseas for a few months and want to take your phone with you and is there a way to unlock it so it can be used in another country.

When you insert the sim card and power up the phone, as you unlock it it should give you a network lock screen that only lets you use the phone after inputting the unlock code.

confused about rooting and sim unlock

ok so heres the deal. i have a lg spectrum (lg vs920) i have rooted and installed a custom rom. Now that i have done this am i able to use any sim card in it? i would like to go with simple mobile but dont know if i have to do anything else.
thanks for any help
I think SIM Lock is something else. I think it still has to be removed, although now that you're root, it is likely to be trivial.
Why don't you check first, by trying to boot with a SIM card from another provider (active one). If locked, it will ask you to enter a "subsidy code".

[Q] No sim card - no service after unlocking

Hi all, I think I looked everywhere for similar issue, including xda, but no luck. I got my "new" Sensation yesterday and, obviously, I wanted to have a custom rom as I do on my Desire. So I unlocked the bootloader and flashed both recovery and new rom (yes, the phone is still S-ON because I just couldn't get it to S-OFF, no matter what method I tried there was always an issue and I couldn't complete the procedure. if it's important I can explain in details what I tried/not tried). Right now it sits on CM-10.2 | AOSP 4.3 Jellybean [KANG] with 4EXT recovery. Everythin is fine however the phone is locked to O2 and I'm with T-Mobile. I tried to get the phone to S-OFF in order to remove the simlock myself but as I mentioned, no luck. So I got pissed off and I bought the unlock pin code. I've inserted my T-Mobile card, phone asked for the pin, I've entered it and boom, phone is unlocked. Great, I think to myself... well not really. One, the phone just won't get the signal (and I tried putting it to GSM mode only) and two, every time I reboot it the message to enter network pin come up . So I enter the code again and that's the end of the loop. Tried hard reset after entering the pin code but after a reboot it would still ask for the unlock pin and then won't pick up any signal. I've tried giffgaff sim card and that works straight away (as it works under O2) so it's not the phone issue (well, not the sim card port anyway).
Any ideas/solution/questions a-ny-thing would be greatly appreciated as I'm about to rage quit and give up on it .

Hi,
Could it just be the t-mob sim card?
Is there any chance to get a new one from them?

Thought that but the card works fine in my Desire. Never had any problems with it. What gets me is that constant message asking for the network pin after rebooting the phone. Surely once the code is entered the phone is unlocked ...
If I can't find any solution by monday I'll visit their shop and ask for a new sim or I'll just move my number to giffgaff >_>
Obviously if anyone has any solutions or ideas feel free to share them and I will be sure to try them. I'd really appreciate it!!
Sorry for double post

trying to recover a used u11

Alright guys. Have not been on in years. Couldn't pass up an opportunity. $40 U11 in near mint physical condition. Now on to the fun part.
HTC U11
2PZC300 U-3U
Attaching photos of build info
The phone runs off WiFi perfectly. However it will not connect to mobile service (US ATT)
It registered my cell phone number so it is reading the card.
The seller says it was a Sprint phone but everything I can find says that Sprint builds are based on 2PZC5.
I want to just take it back to factory stock and then go back in and add twrp etc. I just don't know where to begin. Anyone have any ideas
Added photos
Well just got curious and did an IMEI check with T-Mobile. They list the IMEI number as a 2PZC5 model but the back of the phone says 2PZC300.
Really hope someone has some ideas. Because at this point I am leaning towards someone changed the imei number or something.
Also when I insert my sim into the phone it pops up asking what carrier I am using. After that the att apn settings are applied buts that's it. So I don't think it is carrier locked.
Alright so I can't get s-off to take again but I have figured out the firmware I can flash is for the unlocked us version but even flashing the latest firmware and installing omj badboy us unlocked I still don't have cell service. It ask me which carrier I am using with the sim card insert. It has yet to ask for an unlock code. I cannot use any dialer codes to check serial etc.
The only rom that let me use dialer codes was the Sprint based rom by omj but I can't flash firmware for it. I don't think this phone is done. Hoping someone reads this and responds with an idea
Well another update. Emailed HTC with all the info I had. They confirmed that the phone was originally a Sprint based phone. Now I need to figure out how to s-off so I change ruu back to Sprint. Sunshine won't pass test and s-off had just came out when I got out of rooting.

Well I have reached the end of my rope. Finally figured out which base it was based on HTC helping me lol. Flashed the correct firmware with no issues. Flashed the correct ruu using sd card method and failed on systemimg_23. Now can't access fastboot via pc in anything but bootloader. Download mode and ruu mode don't recognize on my PC. Have uninstalled all drivers and reinstalled fresh drivers with no luck. Thought I was on the right path but unfortunately not.
