[Completed] [Q] Cannot restore apps after factory reset - XDA Assist

I've recently wiped my phone and am trying to restore my files. Since the backup isn't compatible i went back to my old rom. However, when i restored, a few apps were missing. I was using Sony's backup and its like they did not recognise my app. What can i do to restore it?

Hi,
Can you tell us more,please
We need to know which device ? rooted or not ? More infos.
Thanks in advance

Help restore G2X after root and app delete

I am new to Android and need some help.
My G2X has WIFI issue. I rooted it using SuperOneClick and then deleted 2 Tmobile "MyAcccount" system applications (version 1.0 and version 5.0.15) using Titanium Backup Free version. (I backed up data though)
Could someone tell me how to restore the G2X back to original state? I heard that I cannot just run "factory reset" after what I've done. Can I use SuperOneClick to unroot and then run factory reset? Will it restore the MyAccount applications to factory default as I deleted it already? I appreciate your help in advance. Thanks.
If you used Titanium to back up the apps first you can use titanium to restore them as well. You can use Super One Click to unroot the same way you used it to root. Then you can do a factory reset but im not sure if that will restore the "my account apps", Why are you trying to restore??

[Q] Sharing Wiped stock cwm backup?

any problems with this? a guy is trying to fix his phone (exact model) and believes a stock wiped backup will help...basically can he even use my backup with his, or is my backup somehow linked to my phone?
It should work if it is the same model as they have the same system.

[Q] HELP!!

I rooted my galaxy note pro 12,2 and uninstalled a lot of original apps. The uninstaller was unable to restore them, therefor did a factoryreset in hopes it would be as new... It did not, now the files are lost forever and i did not take a backup before I started the rooting Is there a way to do a proper factory reset, where all the original apps, settings and files are restored?

rather than posting, start reading it's possible to restore to stock using odin. a bit of search should help you - but don't do anything until you've done some reading.
as you've posted this several times I've closed this to keep thing clean and in one place

Need help with backup

Hello, xdadevelopers members and admins.
Is there way to Complete/Full Backup all android data, sms , etc. ?
Samsung Galaxy S II Plus Android version: 4.2.2
Thanks, KabutoLT.
Backing up the System, Data, and Boot partitions will hold all of your data at the time of the backup. Restoring those backed up partitions will take you back to how your phone was at the time you backed it up.
i need reinstall my phone. but i want backup. what soft can do?
You should try to looking for backup tool in Setting.
It backup everything you have on your device.
You can use apps which help you update your data on server. Update all your contacts on google.

I own a Galaxy Grand 2 and I use CWM for backup and restore alot while switching between roms, tho I sometimes happen to have the same problem as yours
But I managed to fix it whith a wipe data/Factory Reset after the restore is completed the n boot into the system yoy restored and then do an advance restore for data only but don't wipe anything this time!
This should help you if you still face the same problem consider changing/Upgrading your costume recovery or reflash your original firmware (usind odin) to clean the phone up (but make sure yoy don't downguard your firmware as it may softbrike your phone)
Hit the Thanks button If I helped you!
thanks for your advice. but unfortunately it didnot work for me.
i tried the way you explaint the process.
