Hello, everyone! I recently had installed the Open Kang Jelly Bean project on my LG P500, and lost the opportunity to use calls/texts. I learned that my baseband is "unknown". Is there any fix for this?
Try to make full reset, reinstall SIM card.
Maybe you lost EFS directory...
Do you have any backup of your system?
Try to go back to stock rom.
go back to ur origional firmware and chek

hello guys, so i bring this verizon phone to Indonesia and use local operator with help of some apps, i'm rooted and using 4.0.4,
lately i got this problem says "com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly" when trying to call, but i still can text and received calls well, i do all the tricks about deleting sync, etc, nothing worked, the only thing that could help is factory reset, so i reset it. After a few days the problem show up again. Instead of posting question in this forum i accidently deleted the phone file from titanium back up, now even after factory reset i can make any call and the problem seems spread.
i havent made any recovery, so i pretty doomed, i havent touch android since milestone 1, i really need your help for this,
1st, how to bring back my phone with all apps and component 100% work
2nd, i still cant found answer for "com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly"
and i tied to application like "phone info" so the phone will work with local operator, and i read in this forum the apps wont work in jb, so maybe i avoid for using jb for now,
thank you,
With no back up you can't bring it all back.just the apps in Google, if you've backed up your contacts to Google then that can be saved, but if you did no nandroid backup then not much To do, if factory reset didn't help maybe bad hardware.
stripped apart rebuilt with Clean Rom&XdaTechnology!!!
Flash the stock image with odin then reroot. Section 5 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1762709

Hi All,
I was using GT-I9003 with XXKPE ROM on 2.3.6 GB.
Rooted the phone and installed CM10 A4 (JB) and it was running fine for 1 month.
Suddenly one day, the phone was stuck in flight mode and cannot connect to the carrier.
When I checked, the IMEI is blank and baseband is unknown. Wifi and other services were working without any issue.
I have a backup of EFS folder taken while installing CM10/Nandroid backup but restoring the files did not help.
Tried manual copy of nvdata file with root explorer, EFS pro but IMEI is still blank.
Moved to stock ROM but still the phone does not take backed up EFS information.
Is there a way to restore IMEI information without motherboard replacement ?
Regards,
Ram
Sorry but need your help too.

You can move to the custom ROM by flashing the XXK** stock rom from odin.
Hello XDA!
I've got the I9105P version, and after I've flashed a few rom's, I saw that my IMEI is changed to 0000000000. Although, I can make phone calls and have data connection on my phone. How could I restore my original IMEI? I have it on the back of the phone, with the serial number along.
Please help me!
Thank you!
Hello,
You can try and restore some backup if you have one, It should solve the problem.
If you have a EFS Partion backup, would be better.
Meanwhile see this 2 link:

I hope you will solve it.
Best regards,
Thank you for replying, but I already did what's in the first tutorial. The problem is that when I flashed a custom rom, I didn't knew that I have to backup EFS files(noob). Now, after reading and reading, I know that this is important. I reflashed my stock Rom 4.1.2 and nothing, and then reflashed 4.2.2 ultimate update from sammobile, and still nothing. Is there any other way in restoring my IMEI?
Hey guys! I search a lot in the forum, but unfortunatelly, I don't have the NV Data files in my EFS folder. I think the only solution is to get the phone to a gsm service, that has a Octopus Box.
If you think that I have a solution without this, text me
I've recently wiped my phone and am trying to restore my files. Since the backup isn't compatible i went back to my old rom. However, when i restored, a few apps were missing. I was using Sony's backup and its like they did not recognise my app. What can i do to restore it?
Hi,

You can restore the old version. Nothing bad will happend. Your phone will be as if you never installed that buggy Lollipop ROM.

You don't have to do anything except press the "Restore" button. The backup does the rest of the work.
Same thing for backing up. No need of anything.
