[Q] MIUI JB RAM Management Problem on Xperia NEO V

Hi guyzzz i have an Xperia Neo V.
I Flashed this MIUI JB rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1897824)
i did full wipe.
But still i get 40-50 mb RAM at an average.is it just me?? or does anyone else has the same problem??
plzz if u have any solution to get atleast 110-140mb RAM at an average it will be very kind of you.

Issue has been solved for me.
They have released a New ROM which is more stable than the previous JB ROM.
Here is the new MIUI v5 JB 4.1.2

Moving on to GB ROM. MIUI is not fast and playing games on it is quite impossible

MIUIv5's UI is more smoother than normal MIUI JB ROM.But the RAM management is crap as always and its impossible to play games on it

Qmobile launched its first Quadcore mobile noir a600.It is the same as Micromax Canvas HD in India.So,every root method,cwm recovery and custom roms of canvas hd will work in noir a600.

@umair42 what is the battery timing of noir a600.....i am thinking of buying this phone but i play alot of games how much this phone last if you play game for long time and also how much time it takes to charge from 0 to 100 percent....

Battery life is good.Charging takes approx. 3-4 hours from 0-100%.I don't know about gaming because i personally use galaxy s2.

If you want custom roms and kernels then go for s2.It can run heavy games smoothly.You can also overclock its cpu and gpu to improve performance.
Charging time is a bit longer than a600.It's fully charged in about 5-5:30 hours.Battery timing is also good.
S2 is also lightweight than a600

You will be amazed how much development is there for s2 Although it's 2 year old phone but still its support is awesome.

Does anybody can confirm it...??? Build Prop of QMOBILE NOIR A600 and CANVAS A116 is different..
EDIT :I can confirm method given here works on noir a600...

get root through here...than download canvas cwm recovery put in sd and flash through mobi uncle...

I believe only difference between these two is name of phone.
In settings/about phone,There will be a116 for micromax and noir a600 for qmobile.

Hi Umair,
i recently installed a custom rom of canvas hd on my qmobile a600, everything worked except sim detection , nil baseband version and invalid IMEI , used so many tweaks and patches including urs for the pakistani baseband but all methods failed and every time i had to switch back to my stock rom which i backed up by CWM .... any further help or fix you have for these issues .... plz update us

Micromax doesn't have a clone of A20 but it's clone is Fly IQ446

No u can not use such roms, which are not ported.
QMobile i9 is similar to MicroMax A120.
May his( MicroMax A120) roms work in QMobile i9

Always do a backup before doing any thing you must take IMEI Backup in case of any lost you restore it. First of all any others phone rom should be ported before installation.
Other wise it usually patch NVRAM partition and a result u just loss your IMEI.
Solution
GOTO QMobile franchise and tell them that sim is not detecting. If they ask any question about root or something like this donor tell them. They will restore your IMEI permanently for free of cost.

Are you okay with compiling kerenel??
As porting from MT6589 to MT6577 is almost impossible..
In android development section link to kerenel sources are avaialable you can start from there.. @mufti.arfan too trying to port you can contact him, he is lewa os developer.

Please make change under only to attached os 4.2 & don't use porting img as base, b'coz other img is running on 4.2. if we try to make changes in porting img then lots of bug you will find b'coz u all need to attached full hardware source which is very difficult. As u might not know the full chip set description. So make changes in a110 stock img 4.1......
I have compiled with only 3 miner bug b'coz i looking for advance kernel which support o'clock, swap, otg, fast, light.

due to xda will update you a bit delay
due to xda entrance policy i will update new 4.2.2 jelly bead after a bit delay......mean while i m testing the rom for any bug if found.........

Just get a working recovery for your phone. Flash it via SP Tools and Install SuperSU update.zip along with su [by fixing permissions]...:good:
