[Q] Bluetooth Signal Strength Issue - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

Hello,
I installed JellyBam 7.6.2 for my Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 the other night and everything seemed to work fine until I connected it via bluetooth to my vehicle. Was able to pair the device but I have NO SIGNAL STRENGTH at all! My first thought was that there was some issue with the ROM so I wiped JellyBam and installed LiquidSmooth the next day in hopes it will solve my problem...it didn't!! Same issue. I did a full wipe/format prior to installing LiquidSmooth. I have no idea what could be causing this issue. Hopefully someone here knows what the deal is.
Thanks, in advance for any help.

Wifi not working on custom ROMs

Okay, so I flashed Paranoid Android 2.16. Everything went great, flashed fine. But I could not get wifi to work at all. It would turn of and back on randomly, would not connect to any network, etc. So, I flashed the ROM by Team Viper. Again, flashed fine, worked fine, but Wifi would not work, it would do the same thing.
So, then I restored my nandroid backup, and wifi works grand. Is there something I missed? Stock isn't too bad on this phone, but I'm a flash junkie, and I'll miss JB on my GNex. PA works beautifully, except for the damn wifi issue.
So, any suggestions on how to get wifi to work on my custom ROMs? Loving this phone so far, I've missed HTC. The three things that would make it my *perfect* phone is SD card slot, bigger battery, and 720p screen. But the phone is gorgeous and feels amazing physically and performance wise.
Same problem...

Okay, I'm glad that it's not just me. I'm going to try again, sometime tomorrow or later today. I'm hoping that it's something that can be fixed with a little more digging, or if it's something that we need a wifi module for.
Same thing here. Just fixed a soft brick now I got utb ROM working. Flashed trick droid and WiFi is gone.

Okay, there was another post with this issue, something that I missed. But apparently it's because of the last update (ICS 4.0.4 & Sense 4.1).
Flashing ROMs over this update seems to be breaking wifi. Here's the other post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1913757
I'm having a lot of trouble with this as well. I just bought a One S a few days ago and got to work rooting, etc. After trying to install other ROMs, I can't get wifi to connect.
I have a T-Mobile version One S and can only assume it's gone through the latest updates prior to my purchase (got it through craigslist).
I have a decent idea of what I'm doing with these phones most of the time, but it seems like this time around I may need a little hand holding through the potential fixes. Like an idiot, I didn't bother to do a backup before jumping into flashing my first ROM, so I probably shouldn't be surprised that I'm having troubles.
Anyways, any help would be greatly appreciated. Right now I'm just stuck here.
What info do you need and how can I find it?
Extra info:
I did try the 1.84 and 2.35 partition fixes but still couldn't get the issue resolved.
Yeah.. I flashed the international version of trickdroid and my wifi signal was great, then I flashed the TMO version (I have a tmo one s) and it messed up my wifi signal completely, weird.
Have you guys found a way to fix it? Im having the same issues with all the custom roms, I've tried several of them and even different versions of the same rom(I thought it was an issues with that rom version) but the wifi never seems to work on any rom I flash. I'm using a htc vivid with att. If you found a fix could you pm me?

[Q] Bluetooth Problems (Garbled) on Stock S3

Hey, I just have a question for you guys real quick, and thanks in advance
My mother is running a bone stock Galaxy S3, running on 4.1.1, and she is having problems with the Bluetooth system in her car (2008 Nissan Altima). When her phone is synced up with the system, and she makes a call, it is completely garbled, both on the calling end and the receiving end. I tested her phone with a headset, and it worked alright. I tested my phone (Which is rooted and I've tested with TW and AOSP) and it works fine. What I'm wondering is if rooting her phone and putting on a custom ROM/Kernel could possibly fix the issue?

[Q] In call speaker problem

Hi I am a noob when it comes to Galaxy devices and I recently ran into a problem with my Galaxy skyrocket. Everything works fine my camera crashes and reboots whenever I use the flash but I can live with that but my bigger problem is that when I make a phone call the other person hears me fine but on my end the sound is terribly low. I have read forums discussing this issue and I have installed apps like Volume + but nothing has changed I tried changing the APN but that did nothing so can anyone help me out there in XDA Land? I am running CM 10.1.2 and whether it was this rom or stock rom the issue was still there. Not sure what else to do
thanks in advance

Are you using the Ucmc1 radio? If not...use it. If the problem still persists whether you are on a custom or stock rom...it could be a number of reasons. Might be a hardware issue.

Thanks for your response, I am using radio UCMC1 I was hoping it was not a hardware issue but at last, it just might be. Its weird because when I am dialing a number the speaker is fine it is not until a call actually goes through that the speaker takes a turn for the worse.

[Q] Wifi Problems with Custom ROMs

Hi Everyone,
I am relatively new to this, but I have now tried two KitKat Roms, and had wifi problems with both. I tried Kat Kiss first and then OmniRom, both 4.4.4. The wifi works sporadically, but eventually drops out and says out of range, and then goes into a obtaining IP address loop, before the network disappears all together. Yesterday it was working fine from about 8 AM to 11 AM, and then disappeared. Has anyone else had this problem, and, if so, is there a fix? Please let me know.
Rich
I have the same issue on the latest stock rom, but usually is a router problem .

[Q] bluetooth connectivity issues between one plus one and my car(2012 bmw 328i)

I had same issues with my nexus 5. I bought one plus one thinking that I would not have those issues. but i was wrong.
I can pair my phone with my car but it disconnects after a minute or so. It will try to reconnect and disconnect again. it goes on until i disable my bluetooth on my phone.
it is very annoying. does anyone know if there is a way to fix it. I am on latest release 38R.
Ask bmw if there's an update for your system.
Have you tried a different ROM, such as Slimkat?
I have ALWAYS had issues connecting my Nexus 4/Nexus 5 to my STI when running any version of CM10/CM11. Switching away from Cyanogenmod solved the Bluetooth connectivity issues with both phones. Slimkat has been the most flawless on my Nexus 5.
My OnePlus One arrives early next week and I plan on immediately rooting/installing Slimkat for this reason. CM11 has had bluetooth connectivity/streaming issues since day 1 and the Cyanogen team has shown absolutely no interest in fixing it in every single new release. It's quite frustrating really.

My OPO (38R) don't work with connected drive. I can go to the internet but BMW online don't work (the request page not found).
It's don't work with LTE but it work if my OPO have and WIFI connection... I try with another rom (slim kat and CM11) and I have the same issues.
BMW online work very nice with my SIII with HDSPA connection.
Only BMW online doesn't work, I can play music in bluetooth, phone with the car and go to the internet. :crying:
i had an issue with BT w my nexus 5 when running CM11 on it with my Audi, but seems like no issues with 33R for me... or 38R for that matter. so not sure sorry
Maybe it's my operator...
