I m looking for to port A116 4.2.2 rom to A110 as specification are Similar to A110. Please advise shall i start this port....................

Are you okay with compiling kerenel??
As porting from MT6589 to MT6577 is almost impossible..
In android development section link to kerenel sources are avaialable you can start from there.. @mufti.arfan too trying to port you can contact him, he is lewa os developer.

Please make change under only to attached os 4.2 & don't use porting img as base, b'coz other img is running on 4.2. if we try to make changes in porting img then lots of bug you will find b'coz u all need to attached full hardware source which is very difficult. As u might not know the full chip set description. So make changes in a110 stock img 4.1......
I have compiled with only 3 miner bug b'coz i looking for advance kernel which support o'clock, swap, otg, fast, light.

due to xda will update you a bit delay
due to xda entrance policy i will update new 4.2.2 jelly bead after a bit delay......mean while i m testing the rom for any bug if found.........

Yes, it was a true 4.2 rom, and dark4droid has got it to work for our device. And he will soon be uploading it on xda. Cheers mate.:victory::victory:

Devs are all into this 4.2.. So practically v mus get it within a week...

All the devs [who have some feelings for our device] are working together and we will be getting 4.2.2 upgrade soon. Currently WiFi, Bluetooth and Camera is remaining to be fixed by the devs.:victory::victory:

My phone is Intex aqua wonder not MMX A110,I already mentioned this thing.Dont flash it directly,REPLACE files from your STOCK rom then flash it & delete boot.img in it.

and some things is diffrent in all.mtk device then other... so.. its not that much easy...
and it cant b easy.. to.build spacial.kernel from sources for kitket.. if that will easy then we had cm also...

yeah it will be really awesome if a port was made,although a kitkat kernel may be required. not using a canvas device,but I have a device with similar specs (except for screen size) that doesn't have it's own section, and I hope to port to my device.

thats true......but there are still devs trying hard

Forum is active bro.. many roms are coming for us. dolby also ported by sid, roms from cmahendra, pinto, many more are actively updated.. santosh provided 4.4 (WIP). wait till chrsmhoffman's cm11. In near future we will have kk too.

Differences between A117 and Wiko Darknight

Hy, i want to test the beautiful ROMS postet here, but i dont know, wether there are differences in the hardware or internal structure of A117 and wiko darknight.... afaik, the hardware is the same, but it may give other trouble using software /rom written for a117 ion the darknight...

Hello Sir,
There are difference in software platform when there is change in company even the hardware is same.
The boot.img, uboot.bin, recovery.img are different.
I am using xolo Q3000 which is also rebranded as BQ aquaris 5.7.
When i tried to flash rom of each other many things wont work as desired.
I have one friend form Portuguese with the clone phone.
He wanted to try my ported roms
so i suggested him to flash stock xolo rom with sp flash tools.
and it worked
So my suggestion to u is if u wanna try a117 roms on ur wiko just flash stock a117 rom with sp flash tools flashing all.
then u can flash all roms of a117.
