So it's not 50, but it's significant and all you have to do is agree to receive a CNet newsletter. Seems reasonable.

32 gigs is here

Not yet for the miniSDHC (which should be supported now after the wm6 upgrade according to everyone's posts) but for the SDHC. There is a microsdhc that has 8gb's though that hopefully can be used with an adapter. C'mon 32 gig minisdhc!

Gr8 rebates:8GB Class4 Sandisk microSD for 44 pounds;25% off all titles at mobile2day

1. As has been announced in excellent Windows Mobile site MoDaCo, you can, if you’re living in the UK, get the class 4 (!) Sandisk 8GB microSDHC with a free high speed Sandisk USB reader for £44.41 shipped. If you’re living outside the UK, the price will be somewhat (about 3 pounds) higher. It’s a very nice price, particularly if you’re situated in the EU, where no additional taxes / customs will be added to the price. Visit the original thread for more info.
(Note that, as I’ve also elaborated on this in the thread, I haven’t managed to pay via PayPal for some unknown reason. Hope this will be fixed in the near future).
2. As has already been mentioned in THIS news item, German generic (multiplatform) mobile software warehouse mobile2day has a generic (!) 25% rebate on almost all products (!) till the end of the year. Please consult my original article on how you can register and purchase items. After that, hopefully, you’ll get along with the German-only interface. If you really can’t find out how to fill in the fields, let me know (in public) and I post a thorough elaboration on this question. Happy shopping!

Sandisk 32 GB MicroSD available for preorder now!

mobilefun co uk have made this available for preorder for shipping from 20th April for £99 inc. taxes! Not bad for a new entrant I'd say.

Does that write speed class this as a class 6?
According to the SD Card Spec
http://www.sdcard.org/developers/tech/speed_class/
Above 6MB/s is class 6
I just wish it was someone other than mobilefun...
They sold me a Motorola A780 (back when having linux on a phone was cool the first time around ) as new when it was used, and had the 2nd CD missing (making it impossible to install the GPS maps) and I found that the phone had been used (the GPS creates trail logs)...

That's just marketing. They offer it ways before it's available.
When it reaches the market, other stores will offer it, too.

Technically it does not because it uses the term "up to". Class 6 requires a minimum of 6MB/sec and when they say "minimum" they mean that it has to deliver that speed under all conditions (such as, say, as the card fills up). When the spec is quoted as "up to" then it is a maximum transfer spec and you will likely never see those speeds and they can't be used to qualify for a Class 6 rating.
Given that Sandisk's Mobile Ultra line, once the speed kings of the market, have been slowly downgraded to Class 4 and recently to Class 2 in shipping form, I wouldn't expect this card to be anything more than Class 2.
Now all we need is higher quality apps in the market.
ill pass is a class 2.

Sandisk first batch of 32gb micros is going to be class 2 only.
With other classes to follow at higher prices.

SanDisk 16 GB microSDHC - $12.99

SanDisk 16 GB microSDHC Flash Memory Card (card only) SDSDQM-016G $12.99 + Free Shipping @Amazon
Pretty cheap price for a 16GB memory card if you looking for it. I've picked one up as SanDisk are pretty reliable and it's Class 4 has a decent Read / Write Access Time.

I saw that that Class 10 but KomputerBay had a lot of hit and miss reviews of the SD cards for not performing well.

Ah yes for Komputerbay memory, but if you read closely, it is a Samsung Micro SD card, and a Komputerbay ADAPTER. The Card is Samsung memory though.
And, Komputerbay really isn't involved mcuh because

Verizon pricing (NEW) and improved

Hope this is the right forum for this.
Verizon out to hose their customers looks like.
1 gig of data a month then $10 for each gig thereafter!
"The data allowances start at $50 per month for 1 gigabyte. That's enough for prudent two-smartphone users who use Wi-Fi a lot, but Verizon recommends getting 2 gigabytes for $60. After that, each additional 2 gigabytes cost an extra $10 per month."
Highway robbery if you ask me! I'm on Sprint by the way.
