Hello guys i just got my new phone it is Connect i101 and i really dont know how to root this device (so sad)..
i tried almost all method in rooting my device but still i was unlucky
i tried to contact Connect with my problem via email and they told that the bootloader is unlocked ..
they told me too that my phone is using a Spreadtrum Chipset ..
i also tried to tell them how to go to download mode and guess what they told me ,
"In order to download with your CONNECT i101, you need to activate the Wi-Fi on your phone.
When you have an established Wi-Fi connection to the internet, you should be able to download from the internet with your phone."

i tried to use xray app and it says that my device is patched
so i finally made up my mind to come to xda-developers
can u guys help me with my problem ?
i really need to root my device to remove bloatwares from my internal storage

As i'm guessing you did, try this:
So I took a risk - I downloaded the A06 ROM update for ENGLISH and of course normally trying to run this package produces the error that my Axim was a different language and not allowing me to continue.
However, what I did was first download the French ROM updater package and take it to just before the stage where it is about to flash the ROM (sorry, can't remember exactly which screen this is but it would have definitely been after it does its check for language compatibility) and while the software is paused at this stage expecting user input to continue, rename and copy over using windows explorer on XP the actual A06 ENGLISH ROM file ie. make the English ROM file the same as the software is expecting the French one to be. Then go back to the flash updater and let it continue.

your trick seems to work but when the ppc reboot and enter flash mode, iget an error on my pc and wmdc close. i think that is due to my windows 7 x64 that is incompatible with dell system upgrade.
and if iwant to use the sd card te change the os language this will be easy?

I have samsung omnia 7 (7.10.7720.68) dev unlocked and INTEROP-UNLOCKed. WP7 root tols installed.
I added key to registry for "CZECH" language but I cant not change to "CZECH" in settings..
I know I should revert to nodo, add key, and then update to mango.. But I have many custom apps and setting in my prone now...
Is there a way to install "CZECH" language to mango phone without reverting to nodo?

No, because you must download language package with that language. Now you haven't files with that language so you can't settings that language. If you update system without that entry in the registry, your device download only language package with 5 languages (English, German, French, Spanish, Italian).
So there should be way how to additional copy language files to my device....??
No, way is used TouchExplorer and copy files to Windows folder but where to get them ? And TouchExplorer must be run for official Mango but now isn't working.
Now is one way - add entry in the registry and update to Mango - device download new files, and you can choice that language in settings.

i downloaded the italian image and its working fine ! but my only question is how do i change the language permantly? everytime i reboot the emulator the language changes back to italian !

I've tried every possible solution to permanently set the language to English, but had no luck. I would suppose you're stuck with it, which isn't a bad thing, as it only requires a simple reboot of the virtual phone. After setting the language in the settings app, that is.
