Lag now and then - Galaxy Note 10.1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm having short of lag after last update..it just doesn't feel as smooth as before...
Anyone else having same issues ?
Enviado desde mi GT-N8013 usando Tapatalk 2

No issue here, of course I do a full wipe & reformat all partitions first, then install a stock tar (MC3), then I let it update via OTA, reset again & then restore everything user-side using Titanium.
You may want to at least flush out your cache & davlik if you haven't. It's working brilliantly for me though & these updates, took a cool but kind of lame tablet & made it like a completely different device. Those idiot reviewers & others comparing it & knocking it against other tablets have not used it since the update. I have a Nexus 10 & I don't ever use it because the Note 10.1 is so much smoother & more functional. It is only missing NFC, but I guess they have new aftermarket accessories for that now.

Did the wipes...still seems slower the before

Wiping caches and full restores usually don't help with lag- with very few exceptions (i.e., an app that's either hogging the CPU, or writing too much data to the Flash memory) apps (and their associated state) are not the cause of lag in Android and won't be fixed by screwing around with caches
Besides, the "Cache" is hardly ever used when running and "Dalvik Cache" only needs to be wiped (it's got versioning and knows when it needs to rebuild) if you go between different ROM vendors.
To the OP- how much free space is on your internal sdcard? Most Android lag is due to slow Flash memory, and having it get too full is the primary cause of Flash-memory slowdowns.
Also, after a reboot is almost always the wrong time to check for lags in Android- between the Media Scanner, apps starting up and running thru their databases, and apps doing network "stuff" it tends to take 5+ mins for Android to be completely idle after booting.

New Software update
Latest software update that ends in ***CMD3 seems to fix the lag issue for some users. In case if you dont have the latest update and if the update is not available via OTA, you could use Kies Software to update (I had to use kies to get the update as the OTA request came back saying the updates are available only in the order it was requested)

From this link it seems to be for 8010 instead of 8013... I know I can install it but I rather prefer it to be 8013...unless it is my only chance to get rid of the lag...

Couriously right now I got an OTA....installing ....will comment after it reboots.
OK....now I´m actually in xxxxCMD3...hopes it kills lag as you said.
Thanks

Did anyone have trouble getting the update? I saw the message that said update available but for the last two days I can't update the tablet. I keep getting a message that says I cannot access the server. Updates are processed in the order they are received.
Anyone else get this message?

I have the same issue every time a new update comes out. Looks like Samsung is pushing the OTA update in the order in which the tablets were registered (first come first serve). But when I connect my tablet to the kies software, I receive the latest update immediately.

I had no issues with my updates

Reboot issue with JB 4.1.2 vzw newest update on Razr HD

Hey so after a few days of the new update running OK I started having random reboots! I noticed on a few other sites people complaining about the same issue of reboots multiple times of the day! Just wanted to let everyone know a possible solution to the issue! I have went through multiple FDR's and did come to the conclusion that the random reboots for my phone were associated with a new update to the chrome browser and were easily fixed by uninstalling new update and telling it not to automatically update so hope this helps anyone who may be having the same issues!!!
Well so much for that after trying everything its back to rebooting again? I love my phone but seriously considering putting it against a wall!!!

Never had that issue with the new update. Try doing a factory reset or try the new fast boot files to start fresh. Not sure why chrome would be an issue.try the chrome beta version but I suspect chrome had nothing to do with the reboot just a bad initial update.

Fixed!! I hope!!!
Finally broke down done a fast boot to the new files all is working seems OK anyway know in a day or 2!!!

My Wife's phone is doing the Random Reboot thing since the 4.1.2 update as well. I did a Factory Reset on it and it still does the same thing.
I suspect an application is doing it? Because I put the phone in Safe Mode and it never rebooted while in Safe Mode.
But I have No Idea of how to tell which app is doing it, other than to uninstall a random app after every reboot to find out which one it is.
But I would like to try this fast boot option? I know how to get the phone into fastboot, but which files are you redoing? What exactly are your doing ?
Have the same problem. I have done:
SBF 4.1.2
FDR
WIPE
Even tried running a parallel rom with safestrap (bakatang)
The chrome thing did not work
Keeps freezing. Seems the problem is way worse when having the phone play some music.
I am just about unlocking the thing and SBFing back to 4.1.1 but not really interested into unlocking the bootloader. That would be the last choice for me.
If someone knows of some way to fix this, please help, this used to be a great phone...
No problem here with the sfr rom... used for over 1 month now and no problem and my system is always fast...

I've been running some tests for about a week now since I got my RAZR and the results are interesting... I've had lockups and reboots multiple times a day, most often while doing something involving sound i.e. listening to music or playing a game or video. I've tried stock and custom 4.1.2 ROMs and custom 4.2.2 ROMs and it persists so I'm inclined to say its either bad audio software or faulty audio chips. This is everything I've done:
1. turning off sounds (keeping phone on vibrate/silent) pretty much eliminates the random lockups/reboots I got from receiving multiple texts or calls at once. I noticed if I bombarded the phone and made it ring a lot it gave the same results as listening to music but if its just a text or email or call here and there during regular use it the phone works fine.
2. Listening to music, either streamed or local from phone/SD storage and through headphones or speaker, would cause skips and audio cutting out. After a few minutes of this the phone will lock up completely and reboot itself. Strangely enough it happened only rarely or not at all while streaming music via bluetooth to a stereo.
3. I don't think its anything kernel related or if it is its not causing visible errors or wake locks. My battery seems to be just fine through all this.
4. I have tried multiple music/video players, put my SD card with music in another phone and the music plays fine, stock ROMs with nothing disabled/removed still has the issue, custom ROMs debloated and modified also have the issue. I think I've just about covered every base I can as an end user to track down what's causing it but I'm open to suggestions.
I have a replacement scheduled so I will see if that fixes it, I have seen this problem reported quite a few times all over the interwebz but there are also a lot of people not having the issue either so idk. If there are any Devs or anyone skilled in android-fu that can read logcats I will be more than willing to get those for you. Sorry for the essay everyone lol
tl;dr Like others I have freezes and reboots from what seems to me to be an audio software/hardware problem, either built in or from the 4.1.2 update
Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk 2
I am almost sure is kernel related bc I did not have problems in the 4.1.1 sw.
If someone that has an unlocked bootloader could install 4.1.1 from an sbf and tell if the problems are gone, would be great!
here is the sbfs: http://sbf.droid-developers.org/vanquish/list.php
here is the bl unlocker: http://vulnfactory.org/blog/2013/04/08/motorola-bootloader-unlocking/

I am not doing that bc I do not use custom roms so dont want to unlock BL. If someone has, this could help much. It is different from using safestrap, because safestrap uses the same kernel, from what I read.

If you are unlocked, please do check. I am debating whether to unlock or not just bc of this. Today it has resetted at least a good 20 times or so.

one solution that has worked for me is silencing the phone or putting it on vibrate and I haven't had a freeze or reboot in almost 2 days... the problem seems to me to be related to audio/sound and not listening to music or watching videos along with silencing ringtones has put a stop to it which kind of confirms my suspicions... I will try and flash back when I can but it'll need a day or 2 of field testing to confirm if its a solution
Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk 2
I can confirm that audio stuff just does worse to the phone. However, I have not had your luck when silencing. Keeps rebooting no matter what. Please let us know when you do.

looks like a negative on the SBF, tried to restore 4.1.1 and it failed halfway through the flash, now won't turn on... working on reviving it... I really need to replace this thing as its been nothing but a PITA since I got it

wow that sucks. I recall reading somewhere that you could actually downgrade your software version if you have an unlocked bootloader.what is the error you are getting? Tried using RAZR utility 1.1? Won't it turn on at all? Maybe a discharged battery? Hope we can solve it

got it revived with Mattlgroff's new 1.2 utility, was able to force it to fastboot mode... the problem seemed to be some kind of partition error, I tried redownloading the sbf files thinking it was a bad file and got the same error so idk what it is since I'm on stock unrooted 4.1.2. My bootloader is already irreversibly unlocked so that won't be a problem lol but I am a n00b to RSD Lite and Moto devices so I'll tinker with it more when I get some free time
edit: I did have a Maxx HD way back at launch for a month or so running stock 4.1.1 and it ran perfectly, so my idea is its kernel/codec/software related. Hopefully a custom ROM (or hell even stock) with Hashcodes Qcom kernel will fix the issue we're having
Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk 2
I talked with vzw service, the assistant said that 2% of the phones were having this issue, wich for this kind of technology is a pretty big number of phones. Suuggested to send it to Motorola but since its rooted its almost sure not to be replaced by them. What is strange is that not everyone is having this issue. I would be almost sure Motorola is going to release a fix for this, but would not count days. Getting kind of frustrated with this phone I used to like so much. Thinking of going the htc route bc this is getting unbearable.
Any news in this? Anyone tried a new ROM that could solve this? Or even a fix?
... or just everyone had another phone lying aroud...

My wife & I both have this phone and still are constantly being rebooted. This is even after the software update. I have been wiped, factory reset, and everything possible, but I've not called for a replacement yet. Normally I havea worse luck with those.
Wife used to love this phone, now she hates it and hates we changed from AT&T to Verizon since we have no backup Verizon phones. At least we could take the sim out and go to the iPhone that's floating around the house when the phone went to pot before. Makes me really hate suggesting that we go back to Moto phones since that's all that I've used on Verizon.
Wonder if big red will get the new HTC One....
Tried flashing the MR-4 sbf, but did not solve the issue.

Tab 2 10.1 GT-P5113 4.2.2 update?

Hmm... I just grabbed my P5113 tab and turned Wifi on and it immediately chimed software update in notifications and went away. So like anyone else, i was curious and went to manually check for a software update and in stead of getting the normal "you have the latest software version" blah blah blah, it said this
"Access to the software update service is provided to users in the order in which they request it. Try later"
Now I can only assume this means the servers containing the update are at full capacity and aren't able to handle anymore concurrent connections. Meaning too many people are trying to pull the update?
Can anyone confirm this and is my assumption correct why i can't get it right now?
I'm seeing the same message. I haven't seen that one before. Fingers crossed!

Unfortunately, I now have the update on my GT-P5113.
What a major pile of crap. All of my carefully arranged Touchwiz pages? Cleared.
All of my purchased apps? Gone.
I'm used to that, since Samsung never bothered to update the US WiFi tabs to 4.1.2; the 4.1.1 release loses track of purchased apps when you reboot. For that release, I just had to reinstall them.
For this release? Nope. Purchased apps download, then the play store fails with error "-24". You can't have those back.
Oh, and of course, my root access is gone, so I can't remove the stray folders causing that "-24" error.
This isn't even a HALF baked update. Unless you're ready to factory reset afterwards and reinstall everything from scratch you may want to avoid it.
At this point, that's probably what I'm going to have to do.
Now to find out how I can get superuser access back. What fun.
hmmm that sucks man. sorry to hear, but that is strange about the purchaced apps as its account bound to your Gmail account. You should be able to just go and redownload them.
As for Root... I never had the need to root mine as i just used it for streaming my own content (video) to it and i already got 9-10 hours of streaming on 1 charge so stock was fine for me.
The thing is i was thinking or rooting to get 4.2.2 on it since you have to have 4.2.2 to screen mirror with allshare cast. I want to be able to run my slingplayer on my tab and screen mirror the slingplayer to my sammy smart tv. I can do it on my GS4 but the phone gets to hot trying to watch a 2-3 hour sporting event.

Yes, you can redownload. But you can't install them without removing the old copy of the application folders, which requires root. (You get a "-24" error from the play store when you try to install.
Oh, and they disappear again on the next restart.
AND it seems to restore a whole bunch of apps each restart, which then causes another mass download from the play store: Gmail, Books, Magazines, Movies, Music, Search, Plus, Hangouts, Kindle, Maps, Samsung Music Hub, Peel, Samsung Push Service, Talk Back, YouTube are all reverted on a restart.
This has not been good. As I said earlier, I may have to factory reset and start over. Maybe it'll be better starting fresh.
Hmm... I still can't pull it down. It is able to be had via Kies but I refuse to ever load that crap on my PC so I am stuck checking every few hours i guess.
I have updated my wife's GT-P5113 last night using Kies. Everything went smoothly. This one is as stock as it can be, not even root.
A factory reset got my problems completely sorted out. It's stable and seems to be running fine.
Apparently there was some kind of permissions problem in the per-user folder scheme but since I didn't know what they were supposed to be set to, I decided to bite the bullet and do the reset.
After that, and a long wait while it re-installed everything, it's working just fine now.
Yeah I got the download last night and all was fine no need to FDR for mine (though mine wasn't rooted) The thing i do not like is it went to a phone UI rather then the Tablet UI. I liked the notification area in the bottom right corner as to the top pull down like a phone. That i feel was a mistake in UI planning. Your hands normally are on the sides and to the bottom so it was more intuitive to get to the Notification area with your right thumb. Also the back button is now in the bottom center of the screen instead of the far left bottom where you could easily reach with your left thumb to go back.
Everything else is very familiar compared to my GS4 4.2.2 so that is good. Im not happy that there is no screen mirroring that came with 4.2.2 like it's on the GS4 and i even yanked all the APKs out from the GS4 and they won't install on the Tab 4.2.2 so it must be a framwork thing or system.ui maybe idk. all i know is im disappointed about this fact.

Hi guys, I updated by KIES from 4.1.1 to 4.2.2. Mine is Tab2 10.1 GTP5113 USA WiFi 16 GB. Only problem is that can't turn device off... it reboots immediately after screen goes black... did a hard reset and still the same... then rooted to see if problem fix, but no luck... sometimes turn off sometimes not... next step could be install a custom Rom to see if I can fix the problem...
Wanted to know if somebody else faced this in past times or just in this new upgrade to 4.2.2? Or if somebody could give any ideas... maybe I'am missing something, maybe have to do or try something... I don't know..
Cheers

Hi @fgoyti for your location I don't think it is? I'm in Venezuela and I upgraded by KIES... unfortunately I got a problem... I described it in my previous post... Maybe you only have to try again.
Clean download and install of 4.2.2 yesterday. Went to settings, update software pushed the button and away it went.
Works great for me without any issues. I like it very much. Smooth and fast. On my Galaxy Tablet 2 7 GT-P3113.
I'm in Honolulu. Had to try three times before it started. Had to wait my turn I think !
My download was OTA from my GT-P3113 Galaxy 2 7 tried 3 times then download started. I went to sleep and when I woke up the new firmwar,4.2.2, was installed and running without my help. I am very happy as I said it works great, smooth, and fast.

Trying fixing turn off problem
Related my previous post... found original firmware 4.1.1 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1704668 and flashed it.. now I have stock and Tab turns off normally... well, when try to update OTA got the pop up message "Access to the software update service is provided to users in the order in which they request it. Try later"
Advice to who needs to flash stock 4.1.1 (for the reason it was): it happens to me... flashed following the post.. by ODIN with TAR but got an endless bootloop, the solution was going into recovery and do a Hard Reset wiping data and cache... then it booted normally. Maybe it happens because it was a downgrade... I don't know.
Hope nobody else got (and gets) the problem I faced when update to 4.2.2.
Now I'll try again to update by Kies to see if the problem persists... if yes then I'll get back to 4.1.1 and wait for OTA update...
Cheers

Yeah i didn't have any issues at all, especially with turning on and off. I got it OTA and its been fine. Though it is a little laggy sometimes. I may just root it later anyway, but for now it's stable and pretty fast. Certainly faster then 4.1.1

Only can tell you that app Google Pay Movies works but the service it's not available in my country... about Google TV I even don't have the app.
Now I ask you about CM10.2. It's Nightly, isn't? And how does it works?
I am considering installing it because of the problems I described in previous post... none the less I will try the installation OTA because I have tried twice with KIES and my problem that unable turn off the Tab is't fixed... sometimes does and sometimes not... ii's disgusting...
PD: I saw that CM10.2 it's 4.3 . Please @ingenious247 tell us how does it works...

After doing some digging I see there is a new LS996ZV5 update. I am rooted so have not gotten any OTA notifications. Has anyone gotten it and does it help with lag and battery?

Any discussion welcome!

Not sure on battery life yet as it's only been a couple of hours since I updated.

it won't work while rooted, i've tried, twice. i'm waiting on the update prompt again to try my next thing, but if you want to try it feel free. if you open up superuser and go to the settings there is an option to fully unroot the device, its towards the bottom. After you do that restart and then try and apply the update.
let me know if it works! hopefully i get the update prompt again in the morning and will finally be able to get this thing updated!!!!
So curious as to what this update was. All I know is that today my battery life isn't nearly as good. Normally after working for 8hrs my phone is around 75%... Today it was at 40%... Massive difference and i did nothing out of the ordinary

My battery seems pretty good also. Plus it does appear the widgets are loading faster and less jumpiness between screens. Rerooted after the update and all seems fine so far

i didn't get prompted with the update again this morning so i wasn't able to try anything to get my phone to update today. if someone hasn't applied the update yet but has the prompt would you be able to grab the update file and post it? i'll do the same if i get the update prompt again and nothing has been posted yet. at least that way we can try stuff without having to wait for it to decide to check for an update since the manual update check doesn't appear to do anything.....
Hmmmm. I guess I'll use GServiceFix app. See if that solves my issues

Yeah. Its the android system using the battery. Used this fix app before and it solved my problems. Hopefully its still reliable.
again this morning, no update prompt and the "check for update" function continues to say i'm up to date. because i had issues with my first two i signed up for sprint insurance. if i don't get prompted for the update by monday morning i'll stop in a sprint store and see if i can get it swapped again. only problem with that is chancing getting one that overheats or has a bad screen like my previous two did
i rooted and got the OTG upgrade message, and i try but it show error and said my device is rooted then can't upgrade software. Then i try to use "fully unroot" in supersu, the supersu gone, but the error still shown. do anyone know how to unroot and upgrade? thank you very much!

sorry, you are stuck there are a couple of other threads with further discussion on it but so far no one has been able to get the OTA to apply after they have rooted. some of us have been able to get new devices through sprint with having their insurance and play it off as the OTA won't update. they have had enough issues with the device they don't really question it.

After doing some digging I see there is a new LS996ZV5 update. I am rooted so have not gotten any OTA notifications. Has anyone gotten it and does it help with lag and battery?
My phone seems pretty snappy as is but always want the latest if possible.
Guess one last thing. What are thoughts on timetable of custom recovery and maybe some rooted roms for us Sprint users?
Any discussion welcome!

Help! On screen buttons not working!
I really need help. I factory reset my LG G Flex 2 cause I wanted to erased my info and give it as a present to my father for his birthday next october 14 and now the onscreen buttons don't respond, only the back button, nor the multitasking or home button. I turned it off and on, reset it several times, cleared the partition cache or whatever it is called but no luck, mine is running LS996ZV5. It was perfect before the reset. I feel so bad. Thanks in advance for your help.

Desperate for help

Hey guys!
I have posted before but since then the issue has exacerbated to the point where I'm at my wit's end.
I have the SM-P907A AT&T version of this tablet. I bought it second hand and started experiencing issues almost immediately, although nothing as bad as what I'm going through now.
It began with the odd blue-screen and very rare restart. It quickly escalated when I created multiple profiles (user ids). The restarts would happen entirely randomly but without fail within 10 minutes of operation no matter what I did. Oddly enough, it would NEVER restart when connected to a power supply, though I have drawn very little from that.
Thusly, I factory reset my tablet and hoped that would fix the issue; to no avail. Then I decided to Odin flash the stock ROM. Again no joy. Restarts were persistent and regular when the tablet wasn't connected to a power supply. I then rooted the tablet, installed Titanium Backup Pro and proceeded to freeze all apps/odex-es related to Samsung Knox. As some have posted, doing this helped them out. Not lucky enough, I guess.
My questions:
Did my setting up multiple users somehow mess with the tablet in such a deep and integrated way that even factory resetting, re-flashing stock would not help? Is that even possible? My firmware version is P907AUCU1AND7. I'm going to manually update to Lollipop but if my meddling with the multiple users "broke" something essential, will that help?
No, proppably not

I don't think that using the multi user functionality has anything to do with the issues you are experiencing. I have 3 user on my tablet and using it for a year now. Both on KitKat and Lollipop that I am using now. Both rooted, KitKat with Xposed also. Never had issues with blue screens and reboots.
Issues with US devices have been posted regularly and explanations have been posted. Don't focus on multiuser for the issues you experience.
I' am using the SM-P905 International version (EUR)
PDA: P905XXUABOG1
CSC: P905EURABOG1
Ridiculous
Okay guys. Seriously ridiculous. I downloaded the lollipop ROM but got an error when adb sideloading it because it requires the previous firmware P907AUCU1ANK2 for it to update properly whereas I have the one older than that: P907AUCU1AND7.
Can someone help a brotha out? Post a link from where I can download it?! Maybe share their stock rom file?! Pretty please? I've managed to find only TWO results on google. One is a mobilefileserver result requiring that I Pay $60. The other is a Chinese site requiring that I pay significantly less but in a way which is baffling me at the moment.
Any good guy out there who can help??????

Random restart is the problem of cracked battery connector. Re solder the battery connector will fix it permanently.
Read the thread " Flickering Screen " in Galaxy Note or Tab Pro, you will see they all have similar problem like yours and the fix is simple.
No software or upgrade will fix the hardware problem, regardless Kitkat or Lollipop.

DQA keeps Stopping

Anybody keep getting this error after the update from verizon. I keep getting it. I've rebooted, I've gone to recovery and wiped cache and still have it. I saw a post on the s8 post somewhere googling around.
I have at&t and got it after the update. It finally did stop at least.

Yea it's back for me in full force. WTF Samsung
Back for me to this morning. Anyone know what DQA even is?
I think it has something to do with wifi quality. I installed package disabler pro and disabled the service (along with a bunch of other stuff). Problem solved.

I should have done that prior to the update. I'm going to make it till the next stable update, then disable all update processes like I did with the Note 7. My phone was nice for a day before the idiots go mucking with it. I also have a red tinted screen after the update, which I don't think I did prior.
The update brought nothing I want. I'm a complete idiot for letting the phone update. I knew better. It was late at night...
I also think the update changed my LTE signal and the logo on the connection bar. It was better before. I'm typically full strength when lying in bed, now it is 1-2 bars.
Seems it was triggered this morning but receiving an MMS message of someone sending me a pic of the error. so maybe it's the MMS on wifi triggering the error.
There was a procedure where you enable Bixby and swipe left. I tried it and it worked.
At least until this morning. Its back again.
Hurry Samsung and either get out a fix or let us go back.
This way resolve my DQA error

I purchased 2 S8+'s. I updated one and began getting the DQA message immediately, about 2 every minute only on that one updated phone. After spending a day trying ALL of the solutions you see posted, I thought I had it solved until it re-appeared 4 hours later! I decided to go down to the Verizon store to have them resolve this. They spent 45 min on the phone with THEIR technical support and basically went through the same list of solutions we've seen posted. None of them would work. Additionally, I had a Samsung GearS watch that would not install (Error Code 5).
The other phone WITHOUT the update has worked fine, no errors and the same watch installed fine. I asked Verizon to just to wipe the phone so I could start over without the update. Several technicians in the store told me that would NOT work. They stated the update is not removed by restoring the phone to the factory image. I found this difficult to believe, so I said, "Fine, give me another phone!" For whatever reason, and I don't care what the reason is at this point, this phone is not performing as it should, you obviously can't fix it, so as far as I'm concerned it's defective and I demand a replacement. They provided me with a new replacement and transferred all of the apps I spent 6 hours previously installing, to the new replacement, the watch installed properly and I left the store with a properly working phone with no error pop ups. Verizon solved my problem! I am now, once again happy and WILL NOT allow the software update to install until Samsung corrects this.
If you installed this update, you WILL begin receiving the DQA message ONLY when you are on WIFI. That's unsat for a new expensive phone. Simply bring it back to your Verizon store. Demand a refund or another phone. That is the most effective way to send a direct message to both Verizon and Samsung management that you are not happy. No doubt they pushed programmers to release this update before properly testing it. These managers should be held directly responsible for their actions that led to destroying an otherwise fantastic device. And WHY haven't they stopped this bad update???? My phones are still asking me to install it. Nope! NO WAY!

All this and you could've just cleared dalvik cache, no?

Clearing cache doesn't work, but apparently Samsung is pushing an dqa update through the Galaxy app store
So yeah, apparently Samsung is to have pushed out an update to fix the issue yesterday. I have not received it and I still get DQA keeps stopping almost all day, even sometimes when not connected to WiFi. Is there anyone else that has yet to received it? I read it was pushed via Galaxy Apps, so I opened it, but no update. Search in the app comes up with nothing useful.

You did not resolve it, you worked around it.
Go to Play store, Download package disabler pro ($1.49) and disable DQA.
Best $1.49 I spent and I can kill so many crap processes.
