PHONE- S5301XXMC1
CSC- S5301SERAMB1

Ok do you have KIES installed if not Install it (Maybe reinstall it)
Make sure KIES is closed when ODIN is opened (another thing I recommend to do is go to recovery on your phone and wipe data factory reset and wipe cache) Then try again
Hi, i just bought a new Galaxy y pro.
I'm Italian and my current fimware is XXKJ4 ...
I want update it but kies doesn't find my phone, i try to reinstall kies, with another PC but is the same...
What is the lastest or the best firmware for this phone?
Also, when i try to flash with Odin, give me a FAIL
Please, help me ! thanks
I have the answer for the problem!
Ok everybody these firmwares are no ready to use with ODIN, that's the problem. You need to convert these KIES firmware to ODIN ready to flash files with Doky73's tool --> SplitFUS2 or request him the firmware in this threat.
And please don't forget to say thanks to Doky and me

I ran into this thread and tried the same thing. After much searching, I found references to this thread and/or this tool to use. It looks like the problem with this firmware is it is all in one package, and needs to be split. See the links below:

I can confirm it works fine using Odinatrix (from the second link above. I used the firmware mentioned in this thread. (by the way, the OP didn't mention it is password protected - password is 'android'). I let Odinatrix split up the firmware - super easy to use, just follow the instructions in the second link above.
I then flashed CSC, MODEM, and PDA - nothing else. I didn't repartition - just left at auto reboot and f. reset time. Now flashed fine and is restarting.
AN ADVICE
Hello sir...maybe your tutorial will be better if you can give us some photos/ScreenShots of flashing steps...

is there any help ?
Hello everybudy here is a guide to recover from soft brick(I ave only tested it on S7500 not other)
So do it at ur own risk
First download odin3 v1.85
Download stock firmware for ur cont
Extract both in a particular folder
Open odin
Go to Download mode in ur phone and press volume up
Connect ur phone to pc
If odin shows a yellow mark then u are ready to proceed
Mark PDA & and selct file
Click start in odin
Keep patience
After process is over odin will show pass
Now ur phone will reboot
(DO NOT REMOVE USB CABLE TILL ITS REBOOTED PROPELY)
Complete the setup
Now again switch off mobile as as the process has not been completed yet
Go to recovery mode (this time it would be stock recovery not cwm)
In recovery mode select wipe data factory reset and wipe cache partition
Reboot.
Now u are done!!
HIT THANKS IF I HELPED

There has also a type of soft brick where you will not be able to access download mode. Then odin will not work
then use USB jig. See http://www.xda-developers.com/android/need-a-samsung-usb-jig-build-your-own/

Sorry I could not tag your question due to failure with the mobile app. For starters I did not worry about using the auto-root option since I am not worried about tripping Knox counter. I prefer to flash twrp or cwm via Odin and then flash the current version of supersu from the recovery or if you are looking to install a custom Rom you can just flash it instead. Nothing against CF auto-root but this has always worked for me.

Ok... I Solved my problem finally... I spent almost 3 days in forums to find a solution... So i give you guys a summary what I do:
1) Find my phone's pit file according to model and storage capacity (Mine is G920F 32GB)
2)Then the trick is use ODIN V3.10.6 insist of V3.09... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2711451
3)If you face with hidden.img problem, extract the rom's file and rename the file hidden.img to hidden.img.tar and flash it by ODIN (Put this file on AP)...
Wait for some minutes and there is where magic happens

I don't understand your solution.
What do I need to do with the pit file?
My device is also G920F 32GB.
The USB DEBUGGING is on.

Finally I managed to flush the ROM
Odin3_v3.10.6 did the job.
Thanks!
Your welcome buddy... just don't forget to hit the thank button
First off, I have TWO (2) of these guys. Same model number. I flashed 1 successfully. These came from a flea market. The one that upgraded successfully was working. The other one, was labeled "PARTS" and just bootloops.
This one, I am UNABLE TO GET INTO RECOVERY by pressing "PWR+VOL DOWN", unlike the first one. I AM able to get into DOWNLOAD mode and attempt to flash the 4.2.2 update like I did the first one.
The problem is ODIN is throwing a "FAIL!" on this one.

I am using ODIN 3.10. Not sure if there is any way to force a recovery. I don't OWN these, they are a Co-Workers. Just curious if using a PIT file to repartition would be best, or if I need to flash a new bootloader or something. In DOWNLOAD mode, the screen says:
Odin Mode:
Product Name: GT-P5113
Custom Binary Download: No
Current Binary: Samsung_Official
Any help?
Update:
Tried to use a PIT file to restore the partition tables, but all I get is "There is no PIT Partition". I have tried a few PIT files for the 5110/5113 as well as trying to flash it standalone and with said ROM. Not sure if there are any other methods or steps involved.
Any help would be awesome!
