Is there anyway to calibrate my acceloremeter is kind of weird because in almost all apps if I tilt it down the sensor took it as it is tilting to the right or if I tilt it to the right it took it if I am tilting up, i'm running all stock except for the recovery.

After lock the screen of my o3d and wake it up, the touch panel is very unstable. By using some multi-touch testing app, it can found that the touch panel can only recognize one finger accurately. It there anyone know how to fix this bug????
i did not notice this problem. Try wipe. What firmware you use??
Try to install Android system info. Tap on menu, and touchscreen test. There should be ok.
For me in some testing apps from market, there where some anomalies. Eg. Taping both fingers very fast, and then it recognized only one touch etc.
Seems to happen to me as well on stock 10J Optus Australia firmware. The touch screen seems to be able to detect >10 fingers (Most other smartphones are 3-5) but when more than one is used, the touch points seem to jump to the other finger (For example, in fruit ninja, when two fingers slide vertically quickly, sometimes a random horizontal cut occurs).
Its pretty annoying in games - Especially when trying to shoot and aim in Modern Combat 2, I keep doing 180 degree turns randomly.

Yes I have the same problem in games, sudden180 degree spins in backstab, shadowgun ...
I'm on stock GB.
happens almost everytime screen locks when a game is running. try playing minisquadron and let the screen lock. when you wake phone up only one touch will be recognised at a time for an interval ranging from a few seconds till you shut down the game and restart it or even sometimes restart your phone. had it since v10a all the way to v20a and believe my i tried them all. even on custom roms....
The solution: (kind of)

I thought I was just crazy when this happened.
The 3-tap fix doesn't seem to completely fix it but it helps without having to restart the game.
Friends, i am having a strange problem... In my HTC Chacha it is showing wrong direction in every compass app and in maps too.
Tilt control is also not working fine.. When I hold my phone Landscap The car keeps on moving to right side... but if i hold it in a little inclined the control works fine.. I have many time callibrated my device but no solution...
MY english is Weeks hope u got what i am trying to say.. Help me plz...
The same is happening to me, using the last SuperOSR-2.5 rom.
The compass of the Chacha seems to be fairly inaccurate indeed, but this is a general problem of magentometers in small electronic devices. It will respond to other magnetic fields or metal-objects as well so if you are sitting indoors at your desk you may completely forget it.
Normally you can recalibrate your compass by moving it in figure-8 circles. Just search for "recalibrate compass" on youtube and you will find a lot of videos showing you how to do it. AFAIK the compass will be calibrated continuously by the system so there is no need or way to trigger the calibration process manually.
For optimal calibration go out in the open, turn the phone on holding it flat facing up and move it in circles. After that hold it upright and repeat. Finally hold it upright facing the side and repeat again.
I have been having issues for the past month or so with my rooted Evo. It has been working fine forever and all of a sudden it doesn't react very well to touch controls.
Sometimes it will react to scroll motion and sometimes it doesn't. Also having issue with the actual buttons at the bottom of screen.
Has anyone else run into this issue?
Have the Rogers HTC One X....its rooted and bootloader unlocked using the HTCDev method. The only problem i have is with the Proximity Sensor!!
During calls, unless i COMPLETELY cover the sensor, as in the phone is pressed against my face/ear...the phone will stay on!!
So now its seems like it only has two settings: Screen ON when nothing is there. Screen OFF when i COMPLETELY block it instead how it used to b where i cud come close and it wud turn off. This is really annoying, because unless im pressing the phone really hard against my face, itll b on. N even then sometimes, i have to take the phone away, and then put it back against my face for the screen to go off..
USING Z DEVICE TEST: the proximity sensor range = 9cm, resolution +/- 9cm. Shows only two distance readings: either 9cm or 0cm. And again, i have to completely block the sensor and the reading goes to 0cm.
I wiped dalvik cache, tried different ROMS, dont know what the problem is....PLEASE HELP!!!!
anyone..? No one?!?
Mine works fine and the tool says the same - +/- 9cm. The only thing that changes while viewing that menu is the green bar that pops up to 100% when the proximity sensor senses something close. The depth of about three decks of cards stacked on each other is how close my hand can get without tripping the sensor. If you are having the same issue across ROMS, you most likely have a hardware issue. I'd flash it back to a stock ROM just to be sure (might want to stay away from the newest if you are flashing an RUU for now).
My Galaxy y gt-s5360 seems to have a glitch in its horizontal calibration. i have tried many times to center it in the Settings>Display>Horizontal calibration, but nothing changes- the calibrator icon is in the middle, but when i try playing games which need tilt, or taking a picture, everything rotates, for example, in temple run, the player shifts to the right when the phone is held straight, and pictures are always rotated 90 degrees, or 180, or 260. i have also tried setting the calibration upside down, or on the side, but the games just tilt in other directions, and pictures keep rotating.
help would be much appropriated, it is very frustrating!
